Not sure exactly what you mean but If the constitution Is to be followed then he qualifies to be Impeached otherwise we should change the constitution.
I seriously doubt that he can be from candidacy by the election in 2020 or removed from office before 2021 The Constitution seems to have become stuck in time like the Amish. It wasn't written by God but by rebels some of whom were Freemasons or Desists that denied the almighty's hand in human affairs, Far from being born again, New Testament believing folks we have read about within the Epistles and Acts.

That being stated what's wrong with remodeling it from the horse and buggy days when representatives delivered the local preferences for election results to the congress, By horse and buggy or on horseback. I would think that as a mainly Protestant nation we would recognize that dogma and traditions practiced by the RCC were the reformation was needed. It led to the Bible being re-translated. What's wrong with Changing the Constitution? It isn't sacred and it did leave room for change.

I clearly see us dividing to the same Psychotic, 'us vs them' mentality that fueled McCarthyism when I was born. A group psychosis and national paranoia.

God chose David for Israel
And Saul to punish it for wanting a King, rather than obeying God's word. David avoided Saul. In fact he had opportunity to slay him but only took a slice of his robe. The impeachment procedure, and the way it's being done, will not keep us united!

Are there any Davids' running for office?

Yeah, I’m not particularly optimistic about the ability of a culture that can’t figure out where to go to the bathroom to remodel the constitution (or translate the Bible for that matter).

It was just rhetoric any. The politicians in charge are to well intrenched and have to much to lose to make or allow any changes in any real time. It took a generation to go from Social Security to medicare for senior citizens. That was a small step. I think many in power would rather debate about doing anything than sharpen their pencils, gat out their 10 keys and act like professionals.

Ask Yahoo; (Q) Why do conservatives hate change? (A) Their nature is to hate change; hence the term Conservative meaning to Conserve the present and fight against change under the guise that everything is fine just the way it is.

I think it goes a bit beyond that. At the root of that liberal view is the idea that humanity is basically good and can progress on to better things. At the root of the conservative view is the idea that humanity is a fallen and imperfect species and that because of this power should be decentralized. As the saying goes, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Maybe just a tiny bit biased, don't you think?

"Government is a vehicle through which the citizens of a democracy can solve problems and improve the well-being and happiness of most people."

First, this is a republic, second the gov. doesn't bring happiness, nor does it solve problems. That is the people, that people do that. That POV is a socialist/communist POV. The gov. does not bring well-being and happiness, it wasn't created for that. Very dangerous to think that way.

"Conservatives see the world as a challenging place in which there is always someone else who is ready to steal your lunch. Confronted by a potentially hostile environment, the best course is to take precautions and to ensure your own well-being and that of your family."

Conservatives put gov. in it's place. It's to be limited, it's not suppose to create jobs and make the people happy. Conservatives use gov as a tool. They value their rights. That's what the country was founded on, God given, not gov given rights. When you give your happiness and rights over to the gov, then comes the problem. Yes, you take precautions, had the Jews understood that they could be herded into trains and tortured and murdered by their own gov't they would have made sure it would never happen... oh wait!! Never trust your rights to the gov. any gov. !!!

I didn't write the preamble to the constitution. But I had to memorize it to graduate elementary school! Part of the reason I'm told that we cling to the second amendment is so if the Government becomes tyrannical, we the people can take it back! That my younger friend is the American way. No kings, no supreme leaders. They are accountable, to us.

For his time? Yes, I agree but things were different then. Like slavery in the New World was far from biblical. Deists didn't believe the power of the Holy Spirit and Freemasons were allowed to believe in any God they chose. It sort of reminds me of Alcoholics Anonymous. At least AA believes in spiritual experiences. If you don't believe it check out Appendices 2, A.A. Big Book.

Slavery is not good but it exists .. Paul gives instruction never the less .. Washington was a slave owner .. William Ellison was black and one of the more harsh slave breeder/owners in SC .. Freemasons also come in good and bad , like Jesuits .. I joined the Masons after I turned 21 and most all I knew were Christian , I wasn't, I just wanted to join to get to the Shriners to do those whacky shriner things .. Normally you have to be a descent person to get in , trustworthy and man of your word even good credit , they investigate and hold a trial/vote that must be unanimous to qualify .. One blackball for any reason and you don't get in .. I quit being an active member long ago, I don't need it ..
In Washington's day communication was primitive and being a Mason was valuable .. You could travel and identify yourself in a strange town and get help or help another knowing they have been approved in their home community and tested/tried in like manner worthy of trust and identified by secret code signs or words .. Washington was so popular it is my opinion that he wanted to keep his denomination secretive and state religion free or the whole country would have went after his .. He even surrendered his sword back to congress
Read excerpts from Washington's prayer diary/journal and try to claim he was only a deist, or some of his miracles, battles, decrees as General such as whippings for cursing in his army .. He considered taking the Lords name in vain as treason and possibly canceling the blessings of God .. Jefferson was a deist but even he recognized the value of Jesus teaching and as first head of dept of education chose the New England Primer as the first national textbook .. Check it out, you won't find anything like it in totays schools

That's all very interesting. I suppose upon how as individuals we what being a christian really means;

  1. Is the Bible the word of God?
  2. Was Jesus the word of God made into flesh?
  3. Is Jesus part Holy Trinity?
  4. Was he born of a Virgin?
  5. Did he preform miracles?
  6. Was he innocently crucified and die for our sakes?
  7. Was he Resurrected from the dead?
  8. Is he coming back for all who believe in him only, be they alive or dead?
  9. Is he God?
  10. Is the Holy Spirit real?
