I think it is very troubling for you that you still want me to educate you on "sound doctrine"?
Didn't you have to attend Catechism before you knew the "sound doctrine?" Of course you did. So why are you resisting showing it to others?

I do not know, nor am I, "Inspiritintruth". You seem so paranoid.
I put an agree on this and retracted but I prefer to clarify because I do not agree completely... I do think you are a RC troll and I do not @PennEd is paranoid ...that is just comical.

I’ve not read through the other posts, so forgive me if anyone else had said this.

The following comes to mind in answer to the original post.

Matthew 22:12-14 NLT
[12] 'Friend,' he asked, 'how is it that you are here without wedding clothes?' But the man had no reply. [13] Then the king said to his aides, 'Bind his hands and feet and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' [14] "For many are called, but few are chosen."

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 NLT
[16] Don't you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? [17] God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.

It’s not our theology which saves us. It certainly didn’t save the Pharisees. It’s Jesus who saves us and we are sealed by the Holy Spirit.

It matters not whether you are a master mind and a professor of theology, a 5 year old child, an elderly lady with dementia or even someone with a brain injury. Theology does not save you!

Can I just say as well
what is the definition of theology-isn’t that a man made term.

Wisdom and theology are two different things.

Wisdom is from the Holy Spirit.
Speaking of which - did King Solomon have good theology or was his wisdom a gift. If a gift who gave him that gift.

I will give you a hint. Solomon did not get a theological degree from any man made university.

You are correct, the doctrine of salvation is to believe all sound doctrine of Jesus Christ. (y):)
Rubbish.

Ghandi believed to doctrine of Christ but it did not save him.

“I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”

Salvation on account of Jesus is not based on doctrine, its based on faith and faith alone.

No where did Jesus say you would be saved by doctrine.

Post verses to say he did say that.

Walk trough the valley
I have been smoked out as a theologically correct believer in Jesus Christ.
babes in Christ quarel. Neither does Jesus exoect us to be corect as we can not know God as we should. "If any man thinks he kowa he doesent know as he should, but if anyone Loves God the same is known of Him." If we think we know we stop learing. Being desoised and rejecred is also part of our learning; just as It hapoened to Joseph. Does that fit in your view of beingg teologicaly corect?
1John 2:12 addresses 3 steps of maturity in Christ:

1: Little children who are forgiven; Becoming a disciple we follow Christ in our understanding but until we are immersed in the Love of God, are unable to get past ourselves to enter the Wisdom of God.

2: In fellowship with the Father as friends, “Strive to enter in at the Straight Gate for many shall seek to enter in and shall not be able.” Past what we think we know in understanding to ascend in the Wisdom of God and nurture His children. "Lord you know all things, you know I Love you as a friend.' 'Then feed my sheep." "We will give ourselves to Prayer and the ministry of the Word."

3: Those who overcome the world, "I have written to you young men because you are strong and know the word of God dwells in you and have overcome the evil one." Those who followed Him in His suffering and death have been changed to Love as God Loves. "If we suffer with Him we shall rule with Him."

These steps of maturity are seen in the life of Joseph as 3 different coats of identity.

1: From interpreting in understanding and suffering rejection and betrayal. We face this first dark night of loss of identity unprepared and against our will: like the disciples in the garden of Gethsemane, they fell asleep; like the foolish and wise virgins, they slumbered and slept. "I laid me down and slept, I awaked for the Lord sustained me."

2: To emerge as a servant of no reputation in care of everything in the house: this coat is left willingly to escape the pleasures of sin and remain as a friend of God.

3: The night of the spirit: the dark night of losing our life, to emerge in the Will of God and proclaim His deliverance.

Then you fall foul of what Jesus commanded.

Go make disciples.

Its also posible that having wisdom as a gift caused Him to lose sight of the Giver of wisdom and relying on the gift: there is no mention of Solomon repenring of idolizing forein woman.

Jesus only built 1 Church; I am a member of the Matthew 16:18 Church.
So you are a member of the church, the rock Peter?

The same Peter who had to be corrected by God because his doctrine was incorrect (pre/post the resurrection) and had a fallout with Paul concerning doctrine

A correct believer in Jesus Christ should believe correct theology.; which correct theology would you like to learn more about?
Not yours for sure because I can't see you detailing what it is.
I'm glad I don't go to your church.
If my thoughts are correct I'm glad that I left the church that I went to as it was the same church you go to.

Personally it doesn't bother me that I may not be "theologically correct". Whatever that means.
i think that not caring whether your understanding and belief about the things of God are true or not is a pretty terrible state of affairs.

perhaps someone can tell me whether my thought is theologically correct or not .. ?
