PSA 115:17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.
ECC
9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
9:6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any [thing] that is done under the sun.

Acts
2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
2:35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool. David is still awaiting for YESUAH to come to Resurrection HIM.
To resurrect means to raise from the dead, Till they are raise they do not know anything or neither can they praise the LORD,
JOB 17:13 If I wait, the grave [is] mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness.
17:14 I have said to corruption, Thou [art] my father: to the worm, [Thou art] my mother, and my sister.
17:15 And where [is] now my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it?
17:16 They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when [our] rest together [is] in the dust.

yes David wasn’t the apppinted Christ is peters point there , David was prophesying about Christ is peters point again though

how is moses alive and well discussing christs death ?

Who were those who raised from their graves After Jesus was raised up ?

“And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:52-53‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Are they dead still too ?

Or Moses who appeared standing with Jesus discussing his death with him , I’d be dead also ? The thief on the cross is the paradise he was promised a grave where nothing exists ?

consider the Gospel

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24-25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:51‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There’s a difference in being among the dead the good news brother

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”
‭‭John‬ ‭11:25-26‬ ‭

The dead know things even non believers

“And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:22-25‬ ‭

it seems as if Solomon was missing some information that came with Christ

======================================
Neh,
Post is just stating a 'given'!
you weren't 'nit-pickin' were you?
I think he was referring to this , if I’m not mistaken

“The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon;

and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭12:42‬ ‭KJV‬‬

christs wisdom can do this

“For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:21-22, 24-25‬ ‭

“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:39-40‬ ‭

Solomon wasn’t speaking from this time but from a time when death reigned through sin . The gospel is a new thing applying to our life in this world , and our life ever after . Solomon’s wisdom doesn’t compare to christs is I think the point

Solomon has no clue about the things Christ revealed for all his wisdom he doesn’t compare to Christ and the wisdom he taught because it was never revealed beforehand It was christs appointment

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:7-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We can only know these things through Christ if one were to believe Solomon they would remain in death , if one believes Jesus they will have life eternal .

To YESUAH most is going to be destroyed For not repenting and Holding To the sins that they love more then HIM,
yes for not repenting of unbelief.

for He says, "unless you believe that I AM you will die in your sins"

all who are in unbelief are dead already as God defines death. this is the meaning of what Solomon said: the unbelieving do not praise Him; they cannot. it isn't about non-existence when the tent of flesh returns to dust; it's about Christ.

you're never going to understand these things when you look at the Bible as a list of works to do and works not to do, instead of recognizing the Bible as a testimony about the person and work of God. it's not about you, Bud -- it's about Him.

God spoke through Solomon. that's why Ecclesiastes is scripture.
God speaking through Isaiah ((57:1)) said the dead are blessed because they are spared further troubles of the world.

is a person "blessed" by having no reward, no knowledge of God, no praise for Him on their lips?
yet Moses - who died - stood witness at the transfiguration that the Shekinah glory which inhabited the pillar of cloud and the temple is none other than Jesus the Christ, invisible I AM made visible, manifest in the flesh.

when's the resurrection, Bud? what's Moses doing on the mount speaking with Elijah & Christ? is he dead or not? according to God's definition of 'dead' -- not mankind's.

MOSES was in the transfiguration with YESUAH and Elijah. that was already in heaven,
the transfiguration took place on earth.

the resurrection is explicitly bodily resurrection. Jesus ate a fish to prove it.

THOSE THAT THINK THAT THEY HAVE TALKED TO THE DEAD, ARE VERY MUCH DECEIVED, THEY ARE NOT TALKING TO A DEAD GHOST, OR A DEAD SPIRIT OF A MAN,
there is no indication whatsoever in 1 Samuel 28 that it is a demon speaking to king Saul; in fact, the text of God's word gives every indication that it is Samuel himself. who had died in the flesh.

i do agree that all mediums are liars enslaved by deceiving spirits.

This is because they are in the grave resting till YESUAH come back at the end of the world to resurrect them and us that dies before he comes.

They are bless because they saved and will be in the first resurrect. bless and resting till YESUAH comes and raises them and us that dies that are saved, all the lost will remain in the graves till the second resurrection. even the ones that was alive, shall be destroyed by the brightness of YESUAH COMING

Moses was resurrected before YESUAH< and was with YESUAH at the transfiguration on the mountain

This was not Samuel, It was A devil. THE dead CAN NOT TALK,

ECC 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
9:6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any [thing] that is done under the sun.
PSA 115:17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

Job 14:13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
Here is Job is telling us THAT he was going to be in the grave in secret, until GODS wrath had past,
And that is at the resurrection at the end of the world

WE NEED to be PRAISEING the LORD WHILE WE CAN, BUT the true JOY is after the saved is Resurrected at the FIRST resurrection, will have eternal life to PRAISE YESUAH,

So you read this and you do not see that he is talking about how all their plans and efforts for this life (under the sun) have perished?

The author of Eccl is not thinking that these he is referring to have a reward of the resurrection, (neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.) Therefore you would be dishonest to apply this verse to what happens to Christians when they die wouldn't you? Stop trying to make scriptures support your cult teachings. They never will.

Christians can stand on this verse:
2 Cor 5:
6Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord!
THAT ENDS ALL CONTROVERSY.

Now put that in your cult pipe and smoke it!

Now come on with me and .....Let's do the figurine.... boom boom.... do the figurine.... dah dah... just do the figurine...

I don't keep up with the name cults but is YESUAH even a real word?
