Salvation ain’t about us. It is about glorifying Him in all we do and say in this Sabbath rest religion has rejected.
Salvation is trusting in Jesus for the gift of eternal life, we receive the gift by believing upon Him and the completed work He did on our behalf.... which is apart from any and all of our own works.

There is no self in salvation it wholly and completely the work of Jesus.... your job is to accept is and believe it to be true for you.

It is a gift

I quote @dcontroversal

Jesus was born, lived and died under the law which ratified the new Covenant I suggest you get on your knees and get right with God....he preached, walked and talked the LAW which had conditional BLESSING because HE had to satisfy the REQUIREMENTS of the law IN order to be a SINLESS sacrifice while taking the sins of the whole world upon his shoulders....and exactly WHY the righteousness of CHRIST is IMPUTED to us and PUT to our account by FAITH

You shall be like God and you will also violate His Word. The same lie Satan has always used ever since Genesis 3.

Yours is the “gospel” I came up in “church” under. It kept me a slave to sin by God’s own definition. In darkness, I had no clue what the Kingdom of God was. I had no real use for the Holy Spirit. I was not a son God for I was not being led by His Spirit. I had “accepted Jesus in to my heart” but I wasn’t born again. O, but I was going to heaven just like everyone else in that building on Sunday morning. We were houses built on sand - we called Him ‘Lord, Lord, but we did not do what He said. We weren’t His disciples for we had not denied ourselves nor did we abide in His Word. We were uncircumcised in heart. The leaven remained. Our bible was about 24 pages long. We were modern American Christians. But Jesus didn’t come to start Christianity. He came to baptize us with the Holy Spirit.

As it is written, “In every nation whoever fears Him and does what is right is accepted by Him.” He inspires us to fear Him so that we will never turn away from Him.

In these days Christians have no king; everyone does as he sees fit. Jesus Christ is Lord, bless His holy name. Salvation ain’t about us. It is about glorifying Him in all we do and say in this Sabbath rest religion has rejected.
Get your eyes of churches and denominations... everything you write about has to do with being better than mainline Christianity ... that is not the Gospel either.

Since when is trusting Jesus with all our being a violation of God’s Word?
Exactly.. trade one false gospel for another.
Is there anybody out there anymore that can present the Gospel correctly.

Surely a sign of the times.... thankfully we know God will always have His remnant!

If the word 'sanctified' in Hebrews 10:29 is used to describe saved people who lost their salvation as you teach, then we have a contradiction because the writer of Hebrews in verse 10 said "sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all" (Hebrews 10:10) and in verse 14, we read, "perfected for all time those who are sanctified." (Hebrews 10:14)
It's only a contradiction in your doctrine because once saved always saved says the 'once for all' sanctification means you can't lose it. But the context is showing us 'once for all' means the sacrifice does not have to be repeated as it had to be under the old system. Which is the exact reason we who believe and trust in it are told not to abandon our confidence in such a great hope.

So you have to actually physically leave to show that you never believed and have only been a fake believer.
I'm pretty certain your once saved always saved argument has been all along that it refers to the person who no longer believes, not the person who physically leaves. That's how you've been interpreting Hebrews 3:6 & 14......you know, the passages where you say continued believing shows you are really saved. (Which, by the way, I hope you addressed the issue I raised with the aorist verb in that passage).
Whats the issue with the AORIST VERB?

I HATE "the greek" with its verb tenses and things. I've spoken abuot that with the broskis on here before and I will always stick to my view no matter how many times im told its wrong: NUTS to the greek, i dont care about it. Show it to me from an ENGLISH bible, or any other bible language that I actually speak.
There is no "the greek" there are many greek texts, and I dont feel like im COMPETENT enough to correct the translators of those bibles.

I hear "in the greek" and I close my ears already Nanananaa cant hear you. Reason: I dont speak greek and be honest NEITHER DO YOU or anyone else on here im sure, go buy yourself a plane ticket to greece and order a meal, try to hold a conversation with the local population, if you can do so, I'll listen to your expertise, if not, IM NOT IMPRESSED!

