You are the master of irony and I know a meltdown when I see one. You need to man up and stop trying to justify your meltdown.
You're desperately trying to find fault because you can't accept the fact that I don't agree with your precious osas doctrine.
You're acting like the very baby in Christ I called you out for being.

I just don't think you comprehend very well.
I believe that a person can lose (not 'loose') their salvation.
That's not the part you are twisting.
Then you would be wrong.. a person who is justified cannot lose their salvation or become unjustified... and your rational for how it happens is also NOT in scripture.

Like I stated the GIFT of salvation is irrevocable (clearly stated) and it is not received over a life time nor maintained over a lifetime by our self - effort.

One event ..... "born from above" happens in an instant.

I'll be glad to address them as time permits.
Hello Mr Judges. Have you seen this message/plea from @Rosemaryx ? I am passing it on to you. . .

Hi @Judges1318 ...
I am not sure to be honest if you have me on ignore , and the reason I say this is because I reached out to you to ask for your forgiveness about my attitude towards you a little while back , but you did not reply to me...
Then I made an open appoligy to you on the NBW forum , tagging your name , but you still did not reply...

I stepped out off line a few times towards you , and admitted I was acting from my flesh , I knew it was wrong , but I am just wondering why you never replied to me , or maybe you do have me on ignore ...
Could you please reply to this message if you see it please and thank you...

So in the entire old testament (before Christ came) God was angry with Israel time and again because they repeatedly failed to focus on themselves by obeying the law; thereby focusing away from God?
Not true. If they focused on god the law would have taken care of itself they broke the law because they were focused on self

where did you learn to say foolish things like this?
Where did you meant the foolish thought focusing on the law would make Anyone a righteous person

That’s not it at all and you fail to see the irony. Why don’t you just give it a rest.

Nonsense!

God himself told them over and over and over that they would not hear his law, nor obey his commandments.

He never once said that they stopped focusing on him.

If I missed that scripture, please show me where it is.

Hi Judges..it is scripture that a born again can never ever be taken out of the hands of Jesus..the reason being God gave us to Jesus.
I will look up the scripture and post it..unless someone else does it before me.
There is more than one passage which insinuates this fact but the passage you want is John 10

There is scripture that says that they forsook him and forgot him; but it all tied in to worshipping other gods and turning away from his commandments.

And many professing believers say that they know God, but in works they deny him.

Yep

Because they did not look to him they loved their sin

If your not looking to god your not going to obey him

You can be looking to God and still not obey him.

Jesus himself rebuked those who look to God, but do not obey him (Mark 7:7)

In vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold he tradition of men.

OSAS = Tradition of men.

This tradition only continues because scripture is laid aside by technical pedantic jargon.

Titus 1:15 - To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. 16 They “profess” to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

Key word - “profess” to know God, but their works show otherwise.

You're welcome to ignore me because of my doctrine. I do that to people when I think it's time to do that. Just don't ignore me because you have shrunk down into personal grudges and the sort. That is what these other people are doing. But they are certainly entitled to ignore me based on my beliefs alone. But they've taken it way past that into a personal grudge, which if you want, I will explain the history of and will help you see how wrong they are to act the way they are. It's an ugly picture, trust me.
Looks like most people who are against your views are OSAS believers. You probably went to the "Not by works" thread and challenged their beliefs. So now it's pay back time.

I think your civil, informative and your also a great teacher.

Learn from the constructive criticism and ignore any destructive comebacks.

I looked up the word profess just the other day (I often double-check word meanings in my attempts to be as accurate as possible) and was a little dismayed to find that the primary meaning is: claim that one has (a quality or feeling), especially when this is not the case :censored:

They honor with their lip but hearts far from me

That’s called lip service

It does not support your view

And your wrong you can not look to serve god and not be a person who follows his commands

In vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold he tradition of men.

Lol. Your teaching the same thing the Jews followed

Don’t be like them come to God stop relying on self

Yes, as the primary definition, though much softened and even absent of pretense in the secondary definitions :)

- to lay claim to, often insincerely; pretend to: He professed extreme regret.
- to declare openly; announce or affirm; avow or acknowledge: to profess one's satisfaction.
- to affirm faith in or allegiance to (a religion, God, etc.).
- to declare oneself skilled or expert in; claim to have knowledge of; make (a thing) one's profession or business.

It did give me pause :giggle:

(To give pause: To cause one to take a moment to consider something; to cause one to hesitate.) ;):D:geek:
