Jesus said in John 6 we will never die
I trust him
John 6:47-51
I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life.
I am the bread of life.
Your forefathers ate the manna in the desert, yet they died.
But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which a man may eat and not die.
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."

The bread of Christ is to walk in His ways and trust in His forgiveness.
Amen that you do this, Praise the Lord

Salvation, properly understood, is actually about worshipping our Creator and not the safety of our rear ends.

It is analogous to those pushing a “prosperity gospel”. Prosperity is not the aim or what we grasp at. It is a byproduct.

Holding and abiding by the "K.I.S.S." concept? Could you break that down a little more for me?

This so so wrong.

God is not fickle....He gives eternal life and we are sealed with the Spirit... you know you malign/distort the very nature of God.
Matt 25:1-12
"At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.
The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.
The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
"At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'
"Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.
The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.'
"'No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.'
"But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
"Later the others also came. 'Sir! Sir!' they said. 'Open the door for us!'
"But he replied, 'I tell you the truth, I don't know you.'

This is how God is, "I don't know you"

Is this what you are calling fickle?
The problem is some are so addicted to security, they will sacrifice any other consideration on this altar of safety, not knowing this very sense of entitlement destroys their future reality with Christ.

You need to be clearer in what you mean. Many will kill others for their blasphemy etc. but what that actually is can get lost in all the anger. Stephen died for this very reason. Are you like these pompous, hypocritical teachers of the law ....... ?

This is the most Gospel denying statement I have read on this thread.

It pleased God to pronounce the plan of salvation in Genesis because of His love and mercy and you have the audacity to liken it to a prosperity Gospel and completely ignore the COST that He BORE upon Himself for our sake.

Are you serious.... I am not angry first of all...I am completely indignant how you nullify the cross and elevate your works.

I preach grace not law.

I field that question! If ya don't mind!
THESE people believed it was!
Matthew 7:23
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The answer to yer question is YES!
Salvation IS revocable!
If Jesus never knew them that means they never had salvation. Jesus doesn’t say I knew you however you lost your salvation, He says I never knew you.

Of course. We can become addicted to condemnation, and defeat, assuming all action is based on self justification.
When Jesus transforms us, His life is alive in our hearts, and springs forward in works of grace and love.

This is totally alien to some as they are consumed with justification because they cannot get around feelings of guilt for sin, and are bound by its grasp, rather than the knowing the glorious freedom and grace His blood and forgiveness brings to our souls.

Heb 10:22
let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

James 2:12-13
Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom,
because judgement without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgement!
I am. It addicted to condemnation. I am addicted to victory
I am just trying to warn the condemned to stop trying to save yourselves and fall to your knees

WHO NEEDS HOPE, when you have ETERNAL SECURITY!
Faith is all that's NEEDED!
Who needs the rest of the fruit of the Spirit, for that matter, when you have Eternal Security!

This is the problem with Eternal Security! The INCENTIVE TO GROW AND MATURE SPIRITUALLY!
For God so loved the world he gave his only son that whoever has incentive to grow and mature spiritually shall have everlasting life. Oh wait, that’s not what Jesus teaches us. My bad.

Amen, to preach Gods love and not condemnation.
"nullify the cross and elevate your works" is something I am unaware of.

The cross is about our sins being forgiven and knowing Gods love for us, the gate to receive the Holy Spirit.
Our works are the fruit of His work in our hearts to the praise of His glory and Kingdom.

All these things are 100% biblical and our calling. If you disagree you disagree with Gods revelation.

Col 1:13-15
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

Col 1:10-12
bearing fruit in every good deed, growing in the knowledge of God,
being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might for the display of all patience and steadfastness, joyfully
giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light.

Of course to the lost we are the fragrance of death

2 Cor 2:15-16
For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing –
to the latter an odor from death to death, but to the former a fragrance from life to life.

Lol ^^^

Matthew 7
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.L
We who proclaim the fullness of Jesus Christ bear good fruit. The difference between us and your camp is that we bear good fruit to the glory of God, not to falsely maintain our salvation.

Out of context drivel alert.....

He NEVER KNEW them...they were NEVER saved and lost it genius.....

and why....they believe the same false dogma that you and your pals peddle...faith PLUS for salvation
Yer still not "gettin' it", are ya "my little sherlock."

It's like you and "your pals" pedal some "hind sighted, denial" dogma...

This is why it can become so dangerous in giving too much information to "wanna be" followers of Christ!
The "stranger danger" of being "cut off", never realizing, and in OSAS domgas, not having to even "worry" about being "cut off!"

Here lemme give you that which you are either lacking, or willingly ignorant of concerning, and your putting "the cart before the horse", "twisting deniability" superstition.

We are seeing AFTER THE FACT that indeed, "my little sherlock" these ones didn't MAKE IT!
In your twisting deniability "wisdom of man", You FLAT OUT "Bet the farm", that these ones were never saved!

Here is perhaps "my little sherlock", where you may be able to help me out!

These ones Jesus "never knew?" In all liklihood? BEFORE THE FACT? TRULY BELIEVED THEY DID! And TAUGHT others to believe that VERY SAME THING!

Now you and all the other "little sherlocks", out there, or in here, can run around yelling and screaming and teaching, and mock and scoff till the cows come home, "THEY NEVER BELIEVED FROM THE START!" "THEY NEVER BELIEVED FROM THE START!!" (I've seen many in here who state this very thing)

The "evidence" of THAT, is written!

You are in DENIAL however, that these very same people?
ACTUALLY BELIEVED THEY DID!

My QUESTION to you, and ALL the little "sherlocks" out there?

"How do you spell "DELUSION?"

Perhaps "that" word isn't in your vocabulary?

Now you and all yer sherlock buddies?

Put that in yer little "bubble pipes", take a deep breath?

And BLOW!

Just what part of "believing a lie", do you NOT understand?

And how do you spell DELUSION?!?
