and if the foot tells the eyes we don't need you anymore we would rather wander around the world blind and without the guidances of prophecy? which is simply speaking the revelations of God placed in the hearts of believers? which if you even read the first post should NEVER contradict the BIBLE?

v. 27

"now you are the body of Christ, and members individually, and God has apponted these in the church: first apostles, second PROPHETS, third teachers, (then comes the rest of the people of GOd) then gifts of healing, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues...."

Every thing is to be done out of love, you are not to ENVY or BOAST of your gifts but use them for the edification of the CHURCH the ONE BODY of Christ in this world.

we are not to speak lies or Half truths to make people feel good.

God will raise up and build His church and it will be a sanctuary for the rough weather ahead. All are important and denying any gift spoken of in the Bible is to REJECT God's words and protection. It is too cut off a vital organ by which the whole body will DIE.

Pray about it and speak to God and see what the HOLY SPIRIT the ONE HEAD says about it.

I will pray that God is merciful and sends you grace and understanding of His words.

4th Seal: famine is so great, food so scarce, wild animals and people fighting for food, that 1/4 mankind is killed (today would over 1 billion people)

We hear this all the time from todays 'prophets" - 'persecution' means affirmation.

What you should understand, however, and appear not to, is that Christians are a royal priesthood, a universal (within true Christendom) priesthood with One High Priest.

Jesus is also a Prophet, and the gift of the Holy Spirit is all that is needed for each believer within the Household of God.

And herein I find the lack of credibility: the above passage is spoken by Jesus to the Judaic Pharisees 2,000 years ago.

attempting to quote this Scripture to Christians, as though God had given it to you to utter against Christ's Church is not believable.

But these sorts of utterings against the Church by "prophets" today is a mark upon them, making them easier to spot.

Am i to understand that God has given you these verses to speak against me for doubting you are a prophet, or given for you to speak to affirm yourself as a prophet?

Please clarify this, since if God has given you these words directly for this occassion, you must say so, likewise if He did not you must say so.

Anything short of that is spiritual manipulation by someone attampting to intimidate, and I am not easily so led.

I need to test your prophecies and teachings, Thank You (you know this is required).

You have taken upon yourself mantle of prophet, and claim many other gifts.
I am to discern, but your cooperation as a true prophet or apostle (as Paul commended the Bereans) is required.

this is an extremely grave matter.

You now say: "Titles are not needed, just obedience to God." yet you have chosen titles for yourself which require the faithful to watch and test carefully.

I notice today's "prophets" often quote the ancient prophets, sometimes verbatim, and they do so as a "word" from God, to be spoken against Christ's Church. is this what you really want to do?

Further to testing you (which if you are truly sent by God, you will know this is required) - who (which denomination) affirmed your "gift" and sent you forth?

Would you reiterate the prophecies/messages God has given you for the Church please? I need to examine them.

so God now must work through denominations and churches to be accepted? hmmm didn't read that in the Bible can you show me?

I don't mind being tested but the only prophecy was the one I posted in this Thread. Its in BIG BLUE LETTERS. that is all judge it if you like its not much and I'm not the only one who received it. Like I said I'm not that important. It is the message and GOD that should be focused on and glorified. He sends His messages to all His True prophets. there is just so many false ones or corrupt ones people are skeptical.

test me if you like I will answer you with scripture, because that is what Jesus taught us to do when tested to answer with the words of GOD.

Please do not compare in your heart me to others who claim to be prophets but judge ME according to MY WORDS not THEIRS. that is all I ask is that you judge fairly and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Dear Lord guide and protect us. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

You test a prophesy by how it comes true. A prophesy must literally come true, or it is no prophesy at all.

It does not mean we can not try to guess. But all guesses should at least match up with scripture.

we know the antichrist makes peace, but also makes war. So it is not off base to think he is seal number one. and his war efforts bring about seal's two through 5. The god makes seal 6 happen.

We can also use this to show that these things have not happened yet. So those who say it has can be shown wrong.

paulnsilas I understand you point of view but right now i have to take care of somethings that are personal and I don't feel that God has a message for me to deliver. it happens like maybe once or twice in my life.

are prophets always preaching and speaking prophecies? I have not read it was so. Moses spent years in the wilderness as a shepherd before being called to speak as a prophet.

IF it is the mantle of prophet you don't like about me you can have it freely, it is not a robe I wanted in the first place and I just wanted to be normal and live a normal life but it was not granted to me.

You can wrestle this with Jesus, I need to do the things the Holy Spirit wants me to do today and enjoy the blessings He has granted me: my family and time with them.

Peace of the Lord be with God's people. shalom.

Seriously, the best way to test a prophet when you hear them, instead of waiting for it to be fulfilled to know if it is real or not, is to rely on the Holy Spirit. If you feel uneasy about the words--then usually it is the uneasy in the Holy Spirit inside of you making you feel that way. This is how the Holy Spirit warns you when something isn't right-- this doesn't just apply to prophecy either.

We can test a prophesy is wrong by the fact it does not make sense. Or agree with what the text says.

Like people who say the 1000 year reign is not a literal 1000 years, or that the 7 years are not 7 years etc etc.

Oh, yeah, there is going to be 1000 year reign, and it is going to be the best 1000 years ever! Why would anyone want to take that away is beyond me?
