This verse was prophecy at the time. He must be lifted up first. And btw, Jesus was not God’s one and only son. God has many sobs. Jesus was the only begotten. You need a KJV to be correct.

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
KJV is not required to have the phrase begotten. Most contain it. The word begotten is also very important. Angels and mankind were all called sons of god alluding to God as our father and creator. The phrase begotten means essentially brought into existence by a parent.

The body was prepared and begotten by God, not from Joseph or Mary.
Than it mean before the cross no body save?
If someone could get saved before the cross, then why the cross?

Was John the Baptist present with the Lord upon death? Was he he born again? Was he sealed by the Holy Spirit? Was he part of the Church, the body of Christ? Was he redeemed by the blood of Jesus before the blood was shed?

No one was saved with Jesus not yet crucified and resurrected
I believe the following applies to those who died before the cross and were in Abraham's bosom.

1 Peter 4:6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

Than it mean before the cross no body save?
They by the same spirit of faith as it is written looked ahead .It the Spirit of Christ worked in them bringing the gospel. The sufferings of Christ beforehand .

They received the end of their faith the salvation of their souls from the first words heard by which they could believe our unseen Holy God. God put no difference between us and them .Purifying their heart by a work of His faith just as us .who do have the power to believe coming from the earthen, powerless bodies of death .

He did not leave our brothers and sister in Christ as orphan without a heavenly father or widows without a bloody husband of circummsion. The veil is rent. The representative glory came. .

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. 1 Peter 1: 9-11

The Crucifixion was the second part of the three days and nights in the heart of the earth .

Heart of the earth. A metaphor to signify sufferings or belly of the whale the same .( living sufferings)

The promise according to Isaiah 53 parable it was represented by phase one of the three part demonstration . The garden of Gethsemane . This is when Jesus and the father alone worked it out together as one God . When finished and the disciples were awoken they moved on to the cross. another kind of demonstration.( the witness of men)

The old testament speaks of the cross .But I am not aware of any prophecy like that of Isaiah that directly speaks to the matter.

The Garden demonstration, the witness of God works the best for me. Not throwing out the cross with the water of the word. The witness of men .

The garden the witness of God is the greater .The tomb that last of the three part demonstration the witness of faith. It works to tie the other two as one witness not seen. The eternal things not seen . The law of faith (believing God as he gives us his understanding. )

So that samarithan woman not save, John the Baptist not save?
We are saved at the judgement. Everyone is saved at once when their names are called in the book of life. We don’t get saved twice. We go to the grave and then resurrected and saved to new life when we hear our names called in the book of life.

So at least you do agree that, at least "some" of teachings of Jesus was not directed TO us correct?
Splitting hairs now. I'm speaking of what the First Post says, and it's Title. The fact that some of what Jesus taught was "directed" at the Jews at that time, in no way justifies saying it is not beneficial to the Church today. Even then, what the Original Post says and what the Title says is simply not true.

Teachings "directed" at the Jews are still beneficial for gentiles and the Church today in that said teachings educate us, and give us a deeper understanding of Scripture.

But I won't just split hairs, I have to say that the Title of this Thread is wrong.

Without the teachings of Jesus, what would the Church today have? The Apostles simply taught what Jesus taught them, and told them to teach us. Given that he "directed" them to teach us whatsoever he taught them, then how are his teachings not for us?

Thank you for the discussion.

So you believe people that die before the cross, like abraham, Moses, John the Baptist, king David were save, am I correct?
