No question about it...and then be holy....thats include good works
Anything beyond salvation by faith is the direct result of being born again from above by faith, Jesus in is and through us and a process of ongoing sanctification which is subject to successes and or failures.....

I did that.....Had an instructor say that he could prove all three beliefs on the "rapture" from the bible....I raised my hand and said....But there is one truth concerning the "rapture and the timing of it" if you can prove all three views of it with the bible, you are not being honest with the bible and or twisting it out of context..........peeved him right off hahahha oh well.....the truth is the truth
I hear you bro. I had an instructor who claimed Isaiah 53 is not about Jesus. I asked him who he thought Isaiah 53 is about and he didn’t have an answer. So in other words he proclaims not to know who it’s about but somehow knows it’s not about Jesus. That was my seminary experience in a microcosm.

The point that your saying we "Believe" the gospel?
IT'S NOT OURS YET !!!!!!!!

We don't have the Spirit of Christ sealed in us yet at that beginning phase, so Christ, His word, and the promises in His word are not ours to claim or believe in. Rom.8:9

There's no such thing as believing in God's word that will result in recieving the Spirit of Christ.
Maybe we should talk about why you don't want to surrender your lives to Christ. What are you afraid you might have to give up?

This is for anyone who has the capability to be honest..
If the gospel is not ours then whats the point of surrendering? If we are not receiving anything for our surrender then our surrender is pointless.

But surrender is the same as believing and receiving. You are surrendering your understanding and receiving understanding that comes from Christ.

You are surrendering your un-righteousness and receiving Righteousness that comes from Christ.

You are surrendering your work and receiving Rest.

Surrender to Christ is not a bad term or explanation on its own. Its just half the story. You are missing the receiving part.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Hebrews 7:7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.

I went through the Covenant Theological Seminary.

But I did it online.

Lots of really good classes on stuff. Some of it was kind of boring/tedious. But it was free back when I was going through it. Which was about 2008-2009.

Now your experience most definitely seemed to be a spiritual blessing, and I rejoice for you. I attended New Brunswick Theological Seminary, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. It was then, and is now, a cesspool of spiritual decadence and leftist ideologies. I thought about writing a book on my seminary experience but in reality it would be a waste of time because no one would read it, intriguing as it would be.

That's too bad and was frustrating I am sure!
