I've missed your Songs of Psalms............still have the two songs you recorded from my poems........play them now and again just to enjoy your rendition..........
I've had a lot of things going on over the last few years so I did neglect working on music. I immigrated to the US, recently I was setting up to record music again. I am struggling to install stuff on this laptop and just can't get it going.
But also I have to say my spark for music had been going away steadily, it's been like that for a while. I've always thought of myself as a musician, an artist, and it was a very upsetting experience that I finally just had to accept in order to not have continual grief and disturbance. I have been losing passion for all my arts - music, writing, drawing, I have no interest in anything artistic anymore. Nothing to do with the Bible or Psalms, I might meditate on Psalms and the Bible I'll always love the Word of God only there is no music. I can't even tolerate any music anymore. Maybe calming ambient only.
P.S. Sorry if this is TMI. It's something that I've actually had no one to talk to over the years and I hoped you as an artist would understand me.

I do.............and I also have struggled from time to time with being "motivated" to write. Part of the problem is that it takes so much out of a person.........people who do not do such wouldn't understand how "taxing" physically and mentally "creating" is............. A true Artist puts so much of themselves into their creations that it takes time to recover............
But, each time I go through such a time, I eventually find a "spark" of inspiration, and, suddenly, the words come pouring out........... The spark can come from Study of Scripture, or some event that occurs in my life........
Hang in there..........and, if it helps.........sometimes I just jot down a word, or two, or a sentence, or a verse........and put it in a drawer and move on.........then, I might have another thought, and write it down and put it in the drawer............before long, I have a collection of words, verses, and I pull 'em out and review them, and suddenly, I have a new Poem!
When God will, He will put in our hearts and minds what He will to inspire us. KEEP THE FAITH!

just a share; a few days ago I was in a local store, hand't been OUT in a couple of weeks, and,
while standing in line, I just casually asked the others in line, 'they were without 'masks',
'how many people have you known who have contracted the covid'???
they ALL said, 'NONE' = it may be our location, or may be the 'exaggerated media'???
we don't really care about what the media says - we don't have a 'boob-tube' or
anything other than a land-line & pc. - these people were being truthful, we believe them, 100% =
draw your own conclusions, of course aside from those who are willfully rioting/congregating-
destroying tax-payers properties,etc. = you have the right to protest, but under our 'constitution', no one
has the right to 'destroy property-invade others homes/businesses-HURT others in violent ways, or even
disrespect others for your own agenda, which now a days, is obviously for demonic purposes,
which are obviously being led by 'demonic forces'...
no Christian will tolerate/accept these 'un-holy' actions = when and if they come to your door,
know that The Holy Spirit will intercede in your behalf...

While it saddens me greatly, I feel compelled to alert all of you to a horrific abomination taking place here in America, and those responsible are so proud of their sinful act, that they have purchased valuable Air Time on Network Television Stations, and Cable Stations as well.
I simply can not stand by silent and allow this abomination to be perpetrated upon the American people! I must speak out, and demand that they be held accountable! I ask that you join with me in the condemnation of their inexcusable act of demeaning and degrading an Iconic American Symbol!
Who are these people?
They are the Hershey Corporation.
What abomination have they committed?

That's right! Hershey Corporation has taken a LOVE of all Americans.......the Reeses Cup and "THINNED" it down to 1/2 of the size of the Original Reese's Cup! But, even worse, they are CHARGING the very same price for these "thinned down" cups as they do for the Original FULL SIZE Cups.
This abomination can not, and must not be allowed to happen while God fearing, Chocolate/Peanut Butter loving Americans sit quietly by enduring such an atrocity.
BAN THE THINS!

@SoulWeaver ask God to renew and restore your passion for music and the arts. Actually it probably is still there it's just other stuff has been occupying or burdening you instead. Or maybe God is directing you to something new to start, maybe old doors closing new ones about to open.

I never realized you are so talented @SoulWeaver ... wow amazing talent you have
My wife (bless her cotton socks) also have a voice like an angel. I wish I can get her motivated to do something like you are doing with Psalms. When she was a little girl she sang on stage with many of the (then) big names in the South African entertainment industry. Maybe I should trust God more to awaken that in her again.
