Hi Judges, how are you holding onto God?
By believing in your mind?
By continuing to trust in the blood of Christ for the forgiveness of sin.
I'm holding onto the faith that God has given me to believe/trust in Christ.
The Bible tells us to hold onto faith, not discard it as the unbeliever/ ex-believer has done.

It’s understandable.

OSAS does not relate to scripture.

Anyone bewitched by OSAS would naturally be opposed to someone preaching the truth of the Bible.
So sad you think god is a liar and can’t keep his promises

And even sadder you think you can meet his requirement

Why do you continue to misrepresent my view?
Nobody has the power in and of themselves to trust in Christ.
You can only believe/trust in Christ through the power of God's gift of faith.
That's why the Bible tells us to hold on to faith.
You can't trust in Christ without it.
So if I stop believing it n what you just said

God failed

Because I could never believe myself anyway

I do not misrepresent you. You keep proving me right about everything you try to defend yourself

Jackie I guess this is the best time to ask this: "speaking of dummies" (me lol) what does OSAS mean
OSAS is an acronym for the term and nice a person is saved they are always saved. Ie. Salvation can. It be lost because it could Never be earned

It has many names

Eternal life

Eternal security

Seal of the spirit

Eternally saved

Justified by grace through faith not if works

To name a few

It means once a person is made alive in Christ and given the spirit as a seal that life is eternal as apposed to conditional

And I am being completely serious....that I don’t believe that you are born again...no offence meant.
No offense taken. I know I'm completely and totally saved.

It's all about me,me,me,self, self self with you.
You'll have to get past vague cliches like this to understand the role of 'you' in salvation.
I know that the center of your misunderstanding is this matter of 'believing' and who does it for you.

Trust me, if God did your believing for you, he'd do a much better job than you or I have done at it.
God gave us the faith to believe. He provided what we needed so that we can trust him.
That's not a works gospel. Paul clearly puts 'believing/trusting' on the opposite side of the works that can not justify.

No, God would fail if he failed at giving you and I the faith to believe/trust in Christ. That he will never do.
You and I fail him if we decide to discard the power of faith he has given us to do our believing/trusting through, choosing to not believe anymore.

What truly is sad is that you think most of the New Testament doctrine of holiness is a self works Manual.

You will never meet the requirements of holiness believing in OSAS.

So you have to willfully and by your power keep in faith

Got it!

Yep. Power of works
