I didn't say you said it. Anyone can see that. You said Adam likely knew, and I said I would not use that term and gave the reason why.

PLUS, Scripture explicitly states that Adam was NOT deceived.

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
1 Tim 2:14
So what was his state of mind? Saying he wasn’t deceived is not saying what he was.

Saying Adam was "likely" not deceived is false/misleading when Scripture plainly states he was not deceived.

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

If you wait until you feel like obeying the teachings of Christ you are likely not to do so often... only when his will and your will happen to be the same.
ok, Dot. I see where you are. It’s not obeying His teachings per se, but following the leading of Holy Spirit.

I know you don’t care much for the Jews, but you actually are thinking like them. Doing the commandments. By hook or by crook by golly.

The new and living way. This is abundant life.

Am not saying be lawless either. We have a love for His Word....who is the person, our Lord Jesus Christ.

If you had ever mourned you’d know that those mourning and in very deep misery.
That would be completely incorrect, there are varying degrees of mourning as there is with any emotion.

in Genesis it says that Adam was with her when she ate.

Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Showing that he knew what he was doing yet he ate anyway. He wasn’t deceived by the serpent.

I have thought He was demonstrating His mastery over the elements of His creation.
You’re right, but it was done through faith and prayer. When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. And I know that you always hear me...“ This is a testament to Jesus‘ faith and the power of prayer. I only seek truth, and if I’m incorrect please tell me.

I agree,

Jesus displayed/revealed both His humanity and his Divinity ... I think this is crucial to recognize.

Jesus teaches us that everything He accomplished was done by the power of God through faith. It’s exactly how grace is afforded to those who place their faith in Christ.

Amen....power of God Through faith......I had a vision many yrs ago....that vision is coming to pass by the power of God Through Faith...it’s amazing watching it unfold....you can actually feel his power....it’s like a moth being drawn to a flame....but very slowly...in ..God’s timing and strength...nothing can thwart that plan/ vision he showed me for my life.

You have a lovely attitude :)

Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a furious storm
came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping.
The disciples went and woke him, saying, "LORD, save us! We're going to drown!" He
replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the
winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked,
"What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!"
Matthew 8:23-27

A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped.
Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him,
“Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves,
“Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples,
"Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" They were terrified and asked each other,
"Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!"
Mark 4:37–41

One day Jesus said to his disciples, "Let us go over to the other side of the lake." So they
got into a boat and set out. As they sailed, he fell asleep. A squall came down on the lake,
so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger. The disciples went and
woke him, saying, "Master, Master, we're going to drown!" He got up and rebuked the wind and
the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. "Where is your faith?" he asked his
disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, "Who is this? He commands even
the winds and the water, and they obey him."
Luke 8:22-25

Jesus did ask where their faith was, but the three gospels that portray this
incident say nothing to the effect that Jesus prayed the storm away.

I trust you will receive this in the Spirit of love with which it was given :)

I find it interesting in reading these three accounts that Jesus asked, "Where is your faith?"

He displayed the power of His faith and so they could also witness the power of faith for themselves so they could be encouraged in

what they would be able to do through faith in His name because of His Divinity.
