School is just a waste of money. People play thousands and thousands of dollars for school, but it is all just a waste of money. A trick to to put you in debt. Because of whom you are overcome, under the same you are brought into bondage. But who has overcome more than those that bathe daily in the blood of the Lamb of God, who is Jesus Christ?

Get that burden lifted off. Trust in Jesus and don't follow the ways of this world, because these people want to know and have no knowledge. The get their degrees, even thinking they can get a degree in Jesus Christ, but their degrees will mean nothing to God. NO!!! NO!!!! YOUR DEGREES MEAN NOTHING WITH GOD!! HE WANTS RIGHTEOUSNESS! And not that same righteousness of the Pharisees of old who thought perhaps they had some great knowledge, yet they hated the Lord God whom they say they served. As it was written these people honor me with their mouths BUT THEIR HEARTS ARE FAR FROM ME!! Yes, in vain they do worship the Lord.

What a shame for our worship to be in vain. But the true worshipers worship him in Spirit and in Truth.

Stop wasting your money on temporary things, which will all perish just a soon, but put your hope and trust in the Lord, who will never forsake his own. It is not your duty to become hostile! NO!!! but to become humble before the Lord Jesus Christ. Not to go around poking eyes out but to, in love edify one another. But we must first have this confidence in Jesus Christ, that the Same spirit that rose him from the dead will also raise us from the dead (those who he has ordained unto grace). That, even though this outward man perish, we know the inward man is being renewed day by day into the perfect image of his Son Jesus Christ.

If the horse it dead, would beating it be considered animal abuse? (aside from the fact that a dead horse is still a horse)
 
God can call and use people with higher educations. It's going to be really hard to share the gospel with an astrophysicist if you have no idea what he or she is talking about. Paul says, "I have become all things to all men so by all possible means I might save some." (1 Corinthians 9:22b) It is good to be able to relate to the people you witness to. It could be very true that you learned everything you need to know through the Bible and Christ, but someone that has never cracked open a Bible is going to be able to relate to that.

This isn't a Biblical thing, but just my opinion:
The stereotype about Christians is that we are uneducated; that we believe what we believe because we don't know enough about the "real world." By going to school, getting an education and still following Christ we can break that stereotype and reach a new group of people.

I agree, school is really expensive though.

My friend, the Lord blessed your lips in that post. When you wrote:

You have understood, and may Jesus bless you. In the other post, that very thing came to me, and I know the Lord has sent you to confirm it.

Indeed, I am not saying that no one should go to school. But it is true it is not needed. That even the simple can be chosen to proclaim the gospel of Jesus. A major issue is that some highly educated people, who pride themselves in their knowledge, and puff themselves up this way, think that their education chose them. They disregard the anointing and go for some cheap, ''buy your way in,'' gospel.

You are right in saying that not all people need to continue into higher education. I personally feel God is calling me to get certified as a doula (birthing coach that helps women come up with a birth plan and is there throughout the labor) and become a mother. This requires nothing more than a high school diploma. I am currently working on both my high school diploma and associates degree at the same time, but currently do not feel called to pursue education further.
 
I guess we don't need doctors or lawyers or engineers or mathematicians or architects or chemists or astronomers....oh wait, we don't need astronomers.

God didn't need Peter nor Paul. These men forsook the knowledge of this world to obtain a higher knowledge. The knowledge of the creator of this world. The knowledge of God that was in Jesus Christ. And Paul was not taught this higher knowledge by men, but by the Lord God himself. And he wanted to hear nothing else, nor know anything else from them accept the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This is the way God does it. He reveals himself to those that are being saved, but to the perishing he is unknown, and the Truth is not found by the wise of heart. May Jesus bless you.
 
What I find funny is that if it's such a waste of money,then how did all the doctors and things which God created HIMSELF get to be here? We couldn't read,write,do anything basically without an education. Certain aspects of so called ''education'' and the education system may indeed be a waste of money,however,not all of it is. Not to mention basically everything these days requires at least a basic education and most require college education. Personally I do believe some things can indeed be learned through experience,but some things,well it's not a bad thing to be educated in. God can use others to teach us,which is what the whole ''teachers'' and ''teaching'' thing is all about. While God can do all things Himself,He has chosen to use others to have them done. He has chosen to work through us all. That's just basic facts and common sense :)

To each his own, Ram, for God knows our lives are all different, but also ALL lives are important to God, 'that NONE should perish,' it says in scripture. God cares for ALL to come to know Him, RAM, no exceptions, christians, non-Christians, EVERYONE FROM EVERY RELIGION. If you believe the bible then, as Zero said, mentioning...some are called to be doctors, others called to be teachers, others called to be preachers, others....
To become effective in work disciplines , not to mention employable, you need degrees, like teachers need not only a 4-year degree but also a 1-year Masters teaching certificate after that. Doctors need med school, do you really think I could just pray to God and then perform open heart surgery on you Ramon and everything would be a SUCCESS???
God will provide and God will lead and God will protect you in your life. Education is a means for us, ultimately, to lead others to Christ, whether its our peers, its our parents, or, maybe its even you are in a marriage where your mate does not believe in God.
Education is not a waste UNLESS God specifically tells you that its not going to be necessary in life. The Lord leads us all individually, Ram. It is everything to just seek a personal relationship with God and embrace educating love from whom God sent to help us in life: Holy Spirit.

Come Holy Spirit, I need you.
Come Holy Spirit, I pray.
Come Holy Spirit, I love you.
Come in thy own gentle way.

May our Lord God and Jesus and Holy Spirit bless you, RAM. :)

Yes, Amen to everything you said.

I am sure that the gospel of Jesus is true, and I am 100% sure that everything he says is true. Because many people have read this with some issue already at the door of their hearts, and they are blinded by that. You see, I never said education is a waste. Because there is always education of the Lord in the knowledge of his Son Jesus Christ.

But I understand even more now why Jesus spoke in parables. It is because carnal people cannot understand spiritual things. It is not edification to the carnal, but to the spiritual. I see now that many people love this worlds pleasures too much to even become spiritual. So even the gospel can fall on dead hearts and seared consciences. The gospel is turned to condemnation in the hearts and minds of the doubtful and unbelieving. But those who are being saved are FEW!!

You are right my friend. The Lord can use anyone, but when people put trust in the people more than in the one who gave, then it becomes a twisted perverted thing as the Lord is a jealous God. So, many will have some answer to the Lord about what they did this in his name, and they said this in his name, and they did so many things, but that attitude is the one that will have the Lord say to them, ''GO AWAY FROM ME! I DON'T KNOW YOU, YOU WHO DO INIQUITY!!
