If someone believes salvation can be lost, that doesn't necessary mean the person is an enemy of Christ. The person may very well believe in Jesus and his death on the cross and resurrection and have received him.
I disagree.....One gospel, if embellished it voids the gospel....if they believe they can lose it, they believe they must help maintain it in some form or fashion....that is a false gospel with no power to save....exactly why the number is PLENTEOUS that comes before the throne claiming Jesus as LORD (BELIEF) and expecting to enter based upon what they have DONE (SELF EARNED OR MAINTAINED) Jesus never KNEW THEM they were NEVER SAVED....the three clowns currently posting in this thread peddle this type of false dogma!

Oh gee, look what chimed in. Another self proclaimed pseudo intellectual who doesn’t know the first thing about the fullness and irrevocability of God’s grace.
Stooge number three.....he helps JEEZUS because Jesus cannot save to the uttermost and or is an inept weakling that cannot keep a man saved!

Agree... and how long have people tried to set them straight with the Gospel and still they continue on with the same ole tired argument not found anywhere in the Bible.

I also disagree. A lot of these Scriptures encourage belief that salvation is secure and cannot be lost. These very Scriptures can encourage people who fear losing salvation and struggle with doubt.

Jesus says in Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Why would he say this but to comfort and assure those who feared but believed in him?

They didn’t have faith in Jesus. They didn’t trust God regarding the Messiah.
Yeah, we know that. That's why they are in hell today.
And these Israelites in hell today, they most definitely had the gifts and calling revoked. The gifts and calling of God have not been revoked for later generations of Israelites who will one day walk in them again. But somehow this is supposed to mean that no one individual believer ever, anywhere, can have a gift of God revoked. That's not even what the passage is about (Romans 11).

How much work and fruit is enough? What if YOU turn out to be one work or one fruit shy of just enough? Would you adamantly voice your displeasure to God and proclaim your faith in Him?
If you are still characterized by your old life, not the new life of a saved person living for God, you may well not have the new life you claim to have.

But if you still don't get it, then you answer the question:

16By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. - Matthew 7:16-20

You tell us, how much work and fruit is enough?

What are the two issues?

There are those who are prideful and thinking they maintain salvation.

Then there are those who are afraid of losing salvation but believe in Jesus.

Do you believe both groups are lost or only those who are prideful?

and here we have the lie of lordship salvation- saved by faith, salvation proved by works....

Losing salvation is not a biblical option

Nobody here thinks they literally maintain their own salvation.
The argument is they continue to trust in the one who keeps them saved.
do you not see how you are contradicting yourself all over the place??

you say this, which is true, but then you turn around and say that if one sins too much, salvation will be taken away, thus making it salvation by works.

again I say- lordship salvation is garbage,
