I am pretty sure your reputation was far greater than 17... like, closer to 200 or something :)
Oh look what I found by googling! A pic of an old CC post showing the old format. (I added the arrows and blurred everything out)

"One has to be independent and pursue what is true between themselves and God, or live in conflict and doubt following people. People most often don't know where they themselves are going, and change their minds constantly. People dishing out religious advice and assuring you they know the truth won't be there to vouch for your spirit after death, or get you out of hell, nor can you sue them for damages, if their advice was wrong."

Thus I will never be anyone's teacher. One cross is enough for me to bear...
and woe to all those wishing to be teachers.

SW, hub and I can certainly appreciate you cautioning others, as we so often do - but, as you well know,
when God gives us a direct order, no matter how we may feel about it, we must obey!!!
we have, over these many years seen not only on the telly, but in various 'churches', self-proclaimed
teachers and preachers proclaiming that their own 'doctrines were 'law' -
but we also know that there are 'true-appointed-teachers of God; we must concede, it is like finding
a needle in a haystack for the many, especially for the 'babes' - it's so very disheartening when watching
the 'televangers'...
we both prefer being 'sharers', but are always on call'...
:):)
EPH. 4:10.
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that He might fill all things.)
11.
And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12.
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of The Body of Christ:
13.
Till we all come in the unity of the Faith, and of the knowledge of The Son of God, unto a perfect man,
unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

But you do know what people I'm referring to, you know them when you see them... those wishing to be teachers... it's about the wishful "long robed" ones that like the greetings, and it's damning, not helping. Jesus called it "blind leading the blind"
Not sure if I was even cautioning, it was on my mind this morning, is all... just airing out my thoughts
I agree on the needle in a haystack assessment, it sure is difficult.

The KEY in discerning people is which Gospel are they preaching. The Apostle Paul teaches this in Chapter 11 of 2 Corinthians.

@Magenta... could you do one with...
2nd Timothy 1:7

to post on my work and home, thank you in advance😎
I will consider it, thank you for the suggestion :)

An Acts' verse was brought to mind very recently, which
I have an older panel of, and that I would like to redo :D

Ha, you can tell it is an older one :giggle:

I do no have the "elements" I need to make it though, as I want to have a figure
with their arms crossed over their heart, hands on opposing shoulders type of pose.

Haha nah, I remember always wanting to catch up to a certain member who was always 2 to 4 points ahead of me. When she had 12 I had 10 and when she had 17 I had 14. I remember getting up to 17 and she was at like 21. The problem was that it was based on other people clicking the "add reputation" button on one of your posts. Most people didn't even know about the reputation button and those that did usually never bothered or forgot about it. But I had a lot of green lights! I think I had all of them lit.
Oh, yes, Gabe, your rep was around 180 when someone made a thread just to have others give rep points, and it did go up even after that. The thread was shut down, by the way, as it was seen as an abuse of how the system was meant to work (which it definitely was).

Last night I went into the city to see the christmas lights and there was a street food festival on as well. To my surprise alot of the food stalls were donuts. They were everywhere. Greek, Italian and Dutch donuts. I had already eaten but I must say the Greek donuts looked the best. Next time I will try them :giggle:
