Ask & you shall receive. First of all Idolatry is the worship of another God other than YHWH. LBJ & myself both believe in & worship this God of the Bible. The TRUTH is God's Word not twisted around to match a particular doctrine or tradition of man. God, YHWH will not ask me your silly question for he will already know from my heart that I love him & worship him only. According to scripture Jesus is YHWH's Son, Yeshua, Emmanuel. I also believe God has given him all authority over heaven & earth until all his enemies have been defeated. Then Yeshua turns his kingdom back over to the Father. I don't fully understand how the God of my Bible works, all I know is that I must follow him & obey because I love him for what he has done for me.

So, lets get this straight Tigger you do not believe Jesus is God?

What you call warning, most would call condemnation, of which you have no right to do. How do you figure him, & me I might add, to be Idolatrous. Neither of us worship anything other than what scripture says! The central belief of Christianity is that Christ was the Son of God, died on a cross, was resurrected by the Father, ascended to heaven & sent back his Holy Spirit to strengthen all mankind to fight the enemy. I have no idea what you believe, but the way you make accusations of others I want no part of it. LBJ would be welcome at our little Christian gatherings anytime & would even be asked to be a guest speaker occasionally. You however with your show of hatred for people who don't conform to your theology would not be welcome!!
By all means, invite him to your church and pay his way and let him teach your little gathering. He claims that he is a man of the Spirit and has all the qualifications through the gifts of the Spirit being validated and through living a righteous life through grace. Give him the opportunity if you are in agreement with him. That should bless and honor him and edify your local gathering. That would be a kind gesture.

Just re read your post Tigger, you see no evidence of Idolatry.

In LBG's view Jesus is like another sort of God, I take you have read his posts??? do you agree with this.
I don't need to re read anything. My comprehension skills are quite up to snuff. I have never read LBJ ever saying Jesus was some other sort of God. Jesus was God's plan of salvation for us from before the foundation of the world. Scripture plainly states he is the Son of God. Now if you want to get really technical, since everything had to originate from YHWH then he (Yeshua) along with everything else that come from God is God .

You don't need to understand how God works, just to love him and his son and trust in Christ and I am sure you do that

You are justified in your heart, not your head

I have only said that I believe in the gifts of the Spirit and speak in tongues. Why can you not be honest and always have to add to statements or tell untruths
Why do I ask that, I know the answer already

Tigger in accordance with Heb 1:8&9
I have said that the Father refers to Christ with the title God, but still says he is Christ's God, it is plainly written, but some just like to twist your words I am afraid

well, he does not believe Jesus is God, do yuo believe that aswell, if you havent read what he ahs said over his various posts then just ask, but he will be very ambigious by just saying son of God, but what he really believes is that Jesus is not God.

now lets look closer at what you are saying:

Now if you want to get really technical, since everything had to originate from YHWH then he (Yeshua) along with everything else that come from God is God
everything that comes from God is God??? w the earth originated from God, as did humans are we god, are the animals?

so are we gods like Jesus or is Jesus not god? your staement is very ambigious as to your meaning

You obviously don't!

LBG,

Your questions have been answered time and time again. As i said you do not believe Jesus is God, that is totally upto you. If you cannot believe who Jesus said He was well, thats your descision.

You most certainly have not answered all of the questions I put a while ago many of them are new, but I doubt once again you will have any answers for them

Empty vessels and all that

And you continue to be untruthful and say my questions have been answered time and time again when most have not
Where are your Christian morals, maybe you believe in thevtype of grace Red does, anything goes but you are still saved

Yes I will Phil but first I will recap a bit

You go to a church that does not preach plainly from the pulpit what must and must not be believed to have eternal life(notice I lump both together)

You are not honest concerning the questions of mine you say you have answered, so you do not always tell the truth, and you infer I belioeve things I do not
Where are your Christian ,morals?
I guess you believe in the type of grace Red does, anything goes

He believes that if a conversion experiance is claimed and immediately after this and for the next TEN YEARS a person continuously/ceaselessly/constantly gets drunk, has affairs, beats their wife and does not read a bible they are still in all. probability in a saved state
I guess you must feel that way about grace too as you think nothing of being untruthful, oh well, two peas in a pod as it were

Good night

But are you saying that in your church it is plainly preached from the pulpit that if a person believes Christ is the son of God but not God Himself he can have no eternal life. No I do not believe your chiurch plainly states that

So tell me truthfully, am I wrong?

And if I am will you provide a link to a sermon so I can download it

And wil you answer fully what I have put to you without deviation, that would be novel!

Have you no courage to be forthright and honest?

Was there not a man that validated your gift of the Spirit?

I thought I had already told you this

I was not prayed with for to speak in tongues, it was just me acting on faith to believe that I may.

A couple of years later I went to a meeting with a few others where an Evangelist was preaching. After the service some of us went into a side room for prayer. I had not met the Evangelist before but when they prayed for me they told me much about my life and confirmed that my speaking/praying in tongues was genuine.