This scripture: Hebrews 10v29. Lets put it up again. Little babes could understand it:

29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

No amount of contortionist act will be able to overcome what is plainly written there.
your problem is vs 26

it says if we sin willfully after we recieved.

it never said we entrusted or enacted on it, only that we recieved it. And notice the context, the context is the law. Under the law, one sin causes one to be guilty of the law.
now imagine if we received the gospel of grace, yet trampled it by rejecting it? That will cause us to receive a far greater punishment, then people who never received the word.

there are so many passages to get into. We do not make a gospel truth out of one verse.

Maybe I will help you with the context.....

38 Now the just shall live by faith;
But if anyone draws back,
My soul has no pleasure in him.”
39 But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.
compair and contrast the two

they drew back why? They are not of the group WE, who actually believed to the saving of the soul, meaning we are not of the group of those who draw back.

those who draw back were never saved,

it’s quite clear

1 Peter 1v13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; 15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
This is not a loss of salvation passage,

this is a sanctification passage not justification

it helps when you are able to see the difference

There are plenty. I have just posted above what happens to those who draw back.
Yet there are many passage which tell us true believers will not draw back.

John says they were never of us.
if they were never of us (those who believe to the saving of the soul) they were NEVER SAVED!

Jesus doesnt drag you into heaven kicking and screaming against His Word. P.S. have you red v21 again?
Lol
this is funny

jesus does not have to drag you to heaven

we go willingly

because we have truly repented

god knows the difference between people who have true faith and those who merely believe, yet have no trust or faith.

he said we are saved by FAITH, not mere belief, true faith acts,

I suspect if the apostles Peter and James were commenting on this forum, you would accuse them of being works salvationists. For it is their scriptures you kick against.
Nope

because neither preaches works As a means of eternal life,

James would be called a heretic for these statements:

8 If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well; 9 but if you [e]show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors. 10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty. 13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
Nope

he stated a fact.

if you keep the whole law, yet stumble in only one point, your guilty

meaning not one person living on earth can claim they keep the law. We are all ( yes you too) sinners, condemned by the law as transgressors, the penalty of sin, which is death

which means apart from grace, you, myself and every one I. Christian chat are sinners, worthy of hell, and better recieve Jesus gift of salvation before its to late

what saddens me is people like you who believe you somehow are good enough, and judge people because they openly admit what James said, we are sinners worthy of hell. Praise god for his son and salvation.

James 2v21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?

Q1) Did he offer Isaac on the altar BEFORE or AFTER he believed in God?
Q2) If after, how could Abraham be justified by Works when he offered Isaac on the Altar?
Abraham was justified decades before he offered his son

you should have known this if you studied.

james claims Abraham’s faith before men is justified, because he had works. Unlike people james confronted who CLAIMED to have faith, but had no works. Ie dead faith

news flash mere belief (Dead faith) never saved anyone, never will licentiousness is just as powerless as legalism in saving a soul eternally a James was fighting a licentious gospel. Which is why he APPEARS to be contradicting Paul in Rom 4, where paul stated abraham was justified by faith apart from works, otherwise, he could save himself, because paul was preaching against a different type of false teacher, the legalist, who claimed we must work to earn salvation by your good works or deeds.

Except me. I have sinless perfection..

You too can attain sinless perfection IF you do these 3 things:

1. LOVE orange kitties.

2. EAT chocolate.

3.DRINK coffee..

It's not even an issue with the verb so much as it is the mood of the verb.

It's easy to confirm for even us non-Greek speaking people that the verb 'hold' in hold fast is in the subjunctive mood. In simple terms that means the holding fast being spoken about may or may not continue. And yet it is this holding fast, that may or may not continue, upon which being made a partaker of Christ is based. < what the.... o_O>

That completely destroys the argument from Hebrews 3:14 that once saved always saved says is there. It interprets it to mean your never ending holding fast is the result and proof of having partook of Christ. Problem: The believing being spoken about there is not the holding fast that doesn't end!

Check it out for yourself. You don't need a Greek geek to help you see what I'm saying.

See my point? Thats what your doctrine amounts to, when you lop off an entire part of the bible, it no longer makes sense.
Says the one who will not even look at other verses, we will see if you responded to my verses
