Actually no, I call him Donald Trump, since that is his name.
The thing is that you cannot watch Facebook etc for news, then yes, you will get a lot of bullshit. However the things I am thinking of are things I have heard him say in speeches. And therefor they are directly from his mouth.
And no, some of them might not be lies, but I kinda hope they were because that would make him less stupid.
He claims that the EU was made to destabilize America. This is not the case. He claims that the world is laughing at America. That WAS not the case. They do now, but when he claimed it, no, most countries didn’t.
He claimed that America has lower numbers of Corona cases than almost all other counties. He then corrected with “less then the world”, and what does that even mean XD?
He claimed there had been something terrible happening in Sweden one night due to immigration. The Swedes where wondering what he was talking about.
He claims climate change isn’t real even though science says it is. I guess money comes first when it comes to his belief system.
He has even lied about how many floors there are in Trump Tower.
He claimed that the Spanish flu ended the Second World War, even though it ended before the war even begun.
This is not even mentioning all the times he has thrown out numbers because they sound good, and spreading rumors without any proof, something that is very dangerous for a president or any figure in power to do.
Need I go on?
No, you need not go on if you can't clean up your language on this family friendly forum.
If you cannot speak without being vulgar you have nothing of import to say to Christians who deserve better than a foul mouth which belies a foul mind, in our midst. .

First, it shows real class using a curse word on a Christian site. Next, in reading one of your posts it’s apparent that you live in a country with Government ran healthcare and high taxes, such as Canada. It’s also apparent that you are a “Tump Hater”. You bring up the lies he tells, well you give me a modern day President and I will give you a lie they told. I’m with others that in the long run it doesn’t matter what comes out of his mouth it’s the results. Hey, I voted for Nixon, one of the biggest liars that held the office. His lies didn’t matter, he got me out of Vietnam early before I got killed. Loved that man. Trump haters are so infatuated with destroying the man, they lose all common sense.

Can a Christian vote for the Democrat Party who support abortions, homosexual marriages, and socialism? Many televangelists Pastors ask the question, "How can you call yourself a Christian and vote Democrat"?

Depending on the variety of issues at hand, can a Christian vote for different parties or candidates?
So lets say you live in a very republican town, or county or even state. And there is corruption and/or cronyism in that town, county or even state. How do you vote that corruption and/or cronyism out? Perhaps the best and only way is to vote out the party that is in power, and temporarily give that power to the other party. In this case that would be voting for the democrat party.

you know honestly I don't think anyone is a true left or right there is always a small thing about the other side we agree and believe in I see the left and right attack each other all the time on the news and online is even worse in certain areas.
But the way I see it both sides have good and bad sides to them, I took this test a few years ago with my friend one of this personality tests but this one was for if you are left or right and I got in the middle I think that is called something but I can't remember it.
I believe balance is key in anything in life you cannot go to far one way or the other otherwise it's unstable these are all beleifs and views until they are acted on that is the thing isn't isn't it? ideas and beleifs of how things should be can cause mass chaos

I never claimed that democratic leaders don’t lie. In fact I said that all politicians (and people) do. But I have never seen and heard a person of power this ignorant of the truth and the honor of his opponents than Trump.
You as republicans deserve better than him. He might have done good things in his time in the office, but he has divided America and tarnished its image over the world. THAT is what he has accomplished in those few years since the election.
"You have never seen or heard a person of power this ignorant of the truth" I guess you did not hear of or watch the years when Obama was in power. I'm republican and I am for Trump 100%. I assume with your feelings of President Trump I am seen as Hillary stated in 2016 "If you vote for Trump you are deplorable" Oh well I'm a happy deplorable.

As far as calling him Donald Trump (as you stated because that is his name) I believe he should be shown the respect of addressing him as President Trump he has earned it although, to this day Hillary cannot accept the fact SHE LOST!!

Wow you have to be watching the "fake news" and the democratic narratives of President Trump. You stated word for word what they are slinging: "Divided America.... Tarnished it's image ? At least if Biden wins (which I don't think he will) you will not have to pay the price we American's do.

He doesn't vote, which isn't Biblical, and as such he has no room to complain about what befalls himself or his loved ones due to who does get into the office of controls over himself and his loved ones.
Can you support voting biblically? Praying for your leaders sure, but voting? Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's is about taxation...voting isn't a requirement. Nationalism can be argued, but not completely I don't think.

The second line looks a bit unchristian the way it comes across just from my perspective. If someone has a wrong view about something (not suggesting either way myself), should we not in love have grace rather than "tough luck" mentality? Where is that in scripture?

That's like saying since I haven't served in the military I have no right to say anything about war or have an opinion on it. Or someone is unworthy to enjoy American freedoms if they are a pacifist.

As to politicians (your question to me), that's a good question but a bit too broad to answer. An elected official would be a convenient answer but I feel there's tons more to that question that I am disinclined to spend the energy on at present. What is a politician to you? A policy-maker? Decision maker? People manager? Resource manager? Manipulator? Steward? Workers of iniquity/righteousness? just/unjust rulers?

On and on it goes for me. Each person that represents a group of people is a different case altogether, and while generalizations help, specificity cannot be practically carried out by me at this time so I cannot "say" unequivocally at present.

@soggykitten

Sincerely, I realize that people get heated about this, and I'm not trying to incense you...it just struck me as a large leap. Hopefully we can meet halfway on that. Posthuman has a lot of wisdom from what I've seen, voting preferences shouldn't cause dissention within the body. We should at least recognize that someone's public face is not their private face and some simply say things in order to be elected. We see this often enough in pulpits and so keeping a "weather eye out" should be encouraged.

