Wrong on both questions: Nimrod was a very very good guess, but not correct -- that one is not a trick question . . .

The second one is a trick question: and you won't find it on the internet if you look it up - because I made it up myself!!

OK, I will ask two questions: one relatively easy and the other may stump you for awhile?

(1) Who was the first polygamist?
(2) What denomination was Moses?
Okay, here's my next two guesses:
(1) Lamech is the first polygamist because he is the first mention of having more than one wife.

Genesis 4:19 King James Version (KJV)
19 And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.

(2) Hmmm........Chester the Jester is being TRICKY!!!! :giggle:

After further investigating into the definitions of denomination, I found two........

- a recognized autonomous branch of the Christian Church; or
- the face value of a banknote, coin, or postage stamp.

Let's see if I can be tricky too with my answer..........

My guess is Moses was of the fiery branch and glowing face value! lol! :giggle:(y)

Well, you are right that Lamech was the first polygamist.

And that attempt at Moses sure was a good one . . .

And since I won't be here tomorrow I better give the answer so the questions can continue . . .

What denomination was Moses?

Well, he was a Mennonite of course . . . You see - he spent menny nights (40) on the mountain with God!

So I guess it is back to you, Laftur, for the next question

Some easy ones so we can get lots of people playing!

EASY: True or False - Lazarus was only dead for two days when Jesus Christ raised him to life.

MEDIUM: True or False - Carvings of pomegranates were NOT part of the Temple.

HARD: True or False - Jesus Christ spoke to Herod face to face.

There are five differences between what God said to the Man when he placed him in the garden He planted and what the Woman said God said? Can you find all five?

God said to the Man (Adam):

Genesis 2:16-17 (KJV)
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every (1) tree of the garden thou mayest freely (2) eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day (3) that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Woman (Eve) said God said:

Genesis 3:2-3 (KJV)
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit (4) of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it (5), lest ye die.

Very interesting.....when comparing the two, it made me consider how we "interpret" scripture.......there's what God said and how we understand what God said.......interesting to ponder the two.

We really need to know exactly what God SAID AND what exactly did God MEAN when He said what He said.

It reminds me of how we need all 3 - knowledge, understanding and wisdom.(y)
