I just bought two more boxes of 9mm yesterday. I'm all stocked up! Just within the last two months the price went up from $14.99 for a box of 50 rounds to $23.95 and the only place I can find 9mm ammo where I live is at the gun range or a gun shop. The shelves are bare at Bass Pro Shops and Academy Sports.

Good to hear some is dribbling out on to the shelves. I am getting the press set up for 9mm, component's are tough right now. wish I still had a Dillon Square deal B right now set up for 9mm.
Can you reload ? A small Lee hand press and set of dies could get a person started.

Wow. Those old wheel locks are something else. I'm trying to get a flint lock but right now price is prohibitive.

The biometric handgun safe that I wanted and costs $139.99 on Amazon is on sale for $102.99 during Amazon Prime Day 2020 - October 13-14. Just ordered it last night. (y)

I hope it is perfect for your need when it gets here.

Sounds like you can have a space to leave a press set up, I still miss the Dillon Square Deal B but the 550 will load pistol and longer rifle cartridges where the SDB was limited to pistol cartridges, not even big enough for the 223.

I received my biometric handgun safe yesterday. It's just the right size. It holds both of my pistols and three loaded clips. It's really easy to use by unlocking with fingerprint identification. It comes with a long life rechargeable lithium battery and I also have a key back up to unlock it. I found it a little strange that the instructions said to not leave your gun loaded while storing it in the safe. Did they mean having a round in the chamber? I keep my clips loaded, but I don't chamber a round while storing my pistols in the safe. Who would want to store an unloaded gun in a safe? That means when you take it out of the safe during an emergency, you still need to load it! You may not have time for that during a serious emergency.

How fast does it open?

I am sure they're attorneys had them put that in, what with the number of people who pick up a firearm with their finger in the trigger.
Revolvers are my favorite, it takes an intended action to rotate the cylinder, cock the hammer and fire a revolver, not merely release a striker.

The fundamentals of Bullseye Pistol Shooting- all hand gun accuracy is based on these principles.
