Lol carry on ,sir and be blessed. Pray for His perfect will in my life....
See how i have the quote above of your post LeastamongMany.. Once i quote you by clicking on the REPLY text down the bottom right of you post you are automatically sent a notice that someone has replied to your post.. It is a good way of making sure someone reads your reply.. Otherwise of you just type in a reply without using the REPLY feature then the other person may never know you have responded to their post..

There are a lot of threads where i will post 1 response to the Opening posters question / observation and i will not open that thread again if no one has responded to my reply.. But if someone uses the REPLY feature i will always go back and read their response. :)

PS: And another point.. If you respond to a poster and there is no quote there other people might think you are responding to them, especially when you say something like ""carry on ,sir and be blessed"" not using the persons user name.. I have seen a few awkward situations develop real quick when someone gets offended at receiving a negative response that was not in fact a response to them..

Anyway thats just a few tips that i hope you will consider in the frendly spirit they where given.. Blessings to you and may the LORD's Perfect will be made manifest in your life..

That's propaganda. I gave up on it years ago and it never happened. :p

You give up trying to make it happen but you don't give in to it Lynx, that's if you truly don't want to be single but if you do then nothing lost.

A wise person once told me when we are newly single or sober to learn how to be comfortable with ourselves before getting involved with another. To a 12 stepper like me the 13th step is nearly forbidden. The 13th step is getting involved with someone else before either one is ready. This can lead to relapse or codependency. It just isn't worth it! The need to need and be ,is a surefire shot through the foot.

God created us for relationships... Him first and others in our life. I so want to have someone to love, protect, appreciate, and hold but waiting for the right person is more important. I look to God to fill the times when I feel lonely. Until then, I will trust in Him as I wait.

I don't like it and I would like to meet someone to grow old with. I think that having a mate and partner is a blessing and I'm not giving up either.....Wisdom says that two are better than one (Eccl 4:12)

Whatever makes you happy, go for it.

I personally prefer being alone. But I would never tell someone how to live their life. If you want to find someone, more power to you. And good luck in your search. :)

I go through periods where I feel lonely and would like to be in a relationship and other times when I really don't care. At present I am in the I don't care period. I guess there are advantages and disadvantages to both. When I see problems in some peoples relationships I think to myself I am really glad I am not in a relationship but when I see it working for some where there is trust, respect and good communication I think to myself I wouldn't mind that. I just trust in God that if he wants me to meet someone somehow he will cause our paths to meet. Till then I just get on with things.
My sentiments exactly Ruby!!

Of course...I'm not trying to tell anyone how to live their lives. (I thought I was replying to Leastamongmany's post, with agreement and my personal preferences). I need to work on my technical challenges, clicking the wrong reply button :)
