Wait what? your saying that he is bound right now by the sixth vile? So do you believe we are in the tribulation right now?
Tribulation doesn't start until the Man of Sin/Antichrist, breaks the covenant and proclaims to be God Messiah in Jerusalem.

Well I suppose you can see it that way it is one way to look at it but it says he does this after3.5 years of the tribulation I believe the great tribulation is what your talking about this is the part where God's wrath comes in.
I am a pretrib/prewrath believer, while I hope we are able to go home soon I also would not be surprised if we saw some of this happen before we ascend. The scriptures say we are not appointed to wrath which is why I don't think we will be facing his wrath in this part only those left behind who become saved.

We have not enetered the tribulation yet, we are close yes more close than many think but trust me I have seen the great tribulation and it is something that doesn't even belong in horror movies and I have seen and experienced the rapture more times than I can count and in every time I saw and experienced it it was never in the great tribulation.

As for your view on the vile I have never heard of this belief but a vile like that isn't what holds the devil it is a vile that is poured on the earth in the great tribulation it is a form of judgement not captivity

Dave-L, are you picking up any ideas from this thread? Do you understand the errors that you are making?
What if you are making errors not being well versed in scripture?

Y
ou are so right David L....still trying to figure out who the scriptures are talking about. I mean who else was born in Bethlehem, of a virgin, and out of Egypt, in a certain blood line that can be followed all the way back to Adam and Eve.
Who spoke to calm the seas and wind, who chastened those in the temple saying my house is a house of prayer.
Who healed the sick, raised the dead, and was the one spoken of in the 22nd pslam.
Who was rejected by his own people.
"Where is magenta when you need her???? She can post the over 300 prophecies he vaguely fulfilled or should I say the old testament vaguely presented.
In fact Jesus held them accountable for not knowing the time of their visitation......was he unjust in doing this??
If it was so vague in scripture. Don't think so.
The wise men found their way to the blessed site....by what they were told. What excuse did the Pharisees have that were 5miles away???
His cousin John the Baptist came in the spirit of Elijah not as Elijah in fact Jesus was said to be Elijah too why is this
Does it have something to do with Passover? A empty place setting ...you figure it out.

Got to go but you can save more money by switching to Geico.
So Jesus was wrong when he said you would know what he was talking about after the prophecy was fulfilled. Why didn't anyone understand these fragments until after fulfilled and written down? You aren't like the others preaching "microchips" today, are you?

Zec 2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

All the nations did not go against Jerusalem in the first century, and not even all the then known world went against Jerusalem, but only the Roman Empire.

Zec 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

Isa 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Zec 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Isa 13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the
proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Zec 14:6 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Ezekiel 39:21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.
23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.
24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.
25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.
27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

This has never happened in the past for Jesus is reigning over the heathen which they have to go to Jerusalem every year to worship the LORD, and keep the feast of tabernacles.

And Jesus comes back with all the saints and defeats the world, and saves Israel.

Which blessed and holy is the person that has part in the first resurrection, and then the millennial reign will happen, which the resurrection has not happened yet for there are still saints on earth, so the millennial reign has not happened yet.
This proves you do not understand scripture the way Jesus taught.

I had to give you a RED X for that response Dave. Nothing personal, I just don't agree with your take on the millennium and end-time events in general. I don't believe that anyone has a complete understanding of prophecy but it is clear to me from scripture that the millennium is a physical event and that the events leading up to that are literally events that have not yet happened.
Do you think the kingdom arrived as Daniel says, in the time of the Roman Empire? You either agree with Jesus or you reject him and side with the Pharisees.

You have a one track mind. Prophecy serves many purposes. One of them was to build up the faith of the Apostles. Another purpose is to warn, yet another to prepare, yet another to call such as the case with Cyrus.
So why do you predict the future using prophecy?

Yes, the kingdom of God because it is spiritual. The kingdom of heaven, however, is physical. Both were at hand during the time of Christ. Only the spiritual is at hand at the present, but the physical kingdom will be restored to Israel in the Millennium.
The kingdom of God and the Kingdom of heaven is the same kingdom.

“the kingdom of Heaven is at hand” (Matt. 4:17) = “the kingdom of God is at hand” (Mark 1:15)
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven” (Matt. 5:3) = “Blessed are the poor, for yours is the kingdom of God” (Luke 6:20)

“Among those born of women there has not risen a greater than John the Baptist, notwithstanding he who is least in the kingdom of Heaven is greater than him.” (Matt. 11:11) = “Among those born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist, but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than him.” (Luke 7:28)

“the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven” (Matt. 13:11) = “the mysteries of the kingdom of God” (Mark 4:11 cp. Luke 8:10)
“the kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed” (Matt 13:31) = “the kingdom of God...is like a grain of mustard seed” (Mark 4:30-31 cp. Luke 13:18-19)

“The kingdom of Heaven is like leaven” (Matt. 13:33) = “the kingdom of God...is like leaven” (Luke 13:20)
“Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of Heaven” (Matt. 18:3-4) = “Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein” (Mark 10:15)

“Allow little children, and do not forbid them to come to me, for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.” (Matt. 19:14) = “Allow the little children to come to me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of God.” (Mark 10:14 cp. Luke 18:16)
“a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of Heaven” (Matt. 19:23) = “How hardly shall they who have riches enter into the kingdom of God!” (Luke 18:24)

In other words, the “kingdom of God” = “kingdom of Heaven.”

