What laws were nailed to cross.
the one whose name is "The Word of God" was nailed to the cross.

why would He have to die to save us from merely human traditions that God never recognized as binding?

Your not forgiven for law your forgiven for sin. Mat.5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or prophets: I am come not to destroy but to fulfill.
i don't have to remove a single jot or tittle if i have died -- the law has no authority or power over a dead man.

i do have to remove an awful lot of jots & tittles if i think to divide the law against itself and remain under part of it but not under the rest.

Christ sacrifice frees us from condemnation of sin not gods righteous statutes. Without them we wouldn't know how to live.
we wouldn't know how to live without the letter?

you speak as if we don't know good from evil or that God is unable to write anything on our heart. how do i explain that the Gentiles "who have not the law" do by nature the things the law requires, their consciences excusing or approving them?

but not being under the law is not equivalent to being lawless nor is it equivalent to the law not existing. for example suppose someone overburdened at your work or school drops an armful of books and papers. you don't have a written law commanding you to help them pick up & carry their things, do you? but you know what righteousness is in this situation. you don't stop and consult a 'manual for good behavior' to see if you should hold open a door for them to go through, or to do other kindnesses, do you? do you need to look up the county statutes before you stop your car to avoid hitting a squirrel or a dog, or to help a turtle cross the road?

in fact i would say that if you do need a written letter of how to walk righteously and to do good, then your heart is wicked & unredeemed. doesn't scripture say, the law is not for the righteous but the disobedient & ungodly? 1 Timothy 1:9

They are?

I though the two commands were the path. Not the ten
yes i don't remember it being written in scripture that 'whoever keeps the 10 commandments fulfills the whole law'

and i think it's enormously significant that what Jesus says are the two greatest commandments, neither of them are among the 10 -- they're not even in Exodus!
they are both in fact in what people call 'ordinances' & 'handwriting of men' i.e. the 97% of the jots and tittles they say can be deleted.

Yes, the two commands

or what many of us call, the law of Love, which is what a true believer should be following,

even greater than these is "
love one another as I have loved you" -- for no man has greater love than this ;)

Jesus calls this "
a new commandment" -- even tho 'love your neighbor' was already written in Leviticus 19.

I'm not sure why Christians are always looking for something to do. Do and don't, and where is the line. Love the Lord, he by his spirit will keep you and direct you. Pray and read his word, that will convert you.
my guess, is vanity

Rev. 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. O look saved believers keeping Gods commandments even at the end of days I guess they should have listened to you and all who agree with you that they don't need to do that I guess true believers never learn.
God commanded that the whole congregation put to death anyone who blasphemes, by stoning.
is Revelation 12:17 referring to people who stone to death anyone who curses God?
do we delete jots & tittles, or is this speaking of something other than the law of the Sinai covenant with Israel?

this is saying they have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Galatians makes it clear that those who have the testimony of Christ do not require physical circumcision. but God at one time commanded physical circumcision. so are these people in Revelation 12:17, people who command physical circumcision and cast out anyone who is not physically circumcised?
do we delete jots and tittles from the law, or is this speaking of something other than the Sinai covenant with Israel?

God commanded to Adam all the seed-bearing plants are for his food. God commanded to Noah every living creature are for his food. God commanded to Moses only certain creatures are for food and others must not be for his food. God revealed to Peter & Paul that all creatures are created by God and good when received with thanksgiving -- which dietary commandment of God do the people in Revelation 12:17 keep?
do we delete jots and tittles, or is this speaking of something other than the law of the covenant with Israel that God made at Horeb?

Then sadly no one is saved because no one remains sinless after receiving the knowledge of the truth.
Hebrews 10:26 is often misinterpreted by misguided teachers of the law and sinless perfectionists. To "sin willfully" in the Greek carries the idea of deliberate intention that is habitual, which stems from rejecting Christ deliberately. This is continuous action, a matter of practice. Now we don't walk along our daily life and "accidentally" fall into a pit called sin. We exercise our will but, the use of the participle clearly shows willful, continuous action. The unrighteous practice sin. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Galatians 5:19-21); not the righteous, who are born of God. (1 Corinthians 6:11; 1 John 3:9)

Hebrews 10:39 - But WE are not of those who draw back to perdition, but OF THOSE who believe to the saving of the soul. Those who draw back to perdition do not believe to the saving of the soul and those who believe to the saving of the soul do not draw back to perdition.

I will make my beliefs clear one more time Duet. 31:26 are the laws nailed to cross. We are no longer under the condemnation of sin by the final sacrifice of Jesus Christ. No we don't live by Gods laws that condemn sin we live by life in Christ in which their is no sin. We are to practice righteousness as Jesus did which Gods word teaches us in. We are to walk in spirit and truth and to do only the things of the Holy Spirit that Christ's life may be lived in us and through us. How beautiful!

All the commands summed up in the 2.
Yep

its sad we have people who think following the law makes them righteous people. When Jesus said if we wat to follow the law. Just obey these two commands,

In Lev 19 your neighbor was your countrymen,

jesus upped the requirement, and now you or neighbor is anyone, including your enemy

Exactly no sin in Christ look you can't refute truth and think you need to read definition of discord which god hates go pray in the spirit and we can lift each other up like were supposed to or you can keep getting your feathers ruffled.
