why do you even ask such things?
For one, the first cause argument, or the theory that all things have a cause and effect. I wonder if you were familiar with it. It basic holds that things that happen (the effect) have a reason for them happening (the cause). It is also know as the cosmological argument.

Plus, it keeps me from having to say there is no such thing as 'prior to God'

there is no such thing as 'prior to God'
Maybe if you would have asked the Son of man, born of a woman, according to the law he would have told you the eternal One.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
The day you gave your life to Christ and became a Born Again Christian, Spirit of God and Christ resides within you.
When you stand and apply God’s Word in your life………The Word becomes flesh
When you claim your inheritance as a believer for healing, provision, protection deliverance and Spiritual growth and God honors your request…………..The Word became flesh
I get what you see there. That's pretty good understanding there mystic7.

Really, so why do they say that the universe is composed up of 73% dark energy, 23% non-baryonic matter and 4% of baryonic matter? But that's rhetorical because I follow the Biblical cosmology because their are many mansions in the heaven above and the days of the flesh in this one are short. Besides, those numbers are represent the general composition of the firmament after the waters were divided from the waters resulting in a 74, 24, 1.5 ratio of 100%.

While now the numbers are something like 78, 21, 1 of 100%, which is one of those math questions I had since the volume of 100% are not the same in the two different readings, so the 74 didn't increase to 78 because 24 decreased to 21 since the volume of the 100% for the two are not the same. If the amount of actual % loss can then be divided to find out the yearly loss then it could be determined how long is left before the 2nd number would reach 0.

But I digress, but all these new world sciences have lead to is a generation of the Helen Kellerized intellectuals that can't see what they hear being spoken is saying that they can't hear if they could see. If we lived in the ancient days, Stephen Hawking would have been the foreskin king after intellectually circumcising those who were willing to believe that only the believers in the scriptures were being deceived.

This is a except from a Newsweek article published on 3/14/18

An infrared switch that was attached to Hawking's glasses would detect movement he made with his cheek that would stop the cursor or mouse from moving on the screen. The program allowed Hawking to move his cheek to stop the cursor that automatically scanned a keypad, he wrote on his website. After he had the first few characters of a word selected, the computer could usually predict what word he was going for based on studies of his past speeches and books.

But I guess if one believes that Helen Keller could overcome her physical disabilities and develop the ability to speak then what would be any reason not to believe she could learn how to read and write.

So you have come up with a method of interpreting the Bible that an atheist agrees with.
Probably because it allows him to be his own God by simply applying moral principles, while allowing him to deny any external God being.

Is this a fair assessment?

It isn't even a fair understanding of what I said.

And before your god came to exist what created the eternal One?
Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing he hath no heart to it?

No one is a fool for noticing you've painted yourself into a corner on a board full of Christians. The fool would be the one that thinks an eternal one created what Christians revere as God.

i read that yesterday -- but what is the price? it's something a fool has: what is it?
is what we need to know to be able to find the answer to that question in ch.1-16 ?

And another thing. I've got to tell you that though I'm newly arrived here, there's no missing that there appears to be a bunch of your kind on this site. You talk in circles, and you insist on these ridiculously stupid ideas about God and the faith people here hold, and how it all is suppose to work, according to you all. Then you get on with insulting people who don't go along with your homemade slanderous crap.
You're like roaches! Everywhere I look there's a new one popping up that sounds and looks like the others.

There's even this apparent game some like to play when they reply to someone else. They'll make up something from their own imagination, claim the person they're talking to said it, and then challenge that person to prove it!
Which is impossible because they didn't write it in the first place.
Then the one that did make it up makes fun of the person they were talking to.

What happened?Did someone break the TV at the asylum? You lot seem to be here to see if Christians live up to the hype, and do your best to work it. You know the hype I'm talking about, right? love your enemy? Don't get mad. Find peace in the Lord and forgive and endure to the end and exercise patience, no matter what.

These good people will forgive you. They'll pray for you. They'll even spend time trying to reach you. And I'll wager you lot get off on that. After all, isn't that why you're here? And more and more of you come in? And interestingly enough, you all sound alike.
Lemmings, that have a go at Christians for fun because they can't find their way out of their basement.

That's how you appear to someone who did consider himself a Christian. Then decided, after much had occurred, maybe it just wasn't working out between him and what an organized religion thought it had to mean to be one.

I didn't say you were a fool. I asked what you had in your hand.

The eternal is has no beginning of existence neither does He change in nature or form.

For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; John5:26

there's a difference?
Yeah there is a difference, "...and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. [1 Cor 12:3]

Yet if you know the Holy Ghost then you must know the Spirit of truth, and if you knew the Spirit of truth then you would know the LORD is the God of truth.

LORD and Lord, yea there is a difference.

Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:

there's a difference?
They have said as much, yes. In two different replies.
I asked them, what existed before your god?
They responded, the eternal One.

Perhaps their god is that one that is in opposition to the God of the Christian. I would think that would make their efforts here to make sense.
