I didn’t leave my wife. That was an example.

I wanted to see if people would get defensive about it, because I thought I DISCERNED something in your posts. And I was right
Well you could have just come out and ask me.

And what did you Discern then?

I was hoping you would see what I see. Jesus often used leading questions. So did Paul and James and others
Yes He held all Truth ....you do not.
And neither are we the apostles as @dcontroversal already stated.

Do you feel some sense of victory now....you really remind me a few former members.
Sad.

No, there was no victory for anyone. And I never brought new revelation.

1. There are professed believers who practice sin

2. There are some who profess they’re saved and are not

3. Those who are saved are eternally secure.

But the fact the question raised such controversy is speaks a lot.

No, I believe you and eleventh and Dcontroversal etc are saved. I never accused you of not being saved. Can’t be positive, but I would never say you’re not saved

I would not say the post about the rich young ruler applies to you, because i don’t suspect any besetting sin is keeping you out of the Kingdom. 😀

Yes and you are to expose us correct because you dogma of perseverance of the saint states a believer has no choice in the matter of sanctification.

And I am wise to your "professed believer" terminology.

A believer does not practice sin because Jesus within us does not practice sin...it is really a shame Mr Calvin made this error because his false understanding now permeates Churchianity....nuff said.

I am not being made righteous...only Jesus is righteous ...l walk in Him I exemplify Him...I walk in the flesh I exemplify the flesh...is this such a difficult truth concept?

The more we walk in the Spirit the less power/control of the flesh...again simple.

But no....you have to make sin the big issue rather being honest with scripture and agreeing with scripture that the believer who is practicing sin has a faith and grace issue.

I am done with you sir for now because life calls but I an intuitive person and you keep adding credence to my suspicions of who you are.

I don’t know why there is myself. It was a basic, simple question. It’s only controversial if you are insecure about your answer, imo

Here is where most Christians, forget what was taught about Controversy, which can be a sugar coated argument.

Titus 3:9 (NIV)
9 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels
about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless.

I’m not saying a person who lives such a lifestyle could not give their life to Christ. I’m not implying that’s what you’re saying either. Bottom line, if such a person gave their life to Christ at one time, God’s gift of grace is irrevocable.
well said bro