I would not make a blanket assumption that people don't understand prophecy. Remember, you are a people too. Of course, prophesy are words of God foretelling future events. Despite the blanket assumption it is probably the correct one in regards to what people think.

Yes, some prophecies from scripture have already been fulfilled but the particular prophecies were given before being fulfilled otherwise it would not be prophecy. Additionally, in order to qualify as a prophecy the fulfillment has to be 100% accurate.

Yes, there are a lot of vague prophecies that can only be readily understood after they have been fulfilled. Even this would require wisdom and discernment from God to ascertain the truth.
Many think prophecy are words of God foretelling future events, leading others astray . In the process they lose the importance that prophecy speaks to the now, the past as well as future. Prophecy remained on the tongue of God until he first moved Moses to bring the letter of the law and show by prophecy how it caused death in the beginning.

From my experiences Satan would have everyone believe its future and nothing has been fulfilled. So we must be careful how we hear in that way .

Prophecy is the the mind of God revealed to mankind. Adding other meaning to it can causes confusion.

Like today we have the perfect law of prophecy. There are no laws missing by which we could know him more
adequately. All future prophecy as been fulfilled .The next movement will be on the last day when death, the letter of the law (prophecy) is cast in the judgement fire . Prophecy comes in various manners .

God is no longer bring any new prophecies . The last is recorded and sealed.

So do you guys believe in a spiritual earth?
One created by a Spirit yes. He said by a work of His faith, labor of love. . . "let there be atoms and molecule" as rudiment of this creation and it was good.

Faithless mankind philosophizing the imagination of their hearts turned that upside down and made eternal God into a man. . . . formed from the rudiments of this world . Therefore taking away the workings of His Spirit in mankind over and over exposing him to public shame.

God is not a man.

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Can't find God by looking through a microscope or telescope.:geek: His living, abiding word is light and spirit giving. :)

David Jesus was talking of himself...."you will know that I am he"
David I so hope one day you would trust the holy spirit to lead you in the truths that you seek and you heart would be blessed and filled with amazment at the power of the savior. Your you tube search and theology books are misleading you.

God in the old testament gave many prophesies concerning future events. These prophesies had very detailed descriptions of how they would unfold. Sometimes they also included a time line.
Then there are prophesies without descriptions such as the 70 ad event. Jesus spoke of this but then gave a description of how it would go down.
Not one stone shall be upon another. God does not want to be known as the God of coincidence. But as he stated time and time again through Moses " behold the hand of the Lord".
End time prophesies are written in the old testament but now Jesus gives a detailed description of it unfolding.
Who else would know the details of future events other than that who is the begining and end....the alpha and omega....who was and is and is to come.
Anyone can say their a prophet of the Lord and depending on the prophecy ( good or bad) when something happens (good or bad) there's a" I told you so."
God doesn't work that way he gives a description of the why and how and sometimes the time.
In the much debated issue of the statement Jesus made on the end time event concerning the hour of his coming
Jesus said " no man knows when not even the son". Why is this????
I'll tell you why as the holy spirit told me.
We are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus. Who can tell when that grace will run out but God himself.
As in the days of Noah he gave 120 yrs. So the grace of the Lord will end but when?
So now we walk by grace in the time of sudden expectancy.... Eminence.
For the gentiles (which we are) have a allotted time to be fulfilled. But then what? What does God plan to do with a new creation that is not appointed to wrath?
Saved by grace from not only the wrath that is to come but also the second death. What's God going to do with us? Judgement has to come here on earth.
Will the promise to our father Abraham be broken will God judge the righteous with the wicked?

Furthermore a restoration is promised to the earth after the war of all wars Armageddon.
But yet some say no millennium so how does this take place? God chooses a time period for this the much debated 1000 yr reighn which is "the day of the Lord".

Why didn't they write the fulfillment of the prophecy along with it if the outcome was the same as the forecast?

Whitelaw says only 11 of 94 prophecies ever happened exactly as written. That means you will be wrong the remaining 83 times.

Wow. So now you are saying that the Scripture has been broken 83 times? That is not what Jesus said.

What if you are making errors, not hearing God or receiving Visions or Dreams?

How can YOU be sure your interpretations are any different than anyone else's?

Have you received Revelation from God? How could you without hearing or seeing?
