The Lord God HATES divorce!!! Should we excuse ourselves because of the hardness of our hearts? Are we so merciless seeing as the Lord had patient tender mercy with us to put up with us, despising the shame? And how did the Lord win our hearts? With violence? NO!!! But by longsuffering and patience, being conformed till death.

Anyone who divorces except for the case of unfaithfulness does commit a very grave sin against the Lord, and it is not to be taken so lightly. NO! NOT LIGHTLY AT ALL!

But if you have done it out of ignorance, and I mean out of ignorance, then repent, and go to the Lord for forgiveness concerning this.

Don't you know that Satan is out to defile everything of God? Don't you know that he wants to defile even the temple of the Living God? SO WHY DO YOU LET SIN REIN IN YOUR MORTAL BODIES? Don't you know that YOU are the temple of the Living God?

I don't care to take that beast head on. STOP HOLDING UNFORGIVENESS IN YOUR HEART!! STOP BEING BITTER! IT WILL MAKE YOU CONDEMNED TO HELL!
Please repent and forgive. Accept the Lord's salvation today. And he will forgive you, AS YOU ALSO FORGIVE OTHERS.

SHOW MERCY AND YOU WILL BE SHOWN MERCY!

May Jesus bless you.

Do we know WHY he hates divorce?

Somthing Jesus showed me recently.

IF you see a woman, that you desire. And you do not check with the LORD on it. You are Lusting(Adultery. Sin#1)

If you continue to go after her never cheking with the Lord you are not akknowledging him in allyour ways.(Dissobedience. Sin #2)

Even if you keep it from sexual perversion,(which...is highly unlikely if you are desiring someone , and its not ordaned by God)
YOu are With someone that most likely you shouldnt be with. SHE was not ment for you. You two get married. It is not sanctioned by God, YOU are WITH another mans Wife( Adultery. Sin #3)

You also, to get into this mess, Desired someon who is not yours(Covet another mans wife. Sin #4)

You grow with this woman, And even if you never commit another Sin in your life, you are living in 4(maybe more) unrepented Sins. Which means you are not covered by the Blood of Jesus, adn Satan WILL be used to attack you, untill you wake up and repent.

Becasue of the unrepentant sin, that if you jut took the time to seek God (on why you marriage is falling apart, instead of seeking mans advice, adn councelling from man) Would probably bee shonw to you. but instead you act with out conculting GOd again, and Divorce her. You had JSUT tied yourself to that woman. YOUand HER were ONE flesh. One Flesh livign in unrepentant sin, but still, ONE FLESH. You felt her, she felt you, spiritually, etc.... YOu riped it asunder, therefore Claimign to be Higher then GOD(Pride sin #5 which actually you may have done that all along, so thats #6, #7, #8...etc)

So now, YOu claimign to Be God, living in unrepentant Sin. Rip the tie between you and your wife. Which would never have happened in the fisrt place if you had just consulted your supposed MASTER, Jesus on it. But now you, claiming to be god, in unrepentant sin, dvided the unified marriage, adn in essence have been caling GOD a liar, and in your life, your actions (even out of ignorance) are Mocking God, Blame it on Satan....but YOU do it. YOu MUST repent for these things now(or worse) Jesus WILL forgive you, but then you must pay consicuences(, sickness, ties with a person you were never ment to be tied with. YOu ruined the life of the Guy she SHOULD have married...by taking HIS Rib, adn then Throwing that Rib away becaue you selfishly got tired of it.

To add more to that, You and her WERE one. You are STILL one. So if she was never a Christian to begin with, YOU are tied to ALL her past evil, and sin. And all her FUTURE Evil and sin. Especially if you never repent of it, Repentance cuts the tie, and washes you clean...but if you dont think you did anythign wrong...

Now if you still dont do repent, TO HER, To GOD, to EVERYONE INVOLVED(ya know, i think maybe even the coucellors and pastors you dragged into the mess you shouldnt have been in in the first place) You will most likely do this again. Becasue NOW all that is on you mind is SELF, and finding a wfie that can better suit YOU, and it starts again.

Huamns dont think when they do an action. Now What i jsut said is my ramblings of what God showed me in the spirit recently. I went off on a tangent a bit...But really, KNOCK IT OFF!! And Just SEK JESUS IN ALL THINGS!! And have some patience. if you dont have ANY, Ask God for Some. YOu dont have casue you dont ask.

We seriously DONT count the cost befor we do a thing! And we Especially dont Seek GOD in everythign we do. So no wonder this WOrld is in shambles!

MAybe I wasnt hearing him clearly enough. Maybe i messed up on a few things...but seriously, anyone considering divorce...take a good hard look at that.

What we do to ourselves, others, GOD! OH whata loving and patient GOD we serve !!

GOD does hate divorce because satan is in charge of it.So if the unbeleiver leaves let them go and we are not held accountable.if the beleiver leaves he already knew and is very much held accountable.

