If they’re like me then yes, they motivate people to bring the Kingdom of Heaven here to Earth, but for the sake of love, not for keeping salvation.
The Kingdom of heaven is very broad, why not narrow it down to "They motivate people to do good works, but for the sake of love, not for keeping salvation".

Does "good works" which is mentioned in the Bible make you feel uncomfortable?

Jesus told the story of two sons, one had a bad attitude and refused to obey. One was full of agape love but didn’t obey. Jesus said the obedient son with the bad attitude received approval. Just thought I’d throw in Jesus view on attitude and obedience.
Chapter, verse, and WHAT TRANSLATION, PLEASE.

A “no need to do any good work to anyone” believer for sure.

This is what I mean. Tell believer doing good to others is an optional extra if or when God decides to change you do you want to do so and this is the result.
They need to come up with a bs emoji.....!! It would apply to your non factual post

I quoted the Bible verbatim.
You can skew it all you want in dishonesty and EVERYONE can see YOU ADDED the word ->"works" and implied that is what HOLINESS MEANS....another dishonest person.....they ought to have a lie detector page one must pass before they can post.....amazing how many say or imply something and then, with it is black and white for all to see, will DENY what they said and or implied.....wow....!!

But your not sticking to the same story. You seem to have understood the above words and also added more to it in your previous post, now you are against the same words that you once understood and defended.
If you believe this...you either did not read what I have written and or...did not understand what I wrote.....!!

Wha
I want to address that statement that I put in RED in your post.

You did not really read all of my post did you ? ? ?

ONCE WE ARE BORN AGAIN, HE CHANGES our HUMAN SPIRIT to I WANT TO DO THOSE THINGS, so if you NEVER WANT TO DO THOSE THINGS, OR I HAVE TO DO THOSE THINGS, you have deceived yourself into believing you are already BORN AGAIN, in my opinion.

Only BORN AGAIN Christians go to Heaven.

John 14:15 (HCSB)
15 “If you love Me, {Equals BORN AGAIN to OUR BELIEF.}

you will keep My commands. {Does not imply PERFECTION in the Greek, but an ongoing striving to keep.}

1 John 5:3 (HCSB)
3 For this is what love for God is: to keep His commands. Now His commands are not a burden,
{It means it really is a BURDEN, unless YOU ARE REALLY BORN AGAIN, THEN THE LOVE IN US REMOVES THE BURDEN of an ACT of AGAPE LOVE.}

You see, most of us on this site are GENUINE OSAS BELIEVERS, and FRIENDS, and YOUR IMPRESSION of what OSAS means, is purely false.

The attitude you run into is purely Frustration. BECAUSE, we have been here throughout approximately the pasts 3 years, and have been watching the here a little while then move on, the parade on non-OSAS fans, that come in and START ATTACKING our Beliefs, with the same misinformation about what we believe and don't believe in. AND IT IS ALMOST ALL FALSE INFORMATION. Do not worry, I am not upset, as I have a thicker hide than most, because I used to be a Volunteer Chaplain in two of the California supermax prisons. I am 71 years of age, and I HAVE Heard what you want to believe about us, over, and over, but honest it is FALSE INFORMATION. Do me a favor, Ask any question you want, but loose the accusatory statements about what you want to believe OSAS teaches and believe, because almost all of it is a pure Falsehood. I hope you will soon learn what we really TEACH AND BELIEVE, and then when you make a statement about OSAS it will be the absolute truth. I do not might that you don't believe the way I do, but this constant False Statements about our Beliefs, should become the TRUTH eventually, I PRAY.

My wife and I moved to a lot of towns from Nebraska, to California, to Nevada, and now after my wife passed away, I moved back to Nebraska. So I have been in a lot of Evangelical type of CHURCHES. Community Churches, Evangelical Free Churches, Independent Baptist, Southern Baptist, Grace Bretheran Church, Bible Churches, Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bible Fellowship Churches, and ALL OF THEM TAUGHT THE CORE OF OUR BELIEFS, JUST LIKE I DO. Therefore, your understanding of what YOU THINK OSAS Doctrines are, is totally in error.

Thank you, for letting me EXPLAIN some of our beliefs. Ask any question about what we BELIEVE, and I will tell you the truth, so you can discard the FALSE STATEMENTS.
Please explain the meaning of OSAS?

They forget Moses, David and other ot men of god who were guilty of those very things
I like that, they were after God's heart( had a relationship with God and had a change of heart).

Saul was not a man after God's heart and was therefore rejected by God, however, David was different in that he was a man after God's heart.

Am referring to people that are saved but have a dead conscious, all they do is lip service. They never remain in Christ in order that the fruit of the spirit might be produced in them and they always conform to the pattern of this world.

Your idea that they are saved or ever were is flawed

They all like to pull the murder, adultry card like an ace of spades while not only being oblivious to the men of faith that sometimes had very wicked sins uncovered, but also the fact that a "little" white lie makes one as guilty as Charles Manson before God when it comes to sin that has not been covered by faith/blood/salvation!
The murder and adultery card is something that all grace preachers fail to explain adequately. Most become defensive and angry when asked that question. Just like most become defensive and angry when told that it is not by works. Our Interpretation of scripture will never be perfect, we can only wish it were so.

