You say you CAN read the Bible but by your show of Biblical ignorance you don’t take advantage of the opportunity to do so. On another note, I encourage you to attend worship services. Fellowship is rewarding.

Your downfall is that you have not checked the Greek meaning of the words, "salvation" "saved" "save", which means "a deliverance" "delivered" "deliver". We are delivered eternally. and we are delivered many times as we sojourn here in this world, which has nothing to do with our eternal inheritance.

1 Tim 2:4; There is a deliverance (salvation) here in this world, when born again babes in Christ come unto a knowledge of the truth.

The reason your false doctrine leads you to believe that you have to take some action to gain eternal deliverance, is because you bag all of the salvation scriptures into a "eternal salvation" bag.

Mankind has, by his own choice, chosen not to seek God, Ps 53:2

AS a general rule, most all of the bible is directed to God's regenerated people, and is given for the purpose of giving them instructions on how he wants them to live their lives as they sojourn here in this world. Some scriptures are God speaking about the actions of the world that hates him, but they are still directed to his disciples. for their learning.

I remember hearing a pastor down in Texas once that stated it like this: If you can't see that the Bible is teaching that Salvation is all of God and not the will of man, until God makes a man willing; it is because you are reading someone else's mail. It was not addressed to you.

That's because those who hold to the idea of "free will" neither understand the true meaning of "FREE" nor do they understand "DEPRAVITY" The Biblical meaning of "depravity" is this: The spiritual inability of man to possess discernment of spiritual things because man died in trespasses and sins, in Adam, when he fell. Thus, we all died physically, ( that is, no one will escape physical death. For we must all put off this tent of flesh.) and spiritually.

Only God can jump start a dead spiritual battery.
