Just to this part, not sure why you think "good works" equates to holiness/sanctification

We have no holiness/sanctification apart from God.
To the degree one loves one’s fellow man, to that degree and no more is one holy. Holiness is seen in how we treat others, not what we do during the worship service.
We are both sanctified (position) and also in experience (progressive). The progressive part only comes from God as well, it is His holiness we learn to live out.
If we refuse to work out our xxxxxxx with fear and trembling, He won’t do it painlessly while we sleep.
10 And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Hebrews 10:10

Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.
2 Corinthians 7:21
Notice WHO is cleansing us?

Good works don't have anything to do with receiving eternal life lest we boast.

Hebrews 10:24"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works". In that text am encouraged to stir others towards good works.

How am I supposed to stir them up to good works?

What is your understanding of good works?

What role do good works play in my salvation?

How should I start doing good works?

Will I go to heaven if I receive salvation by grace through faith yet be found guilty of murder, raping, etc?

I am saved but the Bible says if I confess my sins He is faithful and just to forgive me. Does that mean I will be found guilty at the judgement seat provided I don't confess my sins? Will receiving salvation by grace through faith save me on that day without having to confess my sins on earth?

Is good works and obeying God's commandments the same thing?

Are the authors using this words interchangeably:

Good works
Good deeds
The fruit of the Spirit
Christelike
Sigh:(

So many people misunderstand grace.. without proper understanding people always go to this illogical perverted conclusion.

The law does not bring righteousness... it actually Grace that is the power, (His divine influence in the heart of the saved) unto HOLY living.

Grace enables us to do that which we could not do under the law.

Paul states "grace and peace" in his letters.
Not "law and grace"

In reading this post I have to wonder if you believe salvation is a gift given in this life according to Ephesians 2:8

And you are conflating salvation with sanctification.

I was saved as a child. I don’t separate salvation and obeying the Living God. I’ve not much use for labels though or man thought up theological divisions. My desire is to know Him and the fellowship of his suffering. I mean it. I’m not simply claiming it as a good sounding goal.

I probably don’t fit well into the standard boxes but please feel free to question me or ask for clarification. I’d be very honored to share my position and will do my best to communicate.

"If the Bible says I have been saved yet in the end, I may not be saved.

Then I am not really saved at all.Salvation has come, it is not coming".

You may understand this explanation but some people will need more clarity. According to me, her explanation has different meanings making it difficult to reach a conclusion, or maybe I am just stupid, in that case she will have to explain it in a way that every person(intelligent, ignorant, slow etc) would understand what she is saying.

"I have been saved"
Past(I understand)

"Yet in the end I may not be saved"
Past, Present, future

"then I am not really saved".
Past, Present, future?

"Salvation has come, it is not coming"
Past, Present, future?. It is not coming(it's no longer future)

That is her explanation for "saved" and "salvation". Some people will not understand where she is coming from.

"I was saved the second I believed,
Past
""I am saved"
Present
"I will be saved"
Future
=Salvation( makes complete sense and does not have different meanings/appear ambiguous).

There is no such thing as the bible saying you are saved and in the end may not be saved.....One is eternally saved by faith or they have never been saved...! End of story!

"Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. " It is bad enough that some do not force themselves to keep the teaching of Jesus but then they do and tell others the same. Jesus does not think well of such evidenced by the above verse.
Yep....now read it with eyes wide open and tell where the ones who FAIL to do are located........here, I will help....

IN THE KINGDOM!!!

I was being facetious. I am so tired of hearing "you don't need to do any good works"..."whatever you do not think that any good thing you do for anyone will move God in your favor".....and so on.

My bible says to stir one another up to good works and this is the absolute opposite and is very very popular. I had had enough. Do any of them even try to stir up anyone to doing good works to others or is just warning them about not feeling any sort of hint that you might need to do something good for someone now and again?
Pull a quote from anyone of us saying the drivel you imply in this post....we will ALL WAIT!

You sound just like the rest of the false accusers....and just like a few x members....like FRAN OR MAYBE LEAST.....!!

I can assure you, that without holiness, (works), shall no one see God.
The only thing assured by your post....is that you embellished and added to the word of God......

Holiness -->Noun, the state kf being holy

Works -->noun, activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result.

This is exactly what I mean by the fruit of this theology. Those you disagree with can be verbally trashed cause works (giving a soft answer) is not required or encouraged. Thank you for demonstrating the fruit of the “you needs do nothing at all” theology.
Ok Least......! Go back to school....You needs do nothing at all.....wow!!

Actually I quoted a passage from memory. “Without holiness shall no man see God.”

I sometimes quote a bible verse without giving a warning to see if the thinking of another is biblical without the “better agree this time.”

Hebrews 12:14

So I neither embellished nor changed the Bible. You didn’t know that without holiness shall no man see God.

They forget Moses, David and other ot men of god who were guilty of those very things
They all like to pull the murder, adultry card like an ace of spades while not only being oblivious to the men of faith that sometimes had very wicked sins uncovered, but also the fact that a "little" white lie makes one as guilty as Charles Manson before God when it comes to sin that has not been covered by faith/blood/salvation!

A “no need to do any good work to anyone” believer for sure.

This is what I mean. Tell believer doing good to others is an optional extra if or when God decides to change you do you want to do so and this is the result.

Sure you did....you equated holoness to works....anyone with eyes can see what you implied.....and your implication was to take that verse, insert works, change the meaning and peddle your own version of scripture!