There will always be difficult questions to answer irregardless of which idea one holds on to.

I didn't say the Old Testament people were saved. I said "They were after God's heart".

The "saved" part is where am referring to the New Testament believers or those who are saved by grace through faith in Christ.
Note the difference there.

Thank you for the prayer.

Wha

Please explain the meaning of OSAS?

It is a Literal Interpretation of a great number of Scriptures. Where you find both Litereal and Symbolic interpretation, YOU MUST use the Literal Interpretation, according to Evangelical thinking. So when JESUS SAYS,
John 10:28 (HCSB)
28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish—ever! No one will snatch them out of My hand.

Since we know the BODY will die, we KNOW it MUST be interpreted literally as the HUMAN SPIRIT is birthed into ETERNAL LIFE by the Holy Spirit, and it will NEVER DIE. NO ROOM FOR LOSING ONE'S SALVATION, or abandoning belief in JESUS CHRIST, when one is TRULY BORN AGAIN. It will probably be of more value as I will post SCRIPTURE, that supports OSAS Churches TEACH about being SAVED, and about BORN AGAIN, so there is a lot more verses than this, that teach OSAS, so I will limit it to one page:

1 Thessalonians 1:5 (NASB)
5 for our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction; just as you know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake.

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Titus 3:5-7 (HCSB)
5 He saved usnot by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
6 He poured out this ⌊Spirit⌋ on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.

Romans 4:3-5 (NET)
3 For what does the scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."
4 Now to the one who works, his pay is not credited due to grace but due to obligation.
5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous, his faith is credited as righteousness.

Ephesians 4:30 (NKJV)
30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God,
by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

{There is a major OSAS VERSE!}

Ephesians 1:13-14 (HCSB)
13 When you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed in Him, you were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.
14 He is the down payment of our inheritance, for the redemption of the possession, to the praise of His glory.

><>

Romans 11:29 (HCSB)
29 since God’s gracious gifts and calling are irrevocable.

Ephesians 2:4-5 (HCSB)
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us,
5 made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NJB)
8 Because it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith; not by anything of your own, but by a gift from God;
9 not by anything that you have done, so that nobody can claim the credit.

Romans 5:8-11 (HCSB)
8 But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!
9 Much more then, since we have now been declared righteous by His blood, we will be saved through Him from wrath.
10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, ⌊then how⌋ much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by His life!
11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We have now received this reconciliation through Him.

1 Corinthians 15:10 (HCSB)
10 But by God’s grace I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not ineffective. However, I worked more than any of them, yet not I, but God’s grace that was with me.

1 Peter 1:3-5 (HCSB)
3 Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
4 and into an inheritance that is imperishable, uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.
5 You are being protected by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

Romans 11:6 (NASB)
6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace.

Philippians 1:6 (HCSB)
6 I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 3:5 (HCSB)
5 ⌊It is⌋ not that we are competent in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our competence is from God.

Philippians 2:13 (HCSB)
13 For it is God who is working in you, ⌊enabling you⌋ both to desire and to work out His good purpose.

Ephesians 1:11-14 (HCSB)
11 We have also received an inheritance in Him, predestined according to the purpose of the One who works out everything in agreement with the decision of His will,
12 so that we who had already put our hope in the Messiah might bring praise to His glory.
13 When you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed in Him [Long before you can do your first work, so Obedience is Part of your Agape Love, that you do after you are SAVED.], you were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.
14 He is the down payment of our inheritance, for the redemption of the possession, to the praise of His glory.

2 Timothy 2:19 (ESV)
19 But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.”

John 10:27-28 (HCSB)
27 My sheep hear My voice, I know them, and they follow Me.
28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish—ever! No one will snatch them out of My hand.

2 John 1:2 (HCSB)
2 because of the truth that remains in us and will be with us forever.

><>

We teach that Obedience has NEVER been part of Salvation, HOWEVER, Obedience is part of Our AGAPE LOVE, Rom. 5:5.

John 14:15 (HCSB)
15 If you love Me [Born Again], you will keep My commands.

1 John 5:3 (HCSB)
3 For this is what love for God is: to keep His commands. Now His commands are not a burden, [when done out of Agape Love.]

Ephesians 6:24 (HCSB)
24 Grace be with all who have undying love for our Lord Jesus Christ.

ALL THESE ARE INTERPRETED LITERALLY IN OSAS DOCTRINE.

well I did not accuse you of saying they were, although i believe they were

yes, if they are saved, then they are saved, to,say thei salvation can be lost is to declair they were never really saved to begin with,

Actually my experience is no matter how many times it is explained, no answer is acceptable.

This question is only important to those who have feel their personal worthiness/effort is necessary for salvation.

The born again believer who understands saving grace knows all sin was dealt with at the cross.

Please show me in the Bible( New Testament)where people were saved, lived an ungodly life, never repented etc and went to heaven. Don't show me people that were saved, made mistakes/sinned,repented and went to heaven.

There are stories of people who were saved, died and went to hell( they blame that to not living a godly life). Then resurrected from the dead and given a second chance. Well I cannot tell if their telling the truth or not but that's their experience.
