That's out of context. Jesus was explicitly teaching about the Father.

So how do you reconcile the fact that we are told that God created the Heavens and the Earth in Genesis
and that Christ as the Word created everything in Johns Gospel?

In the Torah, when God destroyed Sodom, the term used for God is the same for God in Heaven as He is God while on Earth. The Torah is specific it's the SAME PERSON GOD being Omnipresent in Heaven and while on Earth.

Knowing this, we can see how the WORD and GOD are the same Person in 2 different places at once. Therefore, Genesis and John 1:1 can be viewed as GOD being OMNIPRESENT in 2 places at one time!

Understanding that God is OMNIPRESENT, reveals how Eshu/Yeshua/Jesus/Yahweh/Jehovah can tell Moses that He is I AM and ELOHIM!


In Exodus, the Burning Bush where Yeshua reveals He is I AM, He tells Moses:

Bilocation nor omnipresence define person. Person is founded on the individuality of a rational being. We find in scripture the distinctions required to know God to be a community of persons.

Jesus is called SON because He was flesh.
We are called SONS because we are flesh and accept God as our Father.

From John, the Beloved, own disciples and the Church Fathers:

but the wisdom [Spirit in this instance is Sophia] of God which was in Him, and
........... His holy Word which was always present with Him.

What this is literally saying, that the WORD and WISDOM (Spirit) are not separate on their own, because they come from within God Himself and remain as Him.
