Jerusalem was made beautiful from ashes , they then later abandoned God following several gods again and again and again . They took the beauty God gave them and changed it through thier adultery with other gods.
you see this in revelation the woman begins glorious , gives birth to the messiah , and then her desolation begins as the dragon pursues her , and the children which sprang up with the new covenant who carry the testimony of Christ Jesus .
later you see Jerusalem being prrraued as a great whore who’s fornications we’re poured out to all around her. So as God said there he would turn her lovers against her to carry out his judgement on her that’s why Jerusalem has suffered so greatly through time even th last century with the holocaust
those things came from the transgression of and breaking of their covenant it became a curse but we have the messiah and his covenant

hmm do you have any scriptural references to support that thinking ?
Israel is offered salvation just as gentiles are right now jesus didn’t exclude Israelites from salvation , he extended the offer he made them to all people because when their promises salvation came with the messiah they rejected and crucified him.
Anyone from Israel can be saved there’s no different way there’s one way for gentile and Israelite because those who hear and believe the gospel are the real children of Abraham and Abraham’s children can be any color shape size of any nationality any language any race of men .
whoever believes will be saved . And whoever believes is the Israel of God.
“Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children:
but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.”

no ones going to be saved because of their race or nationality not because of the physical but faith of Christ the promised seed
