I scratch my head on aquatic life being destroyed by water.
I do not believe aquatic life was destroyed:

Genesis 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

man, beast, creeping things, fowl of the air.

Genesis 7:21-23 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.

only that which lived on dry land was destroyed.

thank you for posting. i agree. i meant to say something about that and cite the same passages, but i guess post forgot to post, with all the other posts post posted this afternoon. :)

Genesis 7:21-23 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. man.

how does someone read this, say the flood was only local, millions of people survived it, trillions of creatures.. how does a person say they believe scripture and say that? you can't say that and believe the scripture is accurate. you have to say the things written in it are wrong, that the Author of the Bible was confused and ignorant. that it's just folk tales.

even today of greens I only like green beans
The vitamins are heat soluble at 160 degrees. So I cook veggies in a slow cooker and then I can eat them. I like veggie soup, I just do not like to eat them raw. To cook food makes it more digestible. You get more nutritional out of cooked food compared to raw uncooked food. Even a part of evolutionary theory is that cooking food helped us to evolve as a species. We did not have to work as hard to extract the nutrition from the food.

There is no contradiction between Science and the Bible. MOST people can reconcile them. Our brain is designed to arrive at a logical conclusion when we study all the data. To many people study just science or just the Bible. You have to put a equal amount of time into Science, History and the Bible. God gives us all three. IT is amazing the fossils and all that he gives us to examine and study from the past so we can see what He did. He wants us to know what He has done.

God gives us a brain, gives us science, history and the Bible. If you read the scriptures he talks about wisdom: " By wisdom the LORD laid the earth's foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place" (Proverbs 3:19) This means that though wisdom and understanding we can know what God did when He laid the earths foundation. He wants us to understand. He wants us to give Him praise, honor and glory.

Yes I’ve heard that and you are correct for the most part, there are some Veges like broccoli they say are better eaten raw than cooked and others. I was reading alttle on that, and probably makes sense some are better cooked and some not depends on your diet and what your eating i guess

Cooking is crucial to our diets. It helps us digest food without expending huge amounts of energy. It softens food, such as cellulose fiber and raw meat, that our small teeth, weak jaws and digestive systems aren't equipped to handle. And while we might hear from raw foodists that cooking kills vitamins and minerals in food (while also denaturing enzymes that aid digestion), it turns out raw vegetables are not always healthier.

we know generations are skipped
I do not know that any generations are skipped and neither do you. Someone just told you that and you would rather believe them then to trust in God. I studied all of this personally for myself with science and history to verify my results and conclusions. So I have LOTS - MANY - checks and balances to verify my results and findings. Thousands of years ago Moses gave us the Torah and every generation has been able to verify what he wrote is accurate and true. We are able to do that just like all the people before us have been able to verify the Bible as accurate. Even though this has been a LOT more of a challenge for us today.

We are in the final harvest. People in the past have seen the time we live in and people in the future are looking back on us and on this time in the history of mankind. We have the Holy Spirit of God to be our comforter as we deal with all of the distress in the world today. We have the Holy Spirit of God to be our Guide and Teacher to lead us and Guide us into all righteousness. God Himself encourages us that we can do what He Created us to do and be the people that He Created us to be. There is no reason for us to wimp out when we are given all we have been given. We have an abundance of resources available to us.

If a person has a high IQ but emotionally wrecked they probably would have a hard time using that smartness.
That does seem to be an issue. I think that when the brain is damaged it has a funny way of repairing itself. A lot of people are talking about autism. Having to deal with it in their kids. It is not unusual for them to be smarter even if there is a degree of being dysfunctional. The absent minded professor syndrome and the nutty professor. The guy is brilliant but he has trouble to tie his shoes. Jerry Lewis did a lot to develop that character.

That’s true, but I was thinking of like being angry all the time or expressing emotions crying laughing the different ways to express them that is itself might be physical issue and not a behavioral issue. but normally aiming to be even keel kind of relax not being distracted by emotions which can be a distraction. Like the movie good will hunting

Write a book and we will read it in 500 years to see how accurate you were. When someone like Bishop Ussher is still popular after 500 years, then there is reason to pay attention to what he is saying. "The sins of some are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them." (1Timothy 5:24) What we do and what we say has to be able to stand the test of time. " rebuke the wise and they will love you." (Proverbs 9:8)

Sisters who become mothers even today carry a blood line from their father to their son. the generations in the Bible seems to be symbolic pointing out certain people for reasons some are mentioned in different books and the role, some are not mentioned but there are about 9 missing books of the OT so who knows they all might of been mentioned at some point but there are clearly scripture writings that are missing.

Actually the one getting laughed at is you. You think you can sit down and do nothing and make lots of money. You think you can reap without sowing any seed. "A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and need like a bandit." (Proverbs 6:10,11)
Proverbs 30:7-9
Two things I ask of you, LORD; do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, 'Who is the LORD?' Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.

All we need are the five books written my Moses and the Sermon on the Mount preached by Jesus (red letter scriptures). Everything else is commentary. God tells us about events that are going to take place in the future but no one adds to what we receive from Moses and Jesus.

My brother is a psychologist and he does testing & evaluations. At one point he was the director of the psychology debt at our local children's hospital. He feels confident in his ability to be able to determine what the problem is. He often feels there is nothing he can do to correct the problem. Although you hear talk about treatment programs. Often the issue is the child is disruptive and the school insists that the parent medicate the child or remove them from the school. My father was prescribing a LOT of Ritalin before he retired. The issue here is they paste a label on someone that can do more damage then good. They often have no cure or a solution to the issues. With God we have answers to every question and a solution to every problem we will ever have. If Science had answers and solutions then I would server Science. As it is only God has answers and solutions so I serve God. He may or may not use Science. He may or may not use people. That is all up to what He knows to be best for us. He shows us the way to obtain what we want and need in life. He knows what is best for us a lot better then we know. I tend to make a mess out of things and God always seems to get it right.

Here’s two missing books mentioned in the five Books of Moses.

Exodus 24:7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.

Not sure what happen in the brooks of Arnon anybody know?

Numbers 21:14 Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the Lord, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon,

This sounds odd sorry we don’t need to know all of the testimonies of the gospel except the sermon on the mount really forget knowing what happened on the skull mount?

No doubt if these books could be found that had info concerning the genealogies would have probably been a big help.

2 chronicles 12:15
Now the acts of Rehoboam, first and last, are they not written in the book of Shemaiah the prophet, and of Iddo the seer concerning genealogies? And there were wars between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually.
