so the apostles are stupid doing baptism in water?
Not one of them ever did it to save anyone.🤦‍♂️

Water baptism isn't birth. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

It is a cerimony. An outward expression of what God has done for us in spirit to profess to the world.....

Your vision is so clouded by weak religion of man and ideas from people who don't know God.

Your words are without power.

In 1 Peter 3:21, Peter tells us that baptism now saves you, yet when Peter uses this phrase he continues in the same sentence to explain exactly what he means by it. He said that baptism now saves you-not the removal of dirt from the flesh (that is, not as an outward, physical act which washes dirt from the body--that is not what saves you), "but an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ"

I agree with this....Baptism is an appeal to God...through the resurrection of Jesus Christ...with no added spiritual thingy.

I*Just as the eight people in the ark were "saved THROUGH water" as they were IN THE ARK. They were not literally saved "by" the water. Hebrews 11:7 is clear on this point (..built an ARK for the SAVING of his household). *NOTE: The context reveals that ONLY the righteous (Noah and his family) were DRY and therefore SAFE. In contrast, ONLY the wicked in Noah's day came in contact with the water and they all perished.
Let us quote...
Heb 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
1...the context is about faith,,
2. Noah by faith..prepared the ark...being warned by God...
1Pe 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1Pe 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
1Pe 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
1Pe 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

Read 1 pet 3:18 with this...
Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

so the apostles are stupid doing baptism in water?
No the apostles were doing what Jesus told them to do
make disciples and once you do. Baptize them

That does not take away the spiritual act of God immersing is into Christ where our sins are washed away

Col 2 speaks of a spiritual circumcision done by the hand of God.
how is this done? By baptism who does it? The Holy Spirit.

So when are we going to rise?
When Christ rises ya and takes us to heaven. It’s called the ressurecrion when we meet Jesus in the sky

the rest will be delivered to Christ at the great white throne and suffer the second death

If one is born again, made new, they are completely born again. God finished what He starts every single time.

The way you speak is strange and far from anything the Holy spirit produces.

You are vague and avoid main points to ask silly little word game questions.

You don't feel at all honest or genuine.

I don't mean to be harsh but perhaps english isn't your first language and you only ignore most of what's said because it is easier for you. Maybe it isn't intentional. But goodness.

what is born of God?
Being born of God is when God quickens our spirit (makes it alive) also gives us a new heart which is no longer hard like the old one. We have new desires and are a new creation. We are now as sons and can know we have eternal life.

Why then baptise them if believing is enuf???

Its not spiritual..but rather a poetic/allegoric statement.
lets just quote col 2..

Col 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

It is an act of obedience for those who have already been saved. Already born of water, already born of spirit, made new. It is an outward profession of what God did for us Himself.

Yes.

"born of water" is = to "born of flesh"....

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

(Jesus is using physical birth as an earthly example to help the spiritually blind nicodemus see His point)

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

(again Nicodemus is unable to understand this spiritual lesson even with an earthly example of birth so he uses his earthly reasoning to question Jesus about being born of flesh two times)

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

(still speaking of brith and trying to relate the two.... born of water = anatomical fluid =born of flesh and born of the Spirit = when God makes His children new)

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

(again further explaining the two births.... born of flesh/born of water = natural birth Spirit = born of God)

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again......

You seem to remain confused about water baptism.

As Greek scholar AT Robertson states, "a symbol is not the reality, but the picture of the reality."

I did response to that..nevertheless..
1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

When we are going to received this spiritual body?

this I agree.....
Why did adam sin?
Why did Christ died?
Can you find the contrast between the two?
You stop deleting most of my posts or I will stop replying to your nonsense.

Adam sinned because he directly went against Gods command, he was not decieved but joined in with Eve after she was beguiled. We can argue as to why but that is weak and fruitless without him being present.

Christ died and overcame death to that by one many might be saved.

Sure, it's brought up a few times.

12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

A fisherman said...
Act_2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act_2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
what is there to confuse about?