The Bible speaks of when someone is not bound by a marriage, when the person is married to an unbeliever and the unbeliever leaves or when the other person commits adultery: now what about the cases when the spouse is beating the other person or abusing the children? I think physical divorce should be encouraged in those cases.

1 Corinthians 7

Keep Your Marriage Vows

10 Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband. 11 But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife.
12 But to the rest I, not the Lord, say: If any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is willing to live with him, let him not divorce her. 13 And a woman who has a husband who does not believe, if he is willing to live with her, let her not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy. 15 But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace. 16 For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife?

Yes brother!! God hates divorce except for the cases of marital unfaithfulness. As i was made to understand, the unfaithfulness that Jesus talked about here was not that after marriage. They were considered married even before the actual marriage took place. Like the case of Mary and Joseph. AFTER official marriage, after you say I DO, there are no grounds for divorce whatsoever... If we love God, we should love what He loves and hate what He hates!

Re-marriage( If your former spouse is still alive and kicking)= ADULTERY!! End of story.

My people perish for lack of knowledge. This knowledge is not hard to find...everything you need to know is in the Bible...so the case of 'i did not know it was wrong' should not be heard of!

I also hate divorce!

Ramon, sometimes relationships between people don't work out. If there is a god, and if he is good, then I'm sure He'll understand that.

To Ananda Tatz and disbeliever. DIVORCE SHOULD NEVER BE ENCOURAGED. People need to stop hardening their hearts, and then we would not have to answer to God for it. What happened to forgiveness? We should encourage forgiveness and not a direct contradiction the command of God. May Jesus bless you.

NO, GOD DOES NOT UNDERSTAND SIN! HE CANNOT LOOK ON IT!

Disbeliever, do you even know what good is?

So all that time Jesus spent as a human dealing with the things humans deal with he never gained any perspective on sin? Are you serious? God would have to understand sin otherwise he wouldn't have a problem with it! You have to know why you're against something before you can be against it.

God is so good, he cannot fathom how we would love to do sin. He is just that good. The reason he is against it, is because it is against goodness, which is what he is. It is contrary to Life. It is contrary to joy and peace. It is contrary to everything God created. It is contrary to his purpose of man. Indeed, God is so good that he HATES EVIL!! May Jesus bless you.

Yet another passage of "The Bible According to Ramon." God knows why we love sin. He also knows why it's bad for us, hence him being against sin. He created us, he knows how our minds and hearts work (he did make them didn't he?). Saying God can't fathom why someone would love sin would be like saying a computer programmer can't fathom how his own program works.

Disbeliever, do you even know what good is?
sorry to disagree if the person is being beaten every day and the welfare of the kids are in danger. I would advocate for divorce between the two adults. I would not advocate for the person to remarry and commit adultery but physically separation is a good thing, and you should realize that most of the infidelity things in the Bible is talking about people worshiping other gods and whoring and being unfaithful to God. Yet God does not divorce them.

Marriage is for the CHILDREN. "He seeks godly offspring"

I do not encourage divorce but more promote Godly marriages in the first place. However GOD has told us that if a unbeliever leaves then the marriage can be made void and the person is free to form a Godly union with a believer. Marriage should be built upon mutual respect and willingness to hand control of their body over to their spouse as God tells them they should do in the following verses:

1 Corinthians 7:2-5 (New King James Version)
2 Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. 3 Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. 4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. 5 Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

Malachi 2:14-17 (New King James Version)

14 Yet you say, “For what reason?”
Because the LORD has been witness
Between you and the wife of your youth,
With whom you have dealt treacherously;
Yet she is your companion
And your wife by covenant.
15 But did He not make them one,
Having a remnant of the Spirit?
And why one?
He seeks godly offspring.
Therefore take heed to your spirit,
And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.
16 “ For the LORD God of Israel says
That He hates divorce,
For it covers one’s garment with violence,”

Says the LORD of hosts.

“ Therefore take heed to your spirit,
That you do not deal treacherously.”
17 You have wearied the LORD with your words;
Yet you say,

“ In what way have we wearied Him?”
In that you say,

“ Everyone who does evil
Is good in the sight of the LORD,
And He delights in them,”

Or, “Where is the God of justice?”

I was certain this would not be so easily accepted, because such an idea requires sacrifice, which many people are not willing to make, EVEN MERCY!!!

Again, we should NOT advocate divorce, because it really makes the Lord angry. Don't you all know what the Lord Jesus did on that cross? Do you understand it? Or is it just a nice story to you? Do we or don't we desire to be like him?

Don't you know that he died for a bride that was not a bride, but who was an estranged whore? YES! He died for a wild untamed woman, who knew nothing better than to lust. He died so that, by the demonstration of his love, in the giving of his own life, he might win the heart of his bride to be.

This love of Jesus Christ came at a cost of his own life. But which of you are willing to do this for the sake of love. I am telling you this, the understanding of this love will seal the heart for eternity. If the marriage is a mess now, consider Christ who died, not for a perfect woman, but for a rebellious woman, ever drawing her with the remembrance of his blood.

May Jesus bless you.
