Nothing can be plainer. God gifted us salvation. But in the end the only thing we take with us is our works.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Certainly rightly dividing the word of truth so you wont be deceived into thinking that "works" are no necessary.

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints, here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, AND DO LOTS OF WORKS
1 Corinthians 15:10
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

2 Corinthians 3:5
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,

Philippians 2:13
for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

You worry about your works, and we will trust God to work through us....mmmkay?

I don't think just them.

You can find a ton of guys, LEGALISTS, like this one who think something like this: No need to name him.

"Through a series of thoughtful conversation, experimentation, and prayer, this is what I’ve come to be convicted about: I stopped drinking caffeine so that my body could be more full of the Holy Spirit."

I never heard of anyone besides Mormon, that don't drink COFFEE. Makes me feel like I have lived a protected life. One Church even allowed Coffee in the Sanctuary, but it usually is only in Kitchen, and fellowship hall.

Hi D...
What about people who are so disabled , can`t walk or do lots of work , what about the thief on the cross...
What about the people who Christ saves when they are on their deathbed , that have not done good works , where do they stand in Gods grace...

I see something with the thief on the cross , he reminds me of those on their deathbed , BELIEVING in Jesus Christ as their Savior......

Those people would be saved.

I have never met anyone who teaches salvation by feeding the poor, or any other works of righteousness which we have done. Our job is to repent and believe the Gospel. This can be done, being disabled or unable to walk will not prevent this from taking place. God is the one who searches the hearts of men.
Preaching repentance and faith is not works of the law being preached, but rather, biblical salvation.

I am sure my "The Coffee Roaster" will, where I buy my coffee, and I can highly recommend their KENYAN Coffee.

https://www.coffeeroasterlnk.com/

I tried a new coffee, that she warned me about, because it has MORE CAFFEINE in it, called - BLAST OFF!! BLEND. I had a cup about an hour ago, and there is noticably more caffeine in it. It is not as good tasting as KENYAN, but if you like coffee with more of a kick to it, try:
BLAST OFF!! BLEND. If you click on their side, then on the top row Click on SHOP, and it way down at the bottom.

We were talking about are all sins equal. I was pointing out some are much more serious than others thats all. Like child abuse, idolatry, astrology and destroying the planet that we are stewards over.
I can't recall where I said that all sins are equal.

As a child who was sexually abused, thrown out at 14 by my mother and fostered by a Christian and sexually abused by him.

Further more I was sexually abused at a young age by a cousin and an uncle.

So I understand the seriousness of sin and that some are more serious than others.
Given the consequences of said sins.

However for me when Jesus died on the cross the more serious sins were forgiven and those who come to Jesus having committed said sins are forgiven. As a result God does not judge them as he did in the O.T

As for those who on judgement day who have committed such sins I have no idea whether they will be judged more harshly.

Do you get why I make that stance migo?

A question based upon the following statement.

The following is God's order and a beeakdown of the way it lays out in the O.T....

LAW <--the big 10

Statutes <--division of big 10 into sub categories with qualifying conditions and or circumstances

Judgements <----the judicial ruling based upon the law broken and extinuating circumstances

The questions and why?

Are there different punishments aforded under the judgements for a broken law or statute? Yes

Why?

Do not misunderstand me if you are brother...sin is sin and I fully understand that.....my point is simply the above....the reason for different punishments under the law is because of how God sees the injustice, crimality, wickedness, malice and or motive behind our breach of the law. Some sins are MORE grieveous due to the above in God's eyes and worthy of special attention even though they are sins nonetheless....

God even MAKES PROVISON in the law for the following and that is my point....

If a woman with child loses the child due to an accident by a man, a financial price was to be offered for that child.

If a woman with child loses a child due to malice or injury on purpose by another man under the law eye for an eye

Law ->>>murder = intent and malice

Statute -->Conditional clause death by accident = no motive

Judgements
Murder = death
Accidental death = financial payment

Anyway....hope you understand where I am coming from....
I understand what you are saying and I know the consequences of such in the O.T and how God viewed it.

My concern was with the quote you made

I hear ya, and like you my friend from across the pond, I came from a crappy background by the LORD of heaven and earth being a Father to the fatherless......I fully agree that it is a sin, and fully agree it is covered under grace, however.....there are two, maybe three grieveous sins that draw a special scrutiny from GOD. ONE THING HE ABSOLUTELY despises and that which HE will judge, are those guilty of shedding innocent blood.........!!
My concern I addressed in the following post

Be careful.
As you know we are saved by grace through faith.

Yet what you have said above may cause an issue for those who do not get grace if they read the above.
No problem with what you said bro, in fact if we look at the O.T law there is actually a lot of grace in it, even in recompense for accidental sin.

So my friend, I love my brother from another mother.

Just want to ask a question if you do not mind.
It has arisen from your responses to my posts.

On judgement day will God judge those have not placed their faith in Jesus and have committed the more sins more harshly than those who have not?

That's our big boy coffee making machine above.
Not sure why it's sideways.

Bean grinder.
Makes lots of different coffee related drinks.

It cost a lot but it paid did itself within a year.
We used to have a coffee pod machine.
Expensive and a lot of plastic waste.

I try to limit my coffee.
I loved a strong black coffee, but to much sends my heart all over the place.
