I could be wrong, but having had a quick shifty at the posts of sound doctrine man I can't see any quotes or posts when it comes to the words of Jesus in the flesh.

There is a lot of sound doctrine in his words.

As I mentioned before. The third servant had been given a talent according to his ability and the opportunity to believe and bear fruit in accordance, but chose to reject it by burying his talent in the ground.

((seems like i generally agree with both you & @Judges1318 about the worthless lazy servant, too :)))

____:

i suspect he wasn't just rejecting the sum of gold, he was trying to steal it

Yes but all scripture is inspired......it would not matter what verse @JadenS pulls out of context....since Catholicism has never understood the scripture.

And now grace and peace are mine in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has given me everything I need for life and godliness through my knowledge of Him who called me by His own glory and goodness. Through these, He has given me His very great and precious promises, so that through them I may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. 2 Peter 1:2-4

I love what grace does! I love how salvation changes the life of those who believe.
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
(2 Peter 1:2-4)
grace and peace are in the knowledge of God. it's not what grace does, it's His divine power in knowledge of Him.
knowledge of Jesus the LORD is eternal life. to know Him, and who sent Him ((John 17:3))
He has given us life and holiness through knowledge of Him. that is salvation; Christ is Salvation - Him revealing Himself to the soul of a man, that he might know Him.

knowing isn't a physical event or action. knowledge is a mental, spiritual quality. the spiritual informs and expresses in the physical, but the physical does not effect the spiritual. the flesh profits nothing; the Spirit gives life ((John 6:63)).
if Salvation is in knowledge of Christ Jesus, and knowledge is not of the flesh but of the spirit, then likewise salvation is not of works, but of faith: the substance & evidence of that which is unseen.

may it be made manifest! but God was not absent simply because His body was hid in a tomb ;)

Instead of asking me what the sound doctrine of Jesus Christ is, you actually have to believe the sound doctrine of Jesus Christ.
does this sound doctrine you speak of include failing to disclose what it is? Jesus at least gave parables, teaching His doctrine .. ?

It's like hanging onto a guard rail overhanging a cliff. You don't fear falling because the guard rail is there. But you're holding onto the railing because you don't want to fall. Get it?
Christ didn't throw Himself down not because His foot would be dashed if He did, but because you shall not put the LORD to the test.

I love how grace revolutionized my life, nature and conduct. Grace changed my heart and is seen throughout our family. We love what His grace has done and continues to do, day after day.

"I love how salvation changes the life of those who believe. Now that we have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God the benefit we reap leads to holiness - the result of which is eternal life. Romans 6:22

Once I was alienated from God and was an enemy in my mind, as shown by my evil behavior. Col.1:21. But then the grace of God came to me and I was born again."

Beautiful. The grace to follow Him, setting Him before us continually and no longer stray. He is the Good Shepherd.

[26] For if we sin wilfully after having the knowledge of the truth, there is now left no sacrifice for sins, [27] But a certain dreadful expectation of judgment, and the rage of a fire which shall consume the adversaries. [28] A man making void the law of Moses, dieth without any mercy under two or three witnesses: [29] How much more, do you think he deserveth worse punishments, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath esteemed the blood of the testament unclean, by which he was sanctified, and hath offered an affront to the Spirit of grace? [30] For we know him that hath said: Vengeance belongeth to me, and I will repay. And again: The Lord shall judge his people.
Unless your righteousness exceeds that of the Scribes and Pharisees.....

All I once held dear, built my life upon
All this world reveres, and wars to own
All I once thought gain I have counted loss
Spent and worthless now, compared to this
Knowing you, Jesus
Knowing you, there is no greater thing
You're my all, you're the best
You're my joy, my righteousness
And I love you, Lord
Now my heart's desire is to know you more
To be found in you and known as yours
To possess by faith what I could not earn
All-surpassing gift of righteousness
Oh, to know the power of your risen life
And to know You in Your sufferings
To become like you in your death, my Lord
So with you to live and never die

You cannot earn salvation... eternal life is present possession in this verse, the result of belief ...not for the future

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.—Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.—For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

He should really think on that ... but I doubt he gets it.
