I've pretty much said everything I needed to say on my one post here, but I'm going to add a couple of things for those who take the name of Christ.

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" - Isaiah 5:20

My point of view is simple; Nothing in all of life eclipses the saving grace of Jesus Christ. If you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior then you are a child of God, and He will perfect you in His time. Salvation comes instantly; sanctification is a lifelong process.
Yes, it’s just like that. So simple and graceful. Thank you.

Yesterday I went on a chat online and spoke with a guy called bob, I’m really confused is it wrong to be gay?
That's a little vague? Can you give us some more information? The word "gay," has many meanings. It could mean, "happy," as in you and Bob had a "gay" time with two women you met and went online to chat about it. Such as, were the women Amish? Or did you both go to a dance hall to rescue some women dancers from some drug dealers and you gave them a safe place to stay. So, happy could mean, you and Bob were gay until you saw the dancers and changed your mind and decided they were beautiful and you wanted to rescue them, which made you both so happy you decided to marry them.

Scenario two: You and Bob were at a Christmas party and you heard the Christmas carol, "tis the season to be jolly....don we now our "gay" apparel," which translated means, "happy Christmas party clothing," except that "Don" we now our "gay" apparel shouldn't be misinterpreted as you and Bob met someone named "Don," and put on some atypical type clothing, lipstick, dresses and such, which might come across a bit unusual at a Christmas party, three dudes dressed "gay," which would not make people happy, unless it was Halloween, maybe. And you did it for fun to make dudes who thought they might be gay less depressed and gave them hope, because they talked with someone named Bob. And Bob was really a psychiatrist who had counseled so many gay people that he began to doubt his own sexual identity and asked his wife for help. But she said that he was the psychiatrist and got paid $300/hour and came home and gave her that kind of bs from La La land after she worked a 40 hour work week counseling transvestites, and then had to come home and cook him dinner, but that it might help him if he put on her underwear and walked down the street to the store to pick up some PMS pills and buy her some women's underwear and say they were for his wife, so he could try and sort out his own identity issues by the time he got back home and pay her $300 for the therapy. So, on the way home, Bob ran into Don and the other two dudes wearing dresses, and told them that they looked gay and needed therapy, and they could make an appointment for counseling with his wife.

They said they were busy, so Bob said they could walk home with him and all four of them could ask her what to do about the crisis.
When Bob's wife opened the door, she said she could talk to them, but it would cost them $300 dollars each for 14 days since they would have to be quarantined in her garage and she could talk to them via the internet in an online Christian chat room, where they would be accepted for who they were and no one would judge them, except to say that they had a 50/50 chance of not being sent to a small island in the Pacific called "bikini" atol where the French were going to test a new hydrogen bomb, if they said they were Scottish. But that Bob would have to give his underwear back to his wife because they were low on laundry detergent because they were quarantined in their house for 2 weeks and she needed them back.

So, it would help if the OP (original poster) could give us some more information about just exactly what Bob said to him.
But, probably the short answer is that if you are that easily confused after talking to one dude, then you might want to find a girlfriend who could give you a second opinion by a simple demonstration of how to passionately kiss a lady, and see how you feel about it.
Like the song:

"It's In His Kiss" Betty Everett

Bob Newhart - SitCom Psychiatrist: "Just Stop It!!"

On a serious note. Many people have been helped by Christian Freedom and deliverance ministries such as "Freedom IN Christ Ministries," founded by Dr. Neil Anderson, ficm.com and the books, "The Bondage Breaker," which helps Christians resolve inner conflicts, including many aspects of identity issues, which can be resolved by understanding that our true identity is found through knowing who we were created to be, that Dr. Anderson refers to as our true "identity in Christ."

I believe the point being made was that condemnation does not help.

Paul asks in 1 Corinthians 5:12

What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?

I thought the OP claimed to be a struggling Christian...

Their info says "unsure" and they are on Christian sites asking if it's wrong to be gay. If they weren't Christian I wouldn't think they would be struggling with being gay and would have said so in their info. Could be wrong...

Yes, you could be. I believe non-Christians do struggle with being gay.

But I could be right ;) Unsure would indicate to me they are unsure of their faith because of feelings of being gay. The OP can fill us both in when they return. And I believe non Christians can struggle also.

Nope i know what you said and i quote it again::

You did not say It is not evil to love someone i will pray for you to find peace.. But now you want to put it forward that you said something that you did not say.. And in the process make out that i am a unjustified bully.. a nasty person..

No i reacted to what you actually said not what you now claim to have said.. I am not going to simply stand back and allow you to throw mud at me and make out your said something you never said..

Below is the foundation of the problem with you::

Conviction of sin is the Primary way the Holy Spirit leads the meek to the grace of Jesus.. Everyone who comes to the LORD will feel condemned by the message of God because they are actually in a state of condemnation.. The Only people who harden their hearts to that condemnation are the proud ones who love their sin and hate when their sin is declared sin.. The Meek who shall inherit the earth respond to the convicting message of the Bible with contrition,, They feel ashamed,, that agree with the condemnation they are facing.. And thats why the LORD states..

Isaiah 57: KJV
15 "For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones."

Everyone who ends up saved goes through the uncomfortable process of conviction of the Holy Spirit.. If a person is proud and loves their sin they will resist the conviction of the Holy Spirit and they will be given over to their perversions..
Talk about being two faced😒.

My response to her was regarding her question about loving someone. I suppose you “accidentally” made an interpretation more fitting for your narrative.

You didn’t react to what I said, but to your interpretation of what I said, also known as a straw man.

I’m not saying you’re a unjustified, nasty bully, but your own allegations against me are far worse than that. You should think long and hard about what you’re saying to other Christians. Maybe you’ll then get to acknowledge that the salvation by the Grace of God is what comes first, not your sinless, works based salvation process.

Your assertion was you thought the OP had claimed they were a Christian. So where is this claim? Let's have the evidence, before pretending you could be right about it and waiting to see if such a claim is forthcoming in the future. You are waffling.

No, you are simply refusing to admit you are wrong, and want to pretend you could be right regardless. Shake your head all you want, you have been caught out, and are further refusing to take any responsibility in the matter. Blaming it all on me like you did not have anything to do with it is pathetic.

Again willfully lying about my position.. And you're not one of my sisters in Christ.. You have proven that.. Time for the ignore option.. Please put me on ignore also..

Magenta, I don't get the impression that @kaylagrl is disagreeing with you but rather is in agreement.
Is that why she called me ignorant? Hmmm  No, she put forth an indefensible position and then waffled on it and blamed me. So perhaps you need to look again to see that she said: If they (the OP) weren't Christian I wouldn't think they would be struggling with being gay... but then turned around and contradicted that by agreeing with me that non-Christians also struggle with being gay. Her whole point in addressing me in the first place was to let on that the OP was Christian because they struggle with homosexuality.

Did the OP make a claim of being Christian? I do not know, nor did I claim it. Aside from all that, the conversation had moved into the realm of how best to draw people to Christ, and the contended post had to do with those outside the church. It seems obvious to me that if people are evangelized and/or "being drawn to Christ" then they are not in fact, already Christians.

Correction for last sentence: If people are being evangelized... :)

You and I are good. I'm not going to keep an argument going over a troll. We've done pretty well all this time, I don't intend to make an enemy over a troll. Forget it was said.

This is why when people are trolling they should be quickly removed. People end up in arguments over nothing. The troll moves on and there's still hurt feelings. A pity.

Are you still here? I thought they banned you after you made the comment about going to church to hug little girls.
