I found this today and thought I'd share it. though what you've posted on The Prophetic movement does cause me to wonder where the people are being lead.... hm...
(I still think that God has it all under control and the HOLY Spirit should lead all people individually and they should test anyone who claims to receive a message from God with the words of the Holy Bible!
That being said I still believe spiritual gifts are Biblical and in use today, just that Satan has his counterfeits and fakes to lead people astray. GOD is more powerful and like Moses' snake ATE the Pharoah's snakes, so will the Holy Spirit destroy any bonds of darkness that try and blind or bind God's children.)

First, what is godly prophecy? It can be summed up as words that are spoken on behalf of God. A prophet or prophetess is one who is a spokesman for God. One is the "simple gift of prophecy" which every believer can express under the unction or direction of the Holy Spirit after they have been filled with the Holy Ghost.
The other is the "office gift" of the spirit which is given to a prophet or prophetess who is called to the "five-fold" ministry office as outlined in 1 Corinthians 12:28 which says "And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues." Also Ephesians 4:11-12 which says" And he gave some, apostles; and some prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ."
The basic difference between these two types is, the simple gift of prophecy is given to all spirit filled believers as spoken of in 1 Corinthians 14:31, "For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted." It is for the purpose of edification, exhortation and comfort as spoken of in 1 Corinthians 14:3, "But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort."
The "office gift" of a prophet or prophetess is given to speak to the body of Christ at large. The ministers who are called to the office of a prophetor prophetess will deliver messages also which include edification, exhortation and comfort but their messages can also be directive in nature and futuristic in content as well (Ephesians 4:11-15).
Presently God is leading His people with prophetic preaching and teaching. A prophetic movement is taking place in the world.

What Is Prophecy?

THE FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY
The Lord gave the church gifts of His choosing in the form of men and women who would lead the church into perfection (Ephesians 4:8-12).
It is the Lord who calls men and women to His ministry. He does not call special people, but the call goes out to "whosoever will." First, we are called to salvation; then as we walk in obedience to Him, He calls for us to be baptized in His Holy Spirit.
As we continue to obey and follow Him, He then may choose us to serve Him in a full-time ministry.
He chooses people for the ministry out of those who have walked in obedience to His other calls.
He desires that all follow, but can only choose those who are obedient.
These men and women who have answered the call are set in the ministry by Jesus Himself. Man's ordination does not qualify them, but the ordination of God does. Men will recognize those who are truly called by Him. They will even recognize women who are called of God as God empowers them with His anointing and power which cannot be denied.
God has used many modern day women in His service as well as women spoken of in the Bible. Madame Guyon, Catherine Booth, Jessie Penn-Lewis, Aimee Semple McPherson, Corrie Ten Boom and Kathryn Kuhlman are only a few of the women on the list of great five-fold ministry gifts to the church.
What are those gifts and that ministry?
"And His gifts were (varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us,) some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers'' (Ephesians 4:11, Amplified Bible.).

EXACTLY ! To believe otherwise is to discredit the complete fullness of Christ and His purpose to save the lost. Followers of modern day prophets and the Five-Fold ministry are here to show us "so much more" than Christ's sacrifice on the cross and His mere saving grace. But it is up to us to "want" it.

Personally zone: about me can be judged only one who came to God, you do judge others by yourself. Now on the other. By the last time God restore service to the prophets and apostles and restores already! In the first church service of the apostles and prophets was fundamental, and the last time it will again be so!

unclefester, I have always been told that miracles were for the unsaved. what about the basics: ministry, teaching, exhorting, charity, leadership, mercy and they include prophecy...

Praise God that you are doing well. My kids are better, ear infections and on antiboitics. their doctor is a very nice Christain lady from India who has a community garden that the kids and their parents help tend every Wed and then whenever the plants are ready to harvest she has a nutritionist come in and teach them about healthy eating and living. Thank God there is still humble christian's living and walking what the Bible says, reading about all these "heresies" makes you forget sometimes that God tells you to focus on HIM and go where HE leads. reading about all these "heresies" are rather distracting. I think I'll go read my Bible and listen to some music.

some how I highly doubt it,
we have the mind controlling brainwashing drugs, the TV evangelist ripping off the old people in nursing homes, the scams and one of the most popular show today is call "American IDOL", people denying the Trinity and the deity of Christ, denying that the Holy spirit still gives spiritual gifts, contempary Christain music, etc.
there will always be some groups, ideas, or individuals you don't agree with and you can nitpick at and criticize.
some will be justified and some will not. but having all the knowledge in the world is worthless without LOVE.

here's the cool part: this very verse is the one at the end of the teaching where paul says the miraculous apostolic and prophetic gifts given to receive the NEW TESTAMENT REVELATIONS AND DOCTRINES would CEASE with completed canon, but those three things would remain....huh.
see, the difference between us is that i've been quite busy for many years making sure i know what the basics of the christian faith are, what sound doctrine is, what false movements have come and are here, as well as history and current events so that i am INFORMED. it's work.
but you consider all this FUN. and being a spiritual warrior must be fun for sure...until the voices get louder and more confusing.
i don't spend my time groovin' to pop music, chillin' with angels and being their poetic scribe, demonbusting or uttering prophecies in the first Person claiming they came from Jesus.

You might as well say that God is dead, because if He cannot interact with His creation, as He chooses; and if He cannot speak to His people, then He is not going to waste His effort with us.
If God does not speak to us then we are truly dead to Him.

You all are backing yourselves into a very terrible trap of Satan by going against these warnings. It is very sad that you all cannot hear the voice of the Lord when he is speaking. Perhaps you will not find that you have spoken against a man, but against the Lord himself. Perhaps you will repent and be saved, not given to condemnation.

Ramon the scriptures testify about Jesus..contains His very words... You site scripture of isaiah why? how dare you site scripture and not what Jesus has now spoken to your heart...what? you refer to the scriptures because it is Gods word?..yeah..it is Gods word and worth refering too..

Not all of the prophets recognized even in ancient times. Even Christ was not recognized by many! Is it any wonder if they now can not be accepted! The prophet does not necessarily herald the future or can guess what you did today! Prophet builds the church by talking from God. We can say that all those who say today - all the prophets. And you zone, too, as you say very much, you are also a prophet! But what status you are a prophet is another question.
