The church fathers believed in the correct scriptural Post-Tribulation, Pre-millenium classical millenialism, it has through the ages been twisted by many, who read the scriptures for what they want it to say. Many believe in nunc-Milleniumism, or amilleniunism - it is not scriptural however, as the battle of Gog and Magog is on this earth, after the 1000 years.

Satan is released at the end of the tribulation, and he is seen with the beast and false prophet, as devils go forth to the kings of the earth to gather them to the final battle,same battle seen in Rev 20:7-8

You skip verse 9, which tells you that the Battle of Gog and Magog is against Christ Yeshua and the saints, where they ruled a 1000 years, on this earth, from this earth's beloved city, Jerusalem:

We can also hardly say that the 1000 years is the current period, and that Satan is currently bounded. Worldly events does not indicate a bounded Satan, as of yet, on this earth - he is thrown here out of heaven, since Calvary, and will in future be bounded for a 1000 years, at the return of Christ Yeshua to this earth, after the great tribulation. After the 1000 years has expired, Satan will be loosened only for the battle of Gog and Magog on this earth, before being cast eternally into the lake of fire, with the beast and false prophet of the great tribulation.

I think we are going to disagree on this one. I read Revelation 20:1-10 for what it says, if I have to read something other than what it says, there should be a reason for changing the literal meaning of the text. I cannot find any reason to change the literal meaning of the text, as it fits other scriptural prophesy. We can also hardly say that the 1000 years is the current period, and that Satan is currently bounded. Worldly events does not indicate a bounded Satan, as of yet, on this earth - he is thrown here out of heaven, since Calvary, and will in future be bounded for a 1000 years, at the return of Christ Yeshua to this earth, after the great tribulation. After the 1000 years has expired, Satan will be loosened only for the battle of Gog and Magog on this earth, before being cast eternally into the lake of fire, with the beast and false prophet of the great tribulation.

There Will Be No 1,000 Year Millennial Kingdom Upon This Earth...
