The Pharisee thought he was righteous by his works.

Our brothers here do not believe this. This kind of stuff makes you look bad man. I mean really.
I couldn’t care less how I look in man’s eyes discussing the arrogance of heretical cultists.

Here is their doctrine...

1) selected by God (to the exclusion of others)

2) effectually called by the Spirit (to the exclusion of others)

3) particularly redeemed by Christ (to the exclusion of others)

4) made regenerate and given faith (to the exclusion of others)

5) will preserver in grace and faith by the power of God both in this world and for eternity (to the exclusion of others).

You are making an assumption on his state of being, not sure that is a good thing either.

For myself since I will not speak for others, I am only angry at the dogma.
As my prior post showed it is elitist and of God.

Amazing how people who believe they are God’s chosen are arrogant rather than humble. (Usually but not always)

Exactly. I despise the dogma, but when confrontational, I’m not angry, I’m simply knocking them down a necessary peg or two.

He as much as said the Calvinist was like a pharisee

That’s just plain dumb

I do not care who you are when you say stuff like that you make yourself look bad and all those who believe like you look bad

Righteous indignation is exactly that.
That’s not righteous indignation my friend. Righteous indignation does
Not make a huge mistake such as that. Over reacting due to anger does

The only one you knocked down with the pharisee comment was yourself bro. It’s no better than them calling you a pharisee because you chose to believe god and in their view saved yourself

Oh really, remember when @Lightskin became an adulterer and a drunkard?

I guess he was not "persevering" well enough and needed to be brought to repentance Calvin style?

Give me a break. I don’t care what calvinists think of me. And on another note you and one of the local calvinists embarrassed yourselves time and again with your online rants but now you’re telling me to check myself. Come on man.

I guess 2 wrongs make a right?

Did I say what they did was ok? I have 2 on them on ignore because they act that way. So what would I look like if I overlook when you do it?

a Pharisee works to earn salvation by his good deeds done in their own strength and for there own gain

Nothin in Calvinism resembles that

No matter how Much I despise Fatalism. If I sit back while people attack them as many of them attack us with these comments a i Am no better than they are

No what I am doing as asking you to calm down and not make stupid mistakes. Because your making ME and those who believe like ME (yourself included) LOOK BAD
you want to stand up to them feel free. Pick something that makes sense and fits them. Not something that does in no way represent them

A Pharisee is someone who is self-righteous, willing to point out the sins of others and seeing themselves as better than the rest... "hypocrites"

I think you know this.

No a Pharisee is one who thinks is going to heaven based on his works. Where a tax collector is one who understand no work can save him so he needs gods mercy
you and the people you continually attack both belief like the tax collector

The difference Between you and them is how you got To that point

if we do not care what others think of us we might not win them over because they will not see Christ in us and will disbelieve our message.

but we are called to be fishers of men. in order to be good fishers we should care that we at least try to show the Love of God in our actions and speech.

What you share is of value however Luke 18 depicts things differently then you describe.
