Show me the VERSE that says the SIN NATURE had been obliterated out of the flesh?
Either you as a Christian reckon the flesh obliterated or beware of the following and learn from it:

1 Corinthians 5:5
[5] To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

The TRUE security the Bible offers is peace with God.
And there is one way only one way to obtain this.

Rom 5:1
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
And verse 2 clearly states that because of this PEACE we are NOW positioned IN GRACE WHEREIN WE NOW STAND....

Where sin abounds.....GRACE ABOUNDS THE MORE!

Quite frankly I'm not saying that's it is not possible. What I am saying is that that is not the path to salvation! Purporting that Christians are to remain, and must remain sinless for the rest of their natural born lives in order to stay saved IS A HERESY! Clearly.
I am saying it is impossible.....John was clear, spoke in present tense and used himself as an example.

If WE say that WE have NO SIN, WE are deceived and the truth is not in US.

This is clear, John writes almost 20% of the N.T....was the disciple that Jesus loved, could not be killed by the ROMANS and he included himself 4 times in the above verse.....

We can sin less, we can cut certain sins by the power of CHRIST, but NO ONE is sinless and or will be while in this body of flesh!

You are hilarious.......you would not understand or properly apply context even if it was in 30 foot tall neon letters right in front of your face and flashing in 4 different colors!

Isaiah 55:1-3

An Invitation to Abundant Life
1 “Ho! Everyone who thirsts,
Come to the waters;
And you who have no money,
Come, buy and eat.
Yes, come, buy wine and milk
Without money and without price.
2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
And let your soul delight itself in abundance.
3 Incline your ear, and come to Me.
Hear, and your soul shall live;
And I will make an everlasting covenant with you—
The sure mercies of David.

John 4:14
14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

John 6:27-29
27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”
28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”
29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

John 6:35
35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

Simple really.

Dc, you know full well that “paid in full” appears no where in scripture.

1 John 2:2
[2] And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

The whole world. Not the whole world’s future sins after whosoever in it believes the gospel.
https://bible.org/question/what-does-greek-word-tetelestai-mean

"The word tetelestai was also written on business documents or receipts in New Testament times to show indicating that a bill had been paid in full. The Greek-English lexicon by Moulton and Milligan says this:

“Receipts are often introduced by the phrase [sic] tetelestai, usually written in an abbreviated manner...” (p. 630). The connection between receipts and what Christ accomplished would have been quite clear to John’s Greek-speaking readership; it would be unmistakable that Jesus Christ had died to pay for their sins."

So tell me, how did you learn how to properly apply the OSAS contextual apparatus to scripture?

Where did the Bible writers tech this secret interpretative science?

Where sin abounds.....GRACE ABOUNDS THE MORE!
Paul posed the question to those who would abuse grace by falsely concluding that grace would abound were sin would abound:

Romans 6:1-2
[1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Romans 6:6
[6] Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

A true believer, according to the word of God, reckons his body destroyed and crucified.

Galatians 5:24
[24] And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Sure it does genius.....go study IT IS FINISHED and then gain biblical knowledge!
The sacrifice of the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the word is finished.

Each believer’s conduct in that finished work is not finished until he dies or is taken up at the twinkling of an eye (if he is found to be worthy of such a transition). Therefore watch, for ye know not the hour your Master will return.

Re: Christians no longer sin after believing.
I've rarely heard such a ridiculous claim so well defended. Kudos on your defense while shaking my head in disbelief upon the stance you are taking.

Aside: I am not sure why so many are spending so much time trying to argue against a clearly fictitious claim.

Your past sins were not forgiven until the moment you believed sir.

That is BIBLE!

Incorrect

For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son
Romans 5:10

Notice this verse says we were reconciled while we were enemies, not after we become friends with God.

Our job is to believe in what has already been done on our behalf.

How does this even make sense?

that finished work is not finished
All conduct is within that finished work.

No where does scripture state we prove ourselves "worthy" to receive salvation.

Worthy is the Lamb

No one else.

No where does scripture state we prove ourselves "worthy" to receive salvation.
And no where did I say that you needed to prove yourself worthy to receive salvation.

Only that you need to walk worthy of the vocation you received freely and take heed to the warning passages in the scripture.

Paul is explaining why the gospel was needed and why a reconciled person should glory in such a wonderful gospel, Not why willful sin after belief will be atoned for.

The COMPLETED work of the cross...
atonement
sacrifice
propitiation
forgiveness,
reconciliation
redemption
and more....

There is no partial in any of these.

You simply cannot let "you" go, can you?

You make your "sin" the issue because you have a problem with the Grace of God
Until you accept "the grace extended to you" your gaze is forever in the wrong direction and you stay in bondage.

I have accepted the grace, Eleven.

Now I feel compelled by the word of God to walk worthy of that grace.

No matter how much my flesh was at war with the word of God I had to obey the word; executing the flesh in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Yes here we have the "straddle both lanes" rhetoric.

I am "saved by grace through faith" but only WHILE I maintain it "by my effort through good works (worthy walk)"

God himself provided the Lamb... you cannot add to that gift in any way.

Sounds a lot like this passage:

Philippians 2:12
[12] Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

There’s that word “work”.
