What specific verses are you referring to?
Everything about Daniel's visions concerned the end times:

Dan 12:
8I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?”

9“Go on your way, Daniel,” he replied, “for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end. 10Many will be purified, made spotless, and refined, but the wicked will continue to act wickedly. None of the wicked will understand, but the wise will understand.

11And from the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12Blessed is he who waits and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.

13But as for you, go on your way until the end. You will rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”

Daniel 11:31 is referring to when Antiochus Epiphanies sacrificed a pig on the altar in 167 BC which of course has already taken place. The setting of the abomination mentioned in Daniel 9:27 and 12:11 will be done by the coming antichrist which is yet future.
Daniel 11:31 and Daniel 12:11 go tegether. Daniel 9:27 is something entirely separate and different.

I have to disagree -- sometimes 'end' means the end of "the world" and sometimes 'end' means the end of "the times of the Jews"...

(context determines which one)

The Two Witnesses

Do not hold your breathe about them, they already came and went in the form of the disciples under the leadership of Peter and Paul. Again, the end of age will be like the days of Noah/Lot, everything will be normal, people will be making merry like it is now.

The disciples under the leadership of Peter and Paul: prophesied to many nations, anyone who went against them died (by fire from heaven- miraculous), did many signs and wonders, only after they finished their work, did the antichrist overpower them and killed them. We see in the book of Acts how no prison could contain them, only later in their ministry were they held up and killed.

Peter is Antipas, the faithful witness being spoken of in Rev 2, by Jesus. I can't explain.

Other things about them are also difficult; like them preaching for 3.5 years/ 42 months and being raised after 3.5 days. :)

(I guess 'tegether' would be some serious southern slang, huh?)

The problem is, new heavens and new earth doesn't mean new soil and new space but a new mindset, the mind of Christ in people.
We should not doubt the plain words of Scripture. It means A CLEAN SWEEP of the earth and atmosphere.

God's context is always about the heavens and earth, and all that's in them, not just a portion of it.

Dan 12:1“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. 2Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. 3Those who are wise awill shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. 4But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”

Do you believe this (above) is only about the Jews in the 1st century?

2 Pet 3:5 But they deliberately overlook the fact that long ago by God’s word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water, 6through which the world of that time perished in the flood. 7And by that same word, the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men

I'm very sure, the soil and atmosphere that Noah and his family experienced is the same that we are experiencing today, only the ungoldy (mindset) was wiped out and thus it is said the old heavens and earth were wiped out. Also the current heavens and earth (ungodly mindset) are being wiped out by fire.

This is now the plain understanding of scripture.

I have always held that it was End Times related; however, I am studying an alternate possibility that I am not discussing yet...

1. End times is not a hidden time; everything is written down for us, with the right combinations, one can get it. It is calculable by man using the normal earthly methods/calculations (This is what it means, the number of the beast is that of a man..Rev 13)

2. It is plainly stated, "..it shall be 2300 evenings and morning until everything is restored....Daniel)
Only that you need to confirm through calculation of the 70 week calendar (The reason you are invited - Let he who has wisdom count... Rev 13)

3. Daniel, a closed book- means it is missing a key
Revelation an open book which means the key to unlocking Daniel is in there. The #666

You conveniently left off a very important part of that verse, which says:

"You will not see Me again until you say "blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord." This in fact is exactly what Israel will realize and say sometime during that last 3 1/2 years when they are being cared for out in the wilderness by God.
I left it out because it has nothing to do with the return of Christ. There is no mention of 3 1/2 years nor is there any mention of Israel being cared for in the wilderness. In my opinion the whole point of the verse was to say that Jesus was leaving this world and unless they accept Jesus as the son of God (become a Christian) then they will never see Christ again.

Mat 23:39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

By the way, you never answer the question I asked. Do you think the verses I quoted would be considered as Jesus cursing the fig tree - Israel?

No, KJV1611, like all preterists, believe that Jesus returned in 70 AD ending the age. To them the end of the age (of the law) was fulfilled by the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem. To full preterists, the resurrection is included as taking place in 70 AD.
I'm sorry but you have no idea what I believe. I'm not a preterist, I don't believe that Christ returned in AD 70 and I do believe Christ will return again at some time in the future.

(Mat 24:2 And He said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.” )

(Mat 24:3 As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” )

Look, Jesus associated the destruction of the 1st century temple with his coming after which the disciple asked when shall these things be?

When?

(Mat 24:34 “Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. )

The temple was destroyed in the generation that he lived in (this generation) therefor his coming was directly related to the time of the 1st century temple destruction.

A kid could figure this out.
When did noah and lot get taken away AFTER the judgement/wrath?
And when was there 2 in a bed with one taken and the other left?

"Tribulation such as the world has never seen,or ever will..."

Jesus is standing there seeing ad 70 with jews and christians fleeing. He saw armies encircling Jerusalem.
He saw israel erased and restored in 1947 and on into the rapture and great tribulation.
He SAW ALL THAT.
HE RELATED all that to those standing there.
That why you can't figure it out.

The following is a youtube video by the late Dr.Walter Martin. It's about 50 minutes long and extremely instructive regarding the events as to when the Great Tribulation will take place. Btw, for those of you who do not know who Dr. Walter Martin is just google his name. You might also know that he is the author of the book "Kingdom of the Cults.

IN GOD THE SON,
bluto
I remember him well.
He did good defending the diety of Jesus.
He,like kent hovind got delusional over the rapture.
Rev 14 is a nuclear bomb destroying the false post trib rapture. Laying it in heaps forever.
A thread killer deluxe

Remember....you heard it here first

My friend -- I think it is wonderful that you understand that the Lord is returning exactly one time only and that it is post-trib. However, you need to increase your understanding of the End Times Scenario.

Go read the 'Truth' page on my website. Then, take a look at the pages in the 'Study' section of the site.

I pray that the Lord will increase your understanding of the End Times Scenario - if you will let Him...

This is the proper order of events:

Great Tribulation
Two Witnesses
Return of Christ
Wrath of God
1000-year reign of Christ
If we remove 1 thes 4 and rev 14 as well as the other pretrib verses, then yes,you can misconstrue the rapture to about anyplace you want.

HAHAHA

I meant to say 'span of 490 years'.
And God calls the first half the great tribulation.
So thats what i call it,as well as the last half as Jesus said "tribulation such as the world has never,...or ever will see again"
So since heaven calls the 7 yrs "tribulation" i will keep calling ot the gt
Look at the 4 horsemen, who sends them, and tell me they are not the wrath of God.
This wrath/trib baloney mis applicaton exists to prop up a doctrine.
