That's stupid. It's not a minor virus. There are 100 people a day dying in Italy from the virus.

Put this in context please... who are these 100 people a day out of the total number infected.

The truth is most people..... a ..........98% survive

Wow, how people are so easily manipulated. This lying media has caused a minor virus to be a world wide panic.
Amazing ... truly amazing how people are so easily persuaded, not even looking at the facts.

False, there has only been 197 people in Italy die from this virus, and in one day the greatest has been 49.
Here is an article for you.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-51777049

https://www.bbc.com/news/health-51674743

Please read up and get educated.

Fear mongering is not becoming of a Christian.
Thank you ... let's stick to the facts.
Christians should never be fear mongers.
Elderly succumb to influenza from secondary causes that is a known fact.

This virus does not cause death it is secondary causes that cause death.

Agree.. and to see them so easily led an manipulated by false flags, false news and hype is tragic.
Amen to that sister.
Think about it, we are supposed to be conformed to the image of Christ. Jesus did not fear the real plague of his day which was leprosy. But Christians today rather than being a light to the world and reacting in wisdom and strength, we follow the world and hoard toilet paper and hand sanitizer, and we freaked out just like they do on social media. It's not a wonder that the world does not see the light.

It's especially sad when it is Christians. We are supposed to be the light.
The challenge is that it this so transmissible with long incubation period that the health care system will be stretched to meet demand.
If people require ventilation or treatment, with limed resources people will die.

Again a person with a healthy immune system will develop antibodies to fight the virus... our body has a natural defense system.

To prepared is one thing ....according to the facts... but "freaking out" and over reacting..... agree not acceptable

I work with the public and we have tried to take precautions by buying in extra hand soap and hand sanitizer... Everything is out of stock including raw materials! We just by Savlon (alcohol solvent), mix it with water and it's a sanitizer... Even at home, we wash our hands as soon as we get in... There is no need to panic buy

Latest figures for Italy are 12462 infected, 827 deaths, 1045 recoveries.

That means there are 1842 people with a know outcome of which 44% are dead.
The remaining 10590 that are infected have neither recovered nor died yet.

BUt we don't know the final outcome of most of those that are infected. They may recover, they may not.

In China, the percentage of deaths of known outcomes it approx 5%.
If that was the figure for the USA (for example) and everyone got infected, the result would be approx 16.5 million deaths.

Your figure is based on everyone being infected......viruses do to work that way.

Mortality Rate in China as of Feb. 4 (2.1% nationwide, 4.9% Wuhan, 3.1% Hubei, and 0.16% other provinces) reported by the NHC of
China

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/coronavirus-death-rate/

Mortality rate is also linked to level/quality of health care available.

we had some fancier hand sanitisers at the bookshop but they are too pricy for some people.
Some company made them with pretty designs on them for gifts.

everywhere else is sold out for masks and sanitisers. You can probably wear a hanky and gloves and wash them.

I guess people just need to have natural immunity by eating lots of natural and nourishing food like veges and chicken soup or herbs and spices. Or maybe seaweed, ginger?

Probably the best thing you can do is have plenty of fresh air, check your ventilation and open your windows. Continue washing everyday. And dont go to work if you work indoors with lots of people. Do stay home if you are unwell.

best way to get more fresh air in a room is to grow it. i.e have plants.

I would consider growing more indoor plants as best line of defence. Sick building syndrome is real...viruses etc can easily spread through compromised air conditioning systems. Thats the thing people dont realise.

We have an air conditioner in the house but never switch it on. I'm not even sure if it works!
