Look....I have tried to engage you in a decent, honest way....you up the ante, start accusing, misrepresent what we say, accuse me of plagerizing other's work etc......it is impossible to engage you with your lack of honesty...good luck!

As long as I agree with your teaching..you loved me......as soon as I stopped following you because of your behaviour, which was rubbing off on me.....I stopped following you.

Your treatment of others and how you addressed them is disgusting....that is why I no longer follow you....your behaviour is ungodly....

That is when you and your mates turned on me.

Anyway I am going now...so all the best.

You wanted me off this site ,there is no doubt about that in my mind....every thread I start you attack...I saw no error in what I posted re the fruit of the Spirit and you won’t convince me otherwise.

You also referred to me that preacher was banned....a few posts up.....you also want him banned.

for the record this is the post .... and it says "other pal" ..

You must have real issues with honesty....You accuse me of copying and taking credit for others work and I post a post that shows I cite my sources and in 6 years on this site I have referenced attending seminary maybe 5 or 6 times and generally when asked....You are absolutely untruthful and as dishonest as your other pal that was banned!

First and foremost you should only follow Jesus....

2nd I love the truth and will disagree with error all day long

3rd...Your judgment of me is false and just because I am kurt, blunt, say it like it is and refuse to coddle or embrace error does not equate me to your judgement above of me

4th The very man you embrace and follow may have you blinded by his smooth talking, but has a reputation way worse than I, so...quit being a hypocrite, judging me while dismissing his obvious contradicatory actions!

I produced truth, when I posted about the fruit of the Spirit...that is God’s truth.

Fruit is extremely important in the life of a true follower of Christ......all you did was mock me...because I used someone else’s words.

I was not in error when I discussed the fruit of the Spirit.

You are now making excuses for your behaviour and wrap it up to sound like truth...

I stand on the word of God.

I don’t stand on your word ....you will know a true follower of Christ because his fruit dwell in them...our whole personality change,to be like Jesus.from day one of salvation...my belief and it will never change.

You are more than kurt and blunt you are down right rude!

We bear good fruit when we are hated for no reason.

Persecution is an opportunity to forgive so it is an opportunity to bear good fruit

Maybe members can check it out in the not by works thread....it’s all there for everyone to see...start at the beginning......no more from me on this....
Translation: you deliberately made false accusations against Dconn and are too proud to admit it and apologize, so you’re trying to dodge and deflect. You constantly talk about the beauty of the fruit of the Spirit but you don’t have enough to come clean regarding you deceit. Shame on you.

In this context from Mat 7, Jesus was referring to the wicked Jewish religious leaders of His day as bad trees. They were the ones bearing bad fruit. Prominent men in the Bible are often referred to as "trees" (Psa 52:8,, Isa 56:3) while the common man is called "grass." (2 Kin 19:26, Job 5:25, Psa 37:2). In Mat 3, John the Baptist tells these wicked scribes and Pharisees that the "ax is already laid to the(ir) root." Jesus repeats this theme in the Parable of the Fig Tree in Mat 21. He is foreshadowing what will happen to the wicked generation of those Jewish religious leaders who would soon put Him to death. In turn, they and their children, will perish in the War with Rome in 70 AD and indeed Titus had every last priest killed.
Amen and Amen...... this is the proper way to understand >>>> what did the words of Jesus mean FIRST to the people He spoke them to, that is context and the proper lens.

a Good tree can bear Fruit Whenever. that has been my Experience anyways.
I grew up with several peach trees, fig trees, pear trees, cherry trees and grape vines in my back yard.

I can tell you a distressed tree although still a good tree will sometimes not bear fruit.

A tree needs to reach a certain stage before it can produce blossoms and then from there soil, fertilization, insects, and pollination are all factors... so it is not magic when a tree bears fruit.... but it is the combination of many good and important conditions.

Can you find a bible passage that states persecution brings about good fruit as in "fruit of the Spirit."

This sounds like let evil happen so that good may come out of it, I would disagree.

We bear fruit by abiding in the vine ..... Jesus and He is the supply and source not persecution.

I abide and bear fruit because of relationship and fellowship with Jesus... not because I am hated... I could not disagree more.

And where does scripture state we should judge the fruit of the Spirit in another person?

1 ‘Judge not, that ye may not be judged,
2 for in what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged, and in what measure ye measure, it shall be measured to you.
3 ‘And why dost thou behold the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, and the beam that is in thine own eye dost not consider?
4 or, how wilt thou say to thy brother, Suffer I may cast out the mote from thine eye, and lo, the beam is in thine own eye?

Without a doubt, but neither you or I are the inspector of fruit....Jesus is.....and an apple tree is an apple tree from the micro second it sprouts, it takes years of growth and maturity to bear even 1 piece of fruit and can have both good and bad fruit hanging from it's limbs....and IS STILL AN APPLE TREE!
Not according to scripture it doesn’t..John 15:8

By this my Father is GLORIFIED,that you bear much fruit and SO PROVE TO BE MY DISCIPLES

A good tree does not bear bad fruit.

Are you denying this scripture.

Luke 6:43

“FOR NO GOOD TREE BEARS BAD FRUIT......nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit?

We are talking the true vine here....not your fruit tree.

A true believer abides in Jesus.

Abide in me and I in you.As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it ABIDES IN THE VINE,neither can you, unless you ABIDE IN ME.

King James.

But the ones that fell on the good soil, these are the ones who have heard and bring forth fruit..by PERSEVERANCE.

Personal testimony..I have been persecuted...through that persecution...I came through and bear fruit for the Lord......it is a testimony to the Lord working in my heart..

Most of all..it GLORIFY His Name.....that is what being born again is all about.

TO GLORIFY God!
Let the world see the Lord Shine Out Of us!!.
