This is the most calvinstlc discussion I've ever had on here with an ' non calvinst ' ,followed by EG lol 😆
Take your anti Calvin lenses off when you read the Bible. It will help.

It’s not good to come to the Bible with the sole desire to disprove something. Let it speak in its own context.

I don't. Only when I'm speaking to someone who is calvinistic . Usually this comes across with an Arminain , Wesleyan, methodist, and of course other reformed traditions and denominations .

its not easy ,when your using so much calvinistic terminolgy and phrases .I don't think I'm alone in spotting this ? We have to be aware of these matters .Otherwise you could be in a non calvinst church and your new pastor could very easily be teaching calvinism under your nose . This happens all the time .

Thank you for sharing that you don’t hold that faith is a gift. Let everyone evaluate that statement independantly.
Faith is not the gift in Eph 2 . Were not ' given ' faith in order to believe. Through our faith we are saved . Faith comes by hearing the word of God . 1 cor 1.21 .

It is referring to the whole thing and so is the word “that”. That not of yourselves.

So the whole thing is not of ourselves, the whole thing is a gift of God.
Of course salvation is not of ourselves. its the gift of God not of works . The point is Grace v works .

Dude I am beginning to think you are not serious you just want to mock people. This statement is so far from truth about the person you wrote it To you are either decieved or just playing a game looking for a reaction and I doubt you are decieved

" Golden chain of redemption ' ?
Are you opposed to scarlet thread of redemption too?

So what do you disagree with. That the things in Romans 8:28-30 are precious, that they are connected, or that they relate to redemption?

Faith comes by hearing the word of God (Rom. 10:11-14), which is sent (or granted) first to the Jew and then the Gentile (Rom. 1:16). In other words, God is enabling faith by bringing the word of faith (His revelation), which is said to go first to Israel and then to “the high-ways and by-ways…the good and bad alike” (see the wedding banquet parable in Matt. 22). Remember, during the time of Paul, the Jews, generally speaking, had grown calloused to God’s revelation, otherwise they might have seen, heard, understood and turned to God, so the apostles took the message of repentance to the Gentiles, who unlike the Jews, “were willing to listen” (see Acts 28:27-28; John 12:39-41; Romans 9-11).