Well we live in that type community and we don’t wait to vote them out we have public hangings. Other than that I don’t have time to really respond, the Cardinal Baseball game is on. LOL:)

You are incorrect, in my opinion. It is the MEDiA that has divided the nation. President Trump is responsible for the lowest unemployment rate among black people in recent memory.
He is about as non-racist as you can get, but to hear the press tell it, he's evil personified. Calling him and his supporters "KKK members" deliberately MIS-QUOTING what he said during the protests where a group of white supremacists showed up.... he stated that there were good folks out protesting on both sides, and the press went nuts. He was talking about many of the citizens of that city that were protesting the removal of statues, and there WERE many. But the press deliberately tied it to the white supremacists, even though President Trump has repeatedly denounced their beliefs/actions.

How has America's image been "tarnished"? Perhaps he should have bowed to a Saudi king like Obama did, showing subservience... would THAT improve the image of the US??

Look to Moses. “Look for able men from all the people, men who fear God, who are trustworthy and hate a bribe, and place such men over the people” Exodus 18:21

Praying for your leaders sure, but voting? Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's is about taxation...voting isn't a requirement. Nationalism can be argued, but not completely I don't think.
Nationalism can be a good or bad thing. People are what make it good or bad, of course.
Psalm 137:4-6. Israel was a Nationalist society.

The second line looks a bit unchristian the way it comes across just from my perspective.
You have a very odd understanding of what it means to be Christian then. I shared an opinion gleaned from the experience of having read P. If having an opinion ranks as un-Christian, we're all in trouble here. Including you.

You're conflating two different topics but I'll address both.
Just as an FYI, America is a Constitutional Democratic Republic. I believe if you seek out what that means you'll better understand how absurd it is to opine against those who vote, being one who does not. And that is what occurs when someone in this CDR demonstrates they are adamantly opposed to President Trump, when they had not the wherewith all to vote so as to insure, through their elective choice, he whom they do not respect did not attain the office.

As to the military. Opinions are a natural right. I would say someone who has never served have absolutely zero right to condemn or criticize military service.
Someone who has no respect for the military has little respect for the fact their freedom is protected by God almighty and a strong military.
As for pacifists, if they're not brave enough to stop injustice or an assault, they're freeloaders enjoying the protections others not so inclined insure continues for them.
Brave men and women put their lives on the line to insure I had the right to say that still. And that you have the right to disagree.

Yes, my question to you concerning your statement about politicians. It really is a simple answer. The definition of politician. As is the answer to the question, how many politicians are in America. I think if you can opine about such things and even criticize them, you should demonstrate you have a working knowledge of those terms you're interjecting into your discourse.

Voting is a way to show you support someone or what they stand for, if you do not vote you are basically saying it does not matter to me who gets in office., When asked why I vote, one of the answers I give is that the vote is a cherished right that should not be squandered and that I vote because voting is an affirmation of our democracy and I do so out of respect for and in memory to the many heros who have died, been arrested and/or been beaten when seeking the right to vote.

I voted for Obama in his second election. I voted for Trump in the last election. I’m not voting for either in this up coming election. For the one after this next one, who I vote for depends on the issues at hand thst seem most relevant to me.

Unless the Republican Party begins to take some accountability on being anti scientific and improve their environmental stances I will most likely vote for whoever is democrat unless it’s highly socialistic. What I mainly hope is that electoral college is dismantled and popular vote takes it place and the two party system crashes.

If you are referring to the Global Warning and Climate Change hoaxes, many reputable scientists have rejected those fear-mongering tactics precisely because they are NOT scientific. They are purely political, and much of the data was fudged (just like the Wuhan Virus Pandemic Hoax).

When the Leftists have nothing substantial to offer, they come up with fantasies to fool the gullible and/or low-information voters. The latest hoax is called "Systemic Racism" and "White Privilege", all of which is total baloney. Since there is nothing left to maintain sanity, the race card has been pulled out. Let's just hope that the majority of blacks can see through this manipulation and reject the Democrats totally.

Sorry, but dismantling the electoral college is a terrible idea. Our country would be run completely by New York, and California. The electoral college guarantees that each state is represented fairly.

I agree... it seems as if there always has to be the crisis du jour.... It used to be global warming... remember AlGore? Yeah, me neither... but when it was proven that "global warming" wasn't happening, they changed it to "climate change", to cover all bases. Many of you don't remember, but back in the 70's or 80's, the "experts" were predicting another Ice Age, for cryin out loud.

They grab onto a "cause" that cannot be proven or disproven, because the data doesn't exist on a long enough scale to "prove" anything. Our planet seems to go in cycles, through gradual warming, then cooling trends. These trends might last a thousand years.... who has been keeping data that long? The earth warms some in some areas, and cools in other areas. Some rainforests get cut down, and plant growth increases in other areas of the world.

Remember the hole in the ozone layer, that was going to kill us all if we didn't ban aerosol deodorant? ALL the "experts" told us that. Then, just like that, (thanks Forrest) it was discovered that the hole in the ozone layer was caused by the SUN... it gets bigger and smaller, depending on the sun.

Be cautious and suspicious when the "experts" tell you something. MOST of what they say is guided by the age old principle..... "FOLLOW THE MONEY"

As for climate change it’s not money driving it. It’s scientists. Scientists have been accurate on predictions based on the data.

The problem is when people who don’t understand what they are seeing just base their opinions off of headliners and not actually journals. There is a reason why the most qualified people who spend years and years in depth routinely study it (scientists) overwhelmingly agrees with climate change.

But it’s not just about global warming but also waste, ecology, nature fragmentation, invasive plants , ocean ph, insect migrations and so on.

OK, imagine the EC was done away with in 2016. We would now be talking in terms pertaining to President Hillary Clinton as she supposedly won the popular vote in 2016.
