and if Dcontroversial felt it was off toic to clear up that Grace is the influence of God to do the work off God, what then?

"I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Philipians 3:14
Are you saying that only Paul gets the prize?

"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize."
The prise, "Christ in you the hope of glory (Resurrection)."
Not all believers have part in the first Resurrection.

"Isaw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended). This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years."
Grace is not an external influence...it is a POSITION that believers are afforded and placed into by the faith that Christ INITIATES, FINISHES AND COMPLETES.....

NOAH found GRACE in the eyes of the LORD....FAITH initiated the construction of the ARK.....HEBREWS makes this clear

In the GRACE WE ARE having been saved BY FAITH-->Ephesians

In the GRACE WHEREIN WE NOW STAND --> Romans

This delusional view of grace you peddle is not found in scripture....FAITH is what initiates our response....NOT GRACE.....!

and how many times did I ask you about your teachings on the Law and the Sabbath, and you never addressed it?

and then, when you were openly teaching it , and I addressed it again, you STILL blew it off.

seems to me some people have no concept on being honest and straightforward.

did Jesus not highlight Nathanael by saying … in which there is no deceit"?

so, maybe, Instead of trying to keep the Law of Moses, one would do better to strive for that goal.
Good luck.......Nolightsaber must surrender to faith and the truth before his eyes will be opened....a faith, works, law keeping blend = the many group that will not make the cut according to Jesus and Galatians, Romans, Hebrews, Ephesians and on and on and on

Your first sentence makes no sense

the letter was written to hebrews, saved and unsaved.

shared in the Hs does not prove one is saved, anyone who goes to churches, saved or unsaved, shares in the Hs.
Well I am sad you do not see it, because the book of Hebrews will really open up once one understands that author is addressing believers who were facing extreme persecution and they were willing to abandon and did abandon the sacrifice of Jesus for the old.
sacrifices.

"None of these things move me, neither do I count my life dear to myself that I may finish my course with Joy.
My favorite verse, "Count it all Joy, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for tgis is the Wiill of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

Exactly why you will never be right......opposing truth tooth and nail will not help you make the grade pal!

No conjecture... it is you that is not digging deep enough into the written expression of the writer that is far different than any other writer in the New Testament.

As well you are missing the entire context of the purpose of the letter, written to Saved Hebrews returning to the old system of sacrifice.
I agree with the fact that it is written to Hebrew believers desiring to go back under an inferior way.

It is pure evil :(

I can barely stand to read some "worker" posts ... always goes like this...

"Of course my works will not save me, I agree completely, BUT they keep me saved"
I despise any dogma that devalues Jesus, his works, his power his promises while lifting self....any and all gospels that include works, law keeping or religious hoop jumping to embellish salvation in any way, shape or form = no power to save a flea, much less a man!

Thank you :):)... there is much personal stuff attached to Hebrews for me, and so I have been very diligent to understand it well.
