this is a classic example of why prevention is better than cure.
Before i sound superior, I admit there are a number of mistakes I made in the past where i paid the price.
one example : my first year of teaching kids I thought being their friend at the start of the year was a good idea. Within a month or two they were walking all over me.

do you read the Bible to your children or give them books to read? even if you cant take them to church, at least pray with them or show them the Bible. Bedtime is a good time.

Hello to all members!
I am new in this forum , and I started to discover this forum just now that I need a light 💡 in my life . My name is Klara and I am Christian from 2011. I love the God and he has done many miracles on my life , I am greatful for all he has done on my life . 8 years ago I married to my actual husband (not the same religion as me) and we have 2 children , 3 and 2 years old .During our marriage he was practicing his religion and I was beliving on our savior Jesus there was no problem between us for the religion .i stayed strong on my religion even if I lived in places that Christianity isn’t for them a religion. Now I am struggling cuz I have 2 children and I want them to be Christian as me but my husband (different religion) saying that the children will take his religion . I don’t know how to help my children to teach them for Christianity and Jesus Christ , I can’t even take them to church as my husband is telling me “if u take them to church I will take them to the place where I go to pray as well “so pls what advice can give me ? As I noticed lately my husband started to do his ritual of pray Infront of my children everywhere they are he is going beside them and he is praying Infront of them even if it is too much noise around the room area where my children is playing, i belive he is doing this on purpose but I can’t tell him anything for why he is doing that . Please any advice for me to keep my children on my religion ? I feel so alone as I am in this situation all alone and don’t know what to do to direct my children’s to Christianity .pls advice
Hi Klara, Stop fretting, put on confidence while you train yourself not to fret, our king is the King of Kings .. Jesus has not given you a spirit of fear but of victory.. Stand and take it back a little every day in a meek and gentile spirit but don't take no crap in your spirit .. Faith from right now on in God's will . You're on an adventure and mission, grow strong, expect miracles every day .. It yours and Jesus plan that will not give up .. Fast , pray and win him for the Lord in spirit , the Lord says ''Be still and know I am God'' .. It could take a while, who knows, but you have enough at stake to be determined to take it all in Jesus name .. If he is reasonable you could educate yourself in the Word and also the nonsense in the Qu'ran and other Muslim works .. Ask questions and try to have answers ready as time goes ,try not to argue or ridicule to much .. God Bless and Welcome .. Remember , even though your mission is for your family , you will benefit too .. Thank Jesus now for what you want and expect in faith and may Jesus grant your hearts desire ..

Pray for your husband to know the Lord Jesus as his Saviour but don't nag him about it, be very wise and keep trusting. You are in a difficult situation. Read in the Bible about what it says in this situation, in 1 Peter 3 verses 1-6, 1 Corinthians 7:14. Encourage and strengthen yourself in the Lord and the Bible, also get other Christians and especially your Pastor praying for you and him, if you can. This is a spiritual battle and your husband won't realise that spiritual powers will try to cause trouble, but the Bible tells us God is greater. Keep asking God to lead you, and for wisdom... and keep loving and trusting God.
With love x

Thank you for your advice . My husband religion I can’t change it, as he is as the old tree roots ,but I want to save my children, I pray , but again I feel with no power at all . What is worse that is hurting me is that I can’t teach my children to pray and to talk for Jesus cuz somehow they will show it to my husband . I feel like I am hiding and this is a feeling that I don’t want to feel cuz I really proud and happy to have Jesus on my heart . I want to sing song of God to my children’s and to sing with them but I can’t .
Ask God to baptise you in His Spirit, pray in the Spirit for your husband and children-allow God to work-He can do it, you cannot, unless He works through you and if that happens you will know because he way will be made and maybe one day your husband will be even asking you how can he know Jesus. Don't be discouraged but keep your eyes on the Lord, trusting with all of your heart....
Philippians 4 v6-7 be led by the Spirit then you will have a quiet spirit and not be stressed.... keep loving them all.... this is what the Bible tells us to do.... just see what God does... rest in Him xx

Are you able to read a book called Chasing the Dragon by Jackie Pullinger. I have found this book so encouraging and after reading it and following the example of the lady who wrote it, I actually had an unbeliever ask me how could she know this Jesus that I was talking about!!🤗🙏🏻👌

God was right . Just now I understand this that I am a mother .
Not marrying unbelievers is a tenet in Islam as well.

It may serve you to find out what Islam says about who has primacy in raising the children in a mixed house.
Quran
verse 5:5
*word by word translation

verse 2:221
*verse word translation

Advising you to pray for your husband and children is splendid. However, you may wish to reflect on how devout you know your husband to be. I'd say not all that strict in that he knowingly married what the Quran calls a polytheist, a Christian. That may help you. However, I would suggest if his family is long lived as you say, rooted in the tradition, that you may wish to learn for yourself what it would mean to his family, him, and you and your children, were he to become Christian and thus turn Apostate. (resource links for your consideration)

God be with you.

I can’t send them to church , I can’t read them the Bible , I can’t tell them anything for my religion cuz if I do that my husband will do the same with his religion and I don’t want my children to even put the feet on other place rather then church . I did mistake to marry my husband, now I want to find way to save my Children to belive and to have in their heart our savior.

Thank you for all your words . I really appreciate it. I even if I married to my actual husband ( and I never mention his religion as I don’t consider at all ) beside our God , I always was stron and faithful to my God to my savior, only to him , I was staying strong in my belive even I lived in difficult places I am happy I am Christian and I always sailed that to every one to every place even if I wasn’t welcomed . I pray but my children are watching often the father doing his rituals of pray and I can’t help my children if they see him doing that . Cuz they copy him as they think for it as a game .i don’t want to leave them without father but for me is more important that my children to believe to our savior.

In the place that I live no books for Christians . For a long time I can understand that if I stay only with my children’s I will be free to teach them , to sing songs for God , to read books to them . This means that I will feel guilty from the other side that my children will not have both parents and sure they love their father . He is trying to do his max as a father but in the matter of religion he is not accepting my children to be Christians . I belive it is sin to go through the divorce just for the religion even if isn’t what I want , but to me the word of god is the food for my soul and the light of my life . And I want to be same for my children.

In the same way, you wives, be submissive to your own husbands so that even if any of them are disobedient to the word, they may be won without a word by the behavior of their wives,

It seems like you are going to have to be very wise in this situation you are in....if the children know you are secretly praying for their Dad, they will hopefully one day comprehend the situation as you do and pray with you for him....keep trusting God in your heart; do not look at the circumstances, do not worry but instead pray and then trust God with all your heart, then you will be able to show God's love to your husband through the way you are. God can do it by His Spirit, don't push it with him, it will make it worse for you and the children. God loves you and your family- He knows and He cares- He is an ever-present help in time I feel trouble. Keep yielding to God.
The Bible says for us to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves xx

THank you so much . I am feeling blessed to belive in Jesus .
I can't imagine being in your situation but I've been in situations that there was deep trouble which ever way I turned .. With prayer and fasting I've seen those troubles just break up and clear out all at once , like bad storm clouds one minute then broke up and gone the next and I didn't do anything, it was all Jesus doing .. Until the next time lol then you do it all again .. But we keep gaining faith and maturity in Christ as you know .. Jesus is the author of our salvation, He will never leave us or forsake us is His promise to us .. Without a vision the people perish and a smoldering fire He will not extinguish .. Have a great day ..
