LOL, so he used the term 'knew' in the Biblical sense? (You might consider John 8:44.)

So he knows that those who
prophesied in thy name?
and in thy name have cast out devils?
and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matt 7:22
as his enemies?

49 And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. 50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.
Luke 9:49-50

Yessir, these who suggest themselves that they have done these things then point to self as their claim that He is Lord... have no understanding what so ever.

He saved us according to His mercy. Not according to works of righteousness.

(romans 9-10 in context)

All who have even one blemish are enemies of God. Those who seek to establish their own righteousness have not submitted to the righteousness of Christ.

Do you question Jesus veracity when He states He never knew them.

He obviously meant something important when He responded that way.

It was a relational knowledge of them He is denying.

You are asking for a lot you know.
Matthew 19:26
26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.😁

Personally I just want an answer. I would easily believe they aren't ralph. (I never even really believed RALPH was the REAL ralph)

Ralph was never banned, right?

And if it is not ralph they can just say "no" or "yes but I dont want to say who I was for personal reasons"

That's fine.... but why no honest answer?

I'd feel convicted....

Ralph's Avatar states Guest... not banned.

Okay really, think for a minute, would you want to own up to being "Ralph"

The main take away from his time here as Ralph was that I always had Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" stuck in my head.

He obviously wants a fresh start, no ties to the past persona... fine... but his dogma is still wrong.

I suppose I have always been my own biggest enemy.

Nope. Rapture, trib, 1,000 reign is the second coming, destruction of earth and heaven, GWTJ, new heaven and earth
Sorry for my lack of information , it is the 12 tribes whos names are on the 12 gates , gates not thrones , my bed...

I still have so much to learn , and our discussion brought me forth to seek out the Scripture , I praise God for that Amen...
...xox...
Maybe this:

Rev_21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

I'm not sure what that means but that verse is about heavenly Jerusalem.

43Iesus therefore answered, and said vnto them, Murmure not among your selues.
44No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me, draw him: and I will raise him vp at the last day.

God saves those He draws . In a manor of speaking your line "God saves anyone who comes to him" is correct although it is some what miss leading when compared to the Scripture .
I agree with ya. That's a deeeep topic. :)

That is funny because we used to call Fran ... Ralph too, she kept saying Ralph was coming back.. then some wise guy Allen (her friend) decided to make up a new account with the name Ralph... thought it was funny.

It wasn't.

They pmed me and found out it was me first, then made the ralph account after i did.

I heard a few members joking about this ralph being so great and him one day coming.

So I made therealralph before he got here and started playing around... my avatar was a picture of gandolf the grey🤦‍♂️

i got convicted and admitted it was all a joke in a day or less even though everyone seemed to think it was silly

( i heard it was against the rules to have multiple accounts... i pmed once fallen)

So if you know him then obviously he knows you? I would say it was because they built their house on a rock is the reason he said he never knew them.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: Matt 7:24

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: Matt 7:26

Then do you question the veracity of his sayings.

You mean 1 John 2:19 does not mean what is plainly means. 1 John 2:19 makes it inescapably clear that those who WENT OUT FROM US WERE NOT OF US and IF they HAD BEEN OF US then they WOULD HAVE continued with us. (y)
It means exactly that.
The problem is, it isn't talking about who osas says it's talking about.
Which you should have no argument against since even you do not apply it to the Galatians, or Peter, who both fell away, but who really were 'of us'.
Obviously, in the context of all of scripture, 1 John 2:19 can't be applied the way osas applies it.

It's not hard to find unbelievers mixed in with believers. Just look at the parable of the wheat and the tares. Giving an exhortation to hold fast does not mean believers will not hold fast. Who is it that fails to hold fast and why?
Both the Galatians and the Corinthians did not hold fast to what they first heard. So much for asserting that it is the true believers who will always and without exception hold fast. Either 1 John 2:19 can't be talking about every single true believer never being able to fall away, or the Galatians and Corinthians were not really saved. Which one do you want to go with? One of them has to give in order for your Calvinist leaning doctrine to be true. So which one do you want to ditch? We'll examine your choice from there. Either way, you'll see that these doctrines in the church that have spawned from Calvinism (it seems few want to be a true Calvinist anymore), including yours, don't stand up to scrutiny.

Christ is the Rock . He is the chief corner stone.
