*Warning*: I am NOT a barber. I therefore cannot guarantee the results will be satisfactory in the event you hand me the scissors and ask for a haircut. RESULTS MAY VARY.

:p:LOL::eek::oops:;)
I actually did cut my own hair once a few years back, it was pretty funny the end result....

I though it would be easy to fix just one section I did not like, and well next thing you know by the end I pretty much looked like that picture I posted.... it was pretty funny next day going to work looking like I cut my own hair...

No one even asked they all knew what I had done.:D

Boy, did my hairdresser dress me down the next day, I thought she was going to have a heartache ..... LOL

I have NEVER heard the term elitist used in my entire 43 years of being a Born Again Christian. WHAT IS IT?
it means like they are above you in some sense. they are elite. like elite forces in army.

i would only put apostles in that category no one alive today.

you and i are talking on even plainfield but if st.paul walks in we better listen and shut our mouths

While true. Even paul said he came to serve not be served. He refused to even take money from one church.

No, that's not what happened. I've been out of the forum and was just checking in to see what's going on I saw your backbiting remarks and I thought, 'these babies need to grow up'.

Your behavior shows you are either a baby in Christ or not saved at all. Since you think it above my pay grade to decide, then you tell me--which is it? Are you just immature in Christ, or not saved at all? Until you get to the 4th type of soil, you can't begin to think that you might be always saved. Only mature people in Christ have any boast of not falling back to the world in unbelief. You're not there yet. Your behavior shows that.

See, you're all about correctness of doctrine, not actually living for Christ. You think your so-called knowledge means you're safe in Christ. Not even remotely true. The church is big on doctrine, as if that's what it means to 'believe', and they're not so big on actually living out the faith. It's a disgrace.
So between March 2nd and yesterday morning, yesterday morning was the first time that you just coincidentally happened to check back on Christian Chad and saw my post and in a very short time responded. So am I immature in Christ or am I not saved at all? You tell me, since you enjoy playing judge. I don’t doubt my salvation one bit and my maturity level is between me and the Lord. You sound like someone who’s had some bad experiences at church and now you are bitter about it, which may explain why you keep lashing out at others.

@mailmandan, I tend to like a lot of your posts and often times you have Scripture in them and explain the bible well. You don't give me the impression of someone immature in Christ, but rather someone who has been walking with Jesus for quite some time and can lead others in their faith with grace.

Okay, I get it now. Listen to him, is especially in this portion of scripture:

Romans 7:15-25 (HCSB)
15 For I do not understand what I am doing, because I do not practice what I want to do, but I do what I hate.
16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree with the law that it is good.
17 So now I am no longer the one doing it, but it is sin living in me.
18 For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh. For the desire to do what is good is with me, but there is no ability to do it.
19 For I do not do the good that I want to do, but I practice the evil that I do not want to do.
20 Now if I do what I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but it is the sin that lives in me.
21 So I discover this principle: When I want to do what is good, evil is with me.
22 For in my inner self I joyfully agree with God’s law.
23 But I see a different law in the parts of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and taking me prisoner to the law of sin in the parts of my body.
24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this dying body?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with my mind I myself am a slave to the law of God, but with my flesh, to the law of sin.

1 Timothy 1:14-16 (NKJV)
14 And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.
16 However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.

If something our LORD said is countered with a Paul said... know that interpretation divides.
the Truth is One and the tittle tattle is of men.. GOD enlighten us always.
Paul a servant of GOD.
Peace and love to all.

Yep. That is what happened. God as my witness.
I popped in a day or two before that and didn't see much (useful) activity and didn't stick around. Before that I thought it may have been 10 days or so since I posted. But it looks like you're keeping a better record of that than I am.

I know you osas people love to play these games about how and when your resisters post, and it's got to stop. You don't know about our lives, and it's none of your business anyway. You are all way to arrogant looking down your noses from your ivory towers of your (supposed) superior knowledge. Stop judging and meddling in people's internet lives. Time to grow up!

So am I immature in Christ or am I not saved at all? You tell me, since you enjoy playing judge.
You, like so many people in the church seem so utterly ignorant of the right the Bible gives to believers to decide who we will consider to be a believer and who we will not. You call it 'judging', in every negative sense of the word. But the Bible says it's what you're supposed to do. You people know a lot about your osas doctrines and how to make the Bible support it but you know little about anything else. This is one example. Most of you have blinders on and can't see anything else in the Bible besides your sacred osas doctrine. You are babies. But you think you are grown up and knowledgeable and wise.

I don’t doubt my salvation one bit and my maturity level is between me and the Lord.
That's fine. I'm not going to take that away from you. Your relationship with God is indeed a matter between you and God. But don't try to take away my right to decide who I'm going to consider a real brother and who I won't. Right now, I don't know about you. At best you seem to only have the 'water' part of 'water and of the Spirit' (John 3:5) down (and that is where most of the church is at). Though I used to have a higher opinion of you. But your participation in our discussions gradually eroded until I could not consider you much better than the other poorly behaved participants in this thread. Your biggest problem is your pride, your arrogance. This does seem to be the one defining characteristic of the osas believer.

You sound like someone who’s had some bad experiences at church and now you are bitter about it, which may explain why you keep lashing out at others.
My bad experience is exactly what you and others have been doing in on-line forums. You are really bad people most of the time. You hate and murder over doctrines. And you have little to no clue as to what the Christian life is really all about. You are still sucking on the (sour) milk of your erroneous doctrine of osas salvation and know nothing about the meat of the word and the discerning between evil behavior and good that you should be growing up into:

"For every one that useth milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses excised to discern both good and evil." - Hebrews 5:13-14

Most of you osas people show by your behavior that you are still babies in Christ.....or not really saved at all. And, yes, I reserve my Biblical right to decide which I will consider you to be, just as you and others are most likely doing to me too. Remember that before you go off about my right to consider you or anyone else a real brother or not.
