That depends on when you think we achieve salvation.
Do you think we achieve salvation on this Earth, in this life, or do you think we get saved on the day of judgement when we are not judged?
Titus 3:5
not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

Is this a completed action. or is it in the future?

You're making the mistake that others have made in this thread: you're conflating our requirement to keep God's commandments with 'salvation by works'.

I have already provided Hebrews 10:26 for you.
One line of out of context does not establish a doctrine. Newbie error.

This is WHY i ignored everything he said

But then he started calling me a coward and a liar

So I have since shown how afraid I am of him by standing in front of him and calling him out. and asking for proof of the lies he said I have made.

I mean If he wants, I can put him back, and just consider what I already know.. Where I had him in the first place unstill he opened his mouth..
Kudos to you EG... much appreciated.

So what do you say of people who call themselves Christians but live in sin?

I'll use one example (I could use many):
An open homosexual who says he follows Jesus.
been here done that

6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

A person who is struggling with 1 sin is not a person living in sin. If this is true, EVERYONE LIVES IN SIN..

You need to stop imposing your definitions on the word. and start to put the word as a whole..

You've allowed your view of the Bible to be based upon the interpretations of others, and shaped by 'accepted wisdom'.

Now, tell me you love me deeply.

Jesus said to keep his commandments, did he not?
Or is he lying?
lolol

James 2:10

For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.

James said if we stumble in just one point we are guilty

Is james wrong? Or is it just willfull homosexual sin which makes us guilty?

Does God love older Christians more than he does new Christians?

Do older Christians have a special gift to read the Bible that new Christians do not.

The trouble is that what I see is that people allow their reading of the Bible to be skewed by 'accepted wisdom' and 'long held dogma'.
ah, i see why you ran from answering how many times you have read the Bible all the way through.

because you probably have not even done so once...

Like I said, you appear to be mentally unstable.

funny. How do you know your view does not fit these very characteristics?
