I remember our conversation Dottie and how you spoke of being in Israel, and what you saw. Being married to a Jew, it stuck fully in my mind.
Nothing like marrying someone who doesn’t share in the most important aspect of life. That’s quite telling.

Good question Rosemary. I’ve always wondered why they dropped their work and lef
t with Jesus. I know they were looking for Messiah to come did they think they would get in on the ground floor of a new business so to speak? What were they expecting at the time?
Not sure , I mean Matthew was living a pretty good life money wise , protected by the romans...

Matthew 9:9
9 As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.

Lol

sorry that came out in the wrong order. Was laughing at Dots post that we all are stubborn believers.
A lie. I didn’t say you are all stubborn believers. I indicated you are which I gather bugged you so you decided I said that of everyone which I Did not.

You insist your memory of me is more accurate than me knowing who I am and I dislike Jews. You are dead wrong but refuse to admit I might just know me better than you do. You are demonstrating stubbornness that Soul said no christians do. Just you, Stone. Not everyone by any means.

No need to be upset, JR. Just give thanks to God you are not imprisoned by such a Spirit and pray for her release.

Amen!....this time I have her on ignore..I know I’ve said it many times...I mean it this time...she upsets my Spirit.

I’ve never wondered if I was saved nor doubted it in over 40 years, not once. And no, not me talking to God but God talking to me which He has done since childhood.
I don’t think about my salvation at all. It isn’t a focus of my theology. Knowing God is my focus.
I refute it because it’s false. It makes you all focus on YOUR salvation as the end. There is more. Some are hungry for more.
That’s all you guys seem to think of, you’re being forgiven and being saved. There is so much more. Not at all
You know a constant accuser has no credibility.

Not sure how you cannot think about your salvation, second by second since your small "s" saviour has an expiry date and you are now on your own...but be that as it may ...... another false dogma you refuse to address.

I see how you dance around things...I am well studied in art of dance by the way....so let us cut to the finale.

I do not want to read about your experiences right now.... what does a person do under your dogma to lose salvation?

Well, you don’t think we’ll of me but think I don’t like Jews. If you’re not honest enough to admit what word describes that sort of person, then you should consider transparency.
Dottie, what I know is what you have told me personally. Those things are no one else’s business. But, some of them IMO, just might be the reason why your emphasis is More on obedience than grace.

Grace is Holy Spirit within. Something no one had until Jesus. This is a gift. The greatest gift man could ever receive. Plus, He gives us this gift only because we obey His Word by belief. What we believe about His Son is most important to Father. It pleases Him when we believe His Word. He is good and He withholds nothing that is good from us. We just ask.

I love Israel and the people. But, their thinking is based on doing good. This knowing of good and evil is the “tree” that Jesus put to death. Otherwise we are in a constant state of condemnation.

The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set us free from the law of sin and death, and the 10 commandments are now the inward desire, not the outward demand. The ability is from Him alone.

I should have written He is a gift. Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Father, yet when we need? He can take on form as a person. How can we understand Him? By faith in it is written. And faith brings result.

Start a thread about discussing one’s relationship with God. I’ll partake.
That’s fairly personal. I gave my own testimony and some here had no scruples ridiculing it. Doesn’t bother me as it was very very long ago.

I’ll respect that right.

To lose the gifts, the Holy Spirit, God gives is to quench it and leave believing and instead reject God and His Kingdom. I know some who have. It isn’t sudden and He pursues those who do this. But if a believer insists on leaving, in the end that wish will be accepted.

Well now I have something to work with.

What does it mean to be "justified" because I cannot understand how it would be defined when you have this dogma that Christ has not paid for all your sins from the beginning of your life until your death?

I never said anything about him. He himself agonizes over his own people. Don’t read into posts what isn’t there.

You bring out what you think I said or drop it because it is a bold faced lie. I have no dislike for Jews at all. Your memory is 100% WRONG. You can trust your faulty memory but you’re still wrong.

I’m sure you’re convinced of this and will not budge just like you think I dislike Jews. No discussing with someone who insists they know the other (whom they’ve never met) better than the self.

That doesn’t describe me but you won’t believe it.

Doesn’t He warn you not to falsely accuse others of evil???

He who keeps my teaching the Father will love... and we will come and make our home in Him.

because I care JR. I want to see her set free.

Only God can set her free,...I think we all need to pray for her.....for what I’ve been told she’s been at it for yrs...this false teaching and from what I see it’s getting worse.

Pray for a miracle of a break through from God I say...in Jesus Name....Amen!

So you complain that we OSAS believers supposedly don’t talk about our relationship with God then state it’s fairly personal to do so. Yep, you’re a chick.
