While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”
You guys listen only to part one of the Gospel (before the ascension). "Listen to Him" means you must listen to the whole message (part 1 and part 2). Part two is found mostly in Paul's letters.

Before I came to this forum, I never considered the Bible as anything but the Word of God. Certainly I knew it was speaking to different people at different times and the NT brought "whomsoever would" together as one in the Body of Christ in the NT.

How do you know you are a former "pagan or heathen or gentile" as opposed to "one of the scattered sheep"?

Where and who are Israel?

Gods promise to Abraham was
Genesis 13:16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.

Genesis 15:5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Genesis 28:14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

Genesis 22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies

Jacob, named changed to Israel by God had the 12 sons who became the nation of Israel, and as descendants became inheritors of the Covenant.

When Reuben sinned, Joseph, eldest of Jacob and Rachel, inherited the birthright and special blessing making him head of the family in birthright and spiritual and secular affairs. Joseph brought Ephraim and Manasseh to Israels' deathbed where he crossed his hands when giving them the blessing making another tribe. So Manasseh received the promise of becoming a GREAT nation, and Ephraim a company of nations. And through disobedience were conquered and brought into captivity and the 10 Northern tribes scattered to the world.

So we know they are still here today in mass numbers. Have you ever read a list of the descriptions of "Israel" and how we would be able to spot them?
Just read that they would spread to the West, East, North, and South.
We know Manasseh would become a great nation, Ephraim a company of nations.

Here are a few others.
2 Samuel 7:10 Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,

Isaiah 49:1 Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.
Isaiah 49:2 And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;
Isaiah 49:3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.
Isaiah 49:4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.
Isaiah 49:5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.
Isaiah 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
Isaiah 49:7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.
Isaiah 49:8 Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;
Isaiah 49:9 That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.
Isaiah 49:10 They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
Isaiah 49:11 And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.
Isaiah 49:12 Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.
Isaiah 49:13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
Isaiah 49:14 But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
Isaiah 49:15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
Isaiah 49:16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

Israel in the Bible

To colonize and spread abroad
To colonize the desolate place of the earth
To lose a colony, then expand, demanding more room
To have all the land needed
To be the first among nations
To continue as a nation forever
To be invincible by outside forces
To be undefeatable, defended by God
To be Gods instruments in destroying evil
To have a land of great mineral wealth
To have a land of great agricultural wealth
To be rich in trading
To be envied and feared by all nations
To have a new name
To have a new language
To possess the gates of her enemies
To have control of the seas
To lose all trace of lineage
To keep the Sabbath forever (one day in 7 set aside)
To be called the sons of God (Christian)
To be a people saved by the Lord
To be custodians of the Oracles
To carry the Gospel to all the world
To be kind to the poor and set slaves free
To be Gods Glory
To possess God's Holy Spirit as well as His Word
To be Gods Heritage formed by God forever

Can you think of two places that together fit this description because it is them who have inherited the birthright and special blessing making him head of the family in birthright and spiritual and secular affairs

Jesus, while on Earth, taught obedience to the law of Moses. Do you guys, in your church, observe the following?

Season all your grain offerings with salt. Do not leave the salt of the covenant of your God out of your grain offerings; add salt to all your offerings. Leviticus 2:13 New International Version (NIV)[/QUOTE
Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin. Romans 3:19-20

All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.)

Life Through the Spirit

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit. Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.
Romans 8:1-7)

For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law. Hebrews 7:12

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Which law do you follow?

Which one are you under?

Are you a Jew, a Gentile or a new creation in Christ? (Read Ephesians 2:11-22)

since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law. Romans 3:30-31

The commandments, “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Romans 13:9 (see Matthew 19:16-30)

Without LOVE you are nothing and LOVE is to WALK in OBEDIENCE to His commands which Jesus has set as an example that we should follow in His steps when He walked on this earth IN LOVE or in OBEDIENCE to God's will and commands (1 Peter 2:21, Ephesians 2:10, 1 Corinthians 13:1-13, 2 John 1:6, Hebrews 5:7-9, Galatians 5:6)

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

The word/s of the Master is a law to His servants, written on their hearts.

Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and walk in Love.

God is good and His LOVE endures forever. Amen

Wow, but you also share the view that Jesus was primarily preaching only to the Jews in the 4 gospels.

That is nice
He was preaching against those calling themselves Jews at the time, the Scribes and Pharisees. Those who say they are Jews and are not

Jews have also been "The house of Judah", " The southern kingdom", (also can be called a Jew if living in Jerusalem, kinda like a Texan, or an Okie)

Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
( to the house of Israel FOR the world or whomsoever would)

Romans 15:5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus
Romans 15:6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
Romans 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers
Romans 15:9 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

Is it not the same apostle Paul who said this;

I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obey God by what I have said and done—
Romans 15:18

And who do you think is speaking through Christ before the ascension?

In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. Hebrews 1:1-2

during the ot, a gentile must become a Jew in order to be saved, that means circumcision and follow the law of Moses
So in the NT a gentile, a lost sheep, a jew, a kenite, a whomsoever will, upon accepting Christ becomes A Christ-man or a Christian, one no different that the other, made one in Christ.

Paul is calling the gentiles to Christ, and Christ is calling and leading all the lost sheep, along with the gentiles who have been led to Him through Pauls teachings, along with whomsoever would to God, all made into one body, in perfect unity through Christ Jesus, our Lord and Saviour.

The Body of Christ, where Jews and Gentiles were equal, was not a reality until Paul. (Ephesians 3)

So it is wrong to say "In the NT". Matthew to John are as OT as the rest of the OT.

So the only problem that remains is What happened with the Law of Moses?

How I see it.

The law of Moses, or the OLD Covenant, is left intact, in the Word of God, not a jot or tittle to be trifled with by man in any way shape or form. It is to be for

2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
2 Timothy 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been
assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

The old Covenant is like being married to someone who has died. You never forget them and all they taught you, but you are no longer "bound" by their laws. You have been set free of their "reigning" over you.

The new Covenant is THE new Husband. It is now His commands you are bound to, that you abide in. You could not have married the new husband unless the old one had died. If he had still been alive, it would be an Adulterous relationship as put forth so well by Paul in

Romans 7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

Romans 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

Romans 7:3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

Romans 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to HIM who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Romans 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

Romans 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Romans 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

What is another difference? We do not abide to the letter of the law, BUT TO
" THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH OF GOD"
THAT THOSE COMMANDS ARE CONVEYING TO US.

We don't only "not murder" we stop ourselves with the help of the Spirit, from even thinking or pondering such evil thoughts, because that is what "the spirit of the law" or the truth of "what God is looking for when He will search the thoughts and intents of our inner man".

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Hebrews 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Is Paul in Romans 16:4 thanking them, the churches, for preserving him? And as the Apostle to the Gentiles, so called them that at that time?
